DIY Vinyl on Wood

SIGN INSTRUCTIONS
Supplies:
Wood piece
Vinyl lettering
Stain and or acrylic paint (shade of brown)
Acrylic or chalk paint (shade of white)
Paint brush
Mod Podge
Scissors
Directions:
Water down paint or stain and put on wood with brush. Allow of dry.
Place full sheet of vinyl phrase on wood to check for placement. Cut out heart from the vinyl and rub onto wood following manufactures’ instructions.
Cover heart with Mod Podge and allow to dry.
Using a dry brush technique apply “white” paint over the vinyl heart and the area that will have all the lettering, not painting all the way to the edges will give a more rustic look (optional to water down paint to make more translucent). Allow to dry.
Center vinyl around the heart and rub in place following manufactures’ instructions.
Remove heart and the project is complete.
