His song is so real. The first time i heard this song it hit me. I'm an aspie but this reminded me of my daughter's childhood. Like Sheldon she is 22/23, artistic and autistic, queer, part Asian and we have an English Springer. She heard this song and we both went back to her as a six year old coming home from school and me asking if she had played with anyone! It is very rare for we aspies to see our stories so raw, so real and written by one of our own. Not by a well-meaning parent or relative or someone thinking we make good comedy material. Thank you for this great interview and thanks to Sheldon for showing people what a real aspie looks like not a stereo type. We will be up at 5am to cheer you on young man (with Spike our 15 year old Springer at our feet).
