    I cannot deny, I feared testers until recently. I love me some vintage and now I realise that, sometimes, the only way to get what I want is to grasp a tester.
    I really wish they had the caps though

    I have to admit that not receiving the full presentation is disappointing but the savings can be worth it!

    I have a question - when the fragrance went really bad or ended up being unusable, how do you dispose the unusable fragrance safely without harming the enviroment? I know that the fragrance are considered hazardous and a best way to dispose the unusable fragrance is going to the eco-center where you can dispose the hazardous materials safely without harming the enviroment.
    By the way, I enjoy the basic fragrance video series. Hope that you continue more of this series!

    The last tester I purchased was Nishane Ani last week. I got a great deal. I have quite a few in my collection. I'm lucky because mine have all come with caps. Some say tester under the bottle, others don't even mention it. It's a great way to save.

    Good video,I always wondered if they make them stronger than the actual mass produced ones to reel you in.

      That seems to be an urban myth. I hear some people say that, but I've never experienced that.

    Aby good sources for tester bottles? European too?

  • @BNOVA

    If there is like a $10 or greater difference I buy testers of course unless I really wanted the original box. Also I tend to want the caps for my fragrances, so I usually pass on testers if they don't have the cap.

    • @steveb8269
      @steveb8269 3 года назад +1

      Yeah, of course, I've bought lots of them, but you have to find a legit seller first, all my Guerlain's are tester bottles

    The main time I avoid testers is when I want to be 100% sure that I'll get the fancy top to go with a particularly unique bottle 👍

    One of the places I by fragrances from sells testers and they will fill up atomizers for 10% of the cost of the bottle.

    I feel that testers have more of an alcohol smell at first and does not last as long. Maybe its just me but what do u all think?

    If I buy 100ml tester will I receive 100ml or maybe less because it has been used as a tester somewhere

    • @FragranceBros
      @FragranceBros  2 года назад +1

      No, it will be completely full (unless you buy it used). Testers are just called that because they could potentially be used as testers on counters, but if you buy one, it will be new and full.

    I've seen people that actually think its a conspiracy, like the scent inside is somehow different in order to deceive the consumer 🙄 good grief people, does that actually sound logical? No they make an entirely separate formula that just goes into a tester bottle 😂🤣😂🤣 imagine.

    Man, you should've clarified what tester are NOT! Can't tell you the number of times people told me the juice in a tester is of a higher concentration!!!
