Peace Lily: 🌺Care & Propagation Parts 1 & 2 Combined🌿

- This is my first video, which I had to divide into two parts, but RUclips later allowed me to create longer videos, so this video is Parts 1 & 2 combined.
A few RUclips friends had mentioned that the audio of my videos were too soft, so I researched RUclips to correct the audio, and it was a learning experience.
This is the complete version of my Peace Lily Care & Propagation Video.
I will demonstrate by re-potting a Peace Lily, Propagate another Peace Lily by division, refresh the soil of another Peace Lily, and over-pot a small Peace Lily to encourage it to grow large enough to display in the house.
Peace Lilies are good indoor house plants that can tolerate low light, but they thrive in bright indirect light. Peace Lilies are forgiving as far as watering. Peace Lilies are rated among the best plant air-purifiers by NASA Scientists.

I didn't like these plants when I first saw them at the malls, but I discovered that they are good natural air purifiers and they grow well in low light. The ease of care and the knowledge that they are helping to make my in door air cleaner makes me feel satisfied. I love this plant and it's still growing strong. All the peace lily cultivars are nice. What make them good house plants is that they are easy to grow, but they are one of the best air purifiers.

These were my favorite plants, but I had been so successful in propagating them, that I am no longer as gentle as before. To save water, I just separate them the best I can, and then with firm and steady pressure, I pull them apart. Even the pieces that fall out seem to grow.
I haven’t been on RUclips for quite some time. It’s been a challenging year and I had to tend to family.

Are you in Hawaii! Teens are much more difficult than I remember being. I don't know how my parents and grandparents were so calm.
My grandson rebelled completely and rather lay next to his girlfriend all day texting on their phones. They don't even talk to each other. Her parents and aunts are treating us as in-laws... something I need to get used to.
I had a rough year with these grandkids, and only recently gotten back on RUclips for therapy.
The house is full of grandkids, and a psuedo-granddaughter in-law, as we wait for Douglas to hit land north of the island. They eat a lot, but I love having them here.

My peace lilies are doing well - these peace lilies are thriving, and I was going to make a video of me cleaning it up before taking it back into the house, as I rotate the one in the out to outside.
I think I have the small variety too. I was thinking of adjusting my soil recipe to hold onto moisture longer, because the smaller pots require more waterings.

I didn't like Peace Lilies prior to owning one, then I got a few, then I propagated more.
I got tired of my Chinese evergreens getting infested with mealy bugs, so I turned to the Peace Lilies, and they are great. I love their deep green leaves that seem to feather out from long stems. I haven't seen any parasites on this plant.
I hope your Peace lilies give you happiness. It's good to see green plants in the home AND it purifies the air.

Happy to report btw.... I didn't dare split my Peace lilly in too lol, but I did cut back the damaged leaves and repotted it this week and so excited I'm getting my very first white flower of this Spring season so there's hope. I just discovered your RUclips. I have a couple of peace lilies and want to repot one of them. I like the way you explain what you are doing for and to the plants and also about your grandchildren. Yes planting and watching plants grow is really therapeutic and helps one appreciate plant life. I am in Australia and we are into spring but the heat is like summer so l need to make sure my plants are not in direct sun. Thank you for your informative video.
