    I can kind of make up the order of events for the SOS sign one, maybe:
    -he got lost
    -while he waited for help, he saw a search helicopter overhead. He tried to get its attention to no avail.
    -frustrated, he made the SOS sign for the next possible helicopter
    -he got injured while making the SOS sign
    - he limped up the mountain- could be a nearby high-up cliffs side, poor translation making it sound like a mountain. He could think that it would make him easier to find.
    -no more search helicopters were sent
    -he either
    •died up on the mountain, and an animal dragged him down to the river for food and water
    Or
    •in a state of dehydration, put his pain aside and walked down the mountain-through the bamboo, and found the river. He succumbed to his wounds near the river.
    So, the reason the helicopter didn’t find him was because he made the SOS sign AFTER seeing the copter and realizing people were searching for him.
    His voice recording was most likely to project his voice since he was aways from the SOS sign. He could have though a second copter would be sent, they see the sign and get out, he seees the helicopter land (bc mountain) and starts to play the recording. Only, a second copter wasn’t sent.
    Other two lads being found was just a coincidence. Maybe the area was a somewhat-local hiking area?

      It is really possible, because in that long time, the trace of his way through this on the space, would be easily lost, I guess. Maybe (and this is a huge maybe) something could be covered for high forensics, but I could not tell. What makes me not so sure is the supposed injury while making the sign. What injury? The broken bones? Okay, but in which moment would he managed to get hurt? Because the SOS sign, is just completed. How a person with many broken bones would manage to chopp down such massive trees while injured, and then drag itself across all this route searching for help or survival?

    • @Loseurillusions
      @Loseurillusions 4 года назад +4

      I would say we could take a good guess about the batteries on his (his?) recording device, but it probably would just vanished off after that point of 5 years, I guess.

    • @zenosynnee
      @zenosynnee 4 года назад +20

      @@Loseurillusions I believe he injured himself while making the sign because that would be the only plossible way. He had already chopped down the logs, and hurt himself while moving the logs atop one another. He could have hurt himself towards the end of it due to exhaustion and carelessness, and then pushed though the pain to get the last bit done.
      He could have pushed though the pain to get atop the cliff/mountain for a better view of the helicopter if it were to come down, then lead the rescuers to his location via recording

    I have an interesting but sad theory that could explain some of the weird parts of the Kenji story: What if he actually had been stuck on some kind of cliff or high point where at some point he had seen a helicopter fly past, and somebody else had chanced upon him, and attempted to drag him back to civilization.
    Now this brave individual despite their best attempts were running out of food and water, and realised they couldn't make it back while dragging him, and so decided to leave Kenji behind and bring back rescue, and made the s.o.s sign so that rescuers could find Kenji, but this person sadly never managed to make it back, even without Kenji weighing them down.

    He recorded the tape while he was lost, but not at his final moments. Perhaps he was near a hill at the time he recorded the tape, and even managed to see a search helicopter but they didn't see him because of the bamboo. Later, seeing that his situation didn't improve, he might have decided to keep moving and make the sign. Then something else happened (maybe exposure to the cold, maybe an injury while making the sign itself not at his best) and he ended up where he was found.

      Might be because Lazy has actually done some due diligence on Paulides and these cases. Do your own research on those missing 411 cases. David Paulides cherry picked a lot of facts and left out a lot of those pesky inconvenient facts that made cases less "mysterious." He also rarely gave sources for his information, which is sketchy to begin with. Also, the fact that he only promotes his book on conspiracy sites and programs should tell you something right there.
      He's also lied about his own past, how he gathered information on these cases and in many instances, the cases themselves. He consistently gets facts wrong about cases and in ninety-two of those "missing cases" the people were found alive and well. David Paulides is a con man and a liar, which is why he was forced to resign from the San Jose police department after being charged with a misdemeanor for fraudulently stating his rank on the force to obtain autographs.
      Paulides falsified many aspects of the cases he supposedly spent seven thousand hours investigating. He's full of shit. He also claims that he offers no theory or conclusion as to why this grand conspiracy is allowed to run amok, yet many of these cases were presented in another book he previously wrote about bigfoot attacks. Yes, he actually believes that bigfoot is responsible for missing persons in state parks and reserves.
      Missing 411 is the last place I'd look for information on missing persons cases because it falls into the realm of pseudo-fiction. That's why no respectable journalist would ever cover his book, because it doesn't take much fact checking at all to uncover the fact that Paulides is inconsistent with his information and has outright falsified details in many cases covered in the book. I wouldn't hire Paulides to solve the case of who ate my bag of cheetos that sat in the shelf for three days before they went missing! Spoilers! It was me the whole time! But seriously, he got so many details wrong, it was ridiculous. He also completely dismisses medically and scientifically known symptoms of hypothermia as "0oo00o spooky strange stuff!"

    In the Patricia "Lee" Parsons case, there was one arrest made in 2007 - some ill defined dna evidence - but the man refused to speak, and was later released without charge. It's easy enough to look up if anyone is interested, but I've not named him here, since, well, "released without charge.'

      I've been seeing comments like this everywhere which is sparking my curiosity, but I will never look at those pictures (on purpose) because I know it will haunt me lol. This comment in particular helped me come to that decision. My imagination after reading it is going wild.
