I just found my dream machine. A 1969 Honda 90 with 417 total miles, original tire, 1969 license plate. decals, and not scratch on it. Started on the first try. I am 75 and feel like 14 again. I wish it was red though instead of yellow.
Thank you, I appreciate that! I have not had a chance to try the new CT125 but love the look of them. That’s what it’s all about, keeping them alive and around for generations to come!
I ended up taking them off and putting some more street friendly tires on it. I think I still have the knobby ones in the shop. I will check what they are and let you know.
I have shinko 244 17x3.0 tires waiting to be installed. Might need fender mods to avoid rubbing. 17x2.75 is a great size if you dont wanna worry about fitment.
@@habitmotothey definetly sell if everything is in working order and operational shape. I bet theres trails out there that sold for 3500 to 50 different people 😂 dmv raking in the sales taxes
No, I rarely get titles with my bikes. Doesn’t seem to be as common in NC as it is in other states for these older small cc bikes to still have valid titles.
@@azorianification Yes, you could do the Vermont loophole. My state makes its complicated with a Notarized BOS, DMV theft inspection and a 3 year bond and other paper work before you can even apply for a title.
Interesting question. I would say getting a bike that needs a little work for a price that allows me to put some time and money into it and then resell to someone for what they consider a good deal. Allowing me to make a little on top to cover my time and effort. Hope that makes sense.

That’s awesome, congratulations. Such a fun bike
Bought a 74 ct 90 few months ago, been riding motorcycles my whole life and the 90 is the funnest bike ever.
Oh yeah, they are such a good time. Those CT90 are some of the most practical bikes you can buy.
that is a sweet bike
It cleaned up really well. They are great all purpose bikes.
@@habitmotoI have a 1974 st90 honda and looking for a original carb.anyway to help get one.thanks
Nice find. I just found an orange trail 90. I’ll have to do an overview video as well
Oh sweet, you definitely should! They are great all purpose bikes.
Great job on it. Just bought my CT125, love seeing people save the old CT90’s for future generations and riding.

What knobby tires are on that? I also have a 1970. I'm having a hard time finding a correctly sized knobbys in 17". Thanks.

It feels like 500 with no title is the right price. I’m shocked at how many are listed at 2-3k.
Yeah, I see them priced high but they don't seem to sell.

Dont forget to check valve lash for power issue...and spark timing ..
Just picked up a 66 and 2 67 ct90 for a 100 bucks. Have not run in 30 plus years
Where are you located? I'm interested in the 1970.
The 1970 Honda trail 90 that is
Unfortunately, this bike has sold. I am in NC.
Did it come with a title?

Can you get a new title? I’ve had to do that in the past

the nibbi aftermarket carbs supposedly work well

What do you consider a score???

Sounds like it's rich on the fuel screw and the main needle is too low
Yep, had to do some adjusting on it. It finally got there.
Just do piranha 140 swap but keep it as a sleeper😊
Haha, that sound like a lot of fun! I have a 140 in a Z50 and it’s a lot to handle with such a small wheelbase.
How much did you pay for it?
I listed the price in the video.
Vermont title loophole is now gone....sigh.
I know, that's so unfortunate. It was such a great way to get these classics back titled and on the road.
How much is it?
It sold awhile back.
Thanks
Score!
It was a good one!
