I cannot overstate how excited I am for the orbital mechanic - it is such an elegant solution to the way people end up turtling up a core during late game multiplayer and end up pretty much engaged in stagnating trench warfare if...oh dear...your shipyard's orbit just took it into the middle of your enemies empire. It encourages players to strategically conquer, generalise and even abandon colonies in order to either try and hold out until they return to a more friendly orbits or to simply replace them with whatever's entering your territory, not to mention the offensive potential of keeping a fleet sat quietly rotating past the chokepoint instead of trying to break through it. It's going to keep things fresh and dynamic and I can't wait to see it in action competitively.
Playing Vasari Loyalists was always my favorite style of play for how unique the nomad mechanics were in the first game, glad to see it’s almost exactly the same!… Though mixed feelings, I’m quite happy for a graphical update, and I wish they’d do this for more games like Dawn of War and Empire at War but… is it just me or is it almost exactly the same? Only change I see is a tech layout condenser and this idea that the planets move
Sins of the Prophets 2 is actively being developed for Sins Rebellion. But I catch your meaning and likewise think that SotP for Sins 2 would be awesome.
@@daha1214 Sins of the Prophets is a halo-themed total conversion mod for Sins Rebellion. A sequel/rebuild of that mod is under development, called Sins of the Prophets 2.
Can someone explain to me what's going on with the release of this game? It is for sale on epic for $40. People say the steam beta for it is "coming soon", but when I look on steam it says not arriving until Q3 of 2024?
Did they nerf the phase missiles from the Vasari, because it feels laking compared to Sins 1.. Or that's a thing they working on or did Monu's fleet did not have that many ships/bombers in them?
Wishlist Sins of a Solar Empire 2 on Steam NOW and support this channel: steam.gs/l/157jf/MontuPlays
It's been playable for some time now, if you buy it from the epic store

I'm glad it can be disabled
I am also very hyped for multiplayer. And I hope they will make the Advent also unique
"Stripped to the core, more like stripped your ancient empire to the core." The Threat chasing the Vasari
Montu finds a new game to be "the Good Guy(TM)" by cracking worlds
From my point of view the Jedi are evil!
@@MontuPlays THEN YOU ARE LOSTTT!!!
Btw I just lost the game, blame Montu for this.
The virgin humans: let destory there capital planet!
The Chad Vasari: here, let me do it for you.
Vorastra Titan sucking up the entire TEC fleet like a space vacuum cleaner was great.

Excited to see you cover more of this game pre and post release!

@@DecidedlyNinja okey thanks. Sounds nice.
16:12 missed opportunity to insert clip from Mean Girls...."say crack again"
Ahh yes my favourite Void Dweller Terravore Playthrough
Ah yes the Vasari Exodus I will just strip your worlds for parts strategy.
Amazing! Love this game and love his commentary / challenges. Sins games can last so long, so seeing an edited battle is awesome!
This is why I play stellaris with fewer planets. Just fewer to crack
Why would need to become the crisis win condition to destroy all the planes? Just run a tide of crackers with an overwhelming fleet.
In the first Sins, the vasari loyalist titan was the best titan in the game. Loos like it will be the same in Sins 2
Montu found a new planet to crack when telling us to like the video
Looks good. Can't believe I lost the Game during this video. Cracking good job sir
I wasn't expecting a sequel to Sins. Looking forward to it!
"We need more! MOOOOOOOOOOORE"
Damn, now research tech rank is an actual building that takes a slot.

I'm surprised youtube hasn't removed this video, with all the stripping it shows. :P
Wooooooooooooooooooooo! Can’t wait!(but I have to)
This isn't even new. I main Vasari Loyalists in Sins: Rebellion and their playstyle is planetless and basically exactly like it is here.
It's fairly unique to the Sins franchise but they can't pretend it's some wacky new idea for Sins 2
while the TEC research colonization of planets the vasari research occupation of planets
Holy shit!
omg it's so cool
I just lost The Game
NOOOO WHY DID I LOSE THE GAME BECAUSE OF A SPACE GAME RUclipsR LMAO

Ugh you made me lose the game. :p
