A little tip for FragranceNet, I've found that if you google 'FragranceNet 35% off discount code', I can always find a valid 35% off discount code in one of the first links I click on. I know they like to vary their discounts, and the highest I've seen is 35%, so I never have less than that off on a purchase through them. :)

I had that issue when asking to purchase testers at a couple stores here in Canada. The managers were nice about it, but flat out refused. They were rare, discontinued bottles too, that I spotted when they opened a few drawers. 😉

I have seen Gucci Memoire d'un Odeur at Ross down in San Diego. I accidentally grabbed and bought the shower gel because the labeling on the box is quite small, but the next time I went, there was a bottle there for $40. You might have to check a few different stores and maybe even BART over to the EB... Good luck. Love your vids!

Yes. Make sure you use your trusted credit card with a good and easy dispute process. Amex does hold the amount immediately once you call them so it does not accrue interest. I had a good one with Paypal as well but it’s a hit and miss sometimes.

Amaerican Express is the best when it comes to disputing claims. A very good card to have especially when you are a person that shops overseas

AMEX isn't accepted in a TON of locations overseas. It wasn't accepted in about 90% of the places we went across Italy, Spain, in Amsterdam & more.
Make sure you have a Visa and/or MasterCard while travelling abroad.

Google is definitely your best friend when it comes to searching for a specific fragrance. I’ve bought on HSN and QVC also as they have great deals on unique sets.

Yes, buyers are scammers too on E-bay, so glad you mentioned it. Same thing happened to me as a seller on eBay. I tend to do blind buys for my fragrances, and I never sell fake anything; however the buyer will claim it’s fake, E-bay will refund them, and buyer is not obligated to return item back to seller. So, the buyer ends up with merchandise and money back.
I hate scammers so much and I have had my fair share of them. So I am very cautious if and when I decide to sell anything! :)
I will never deal with eBay or PayPal again. As a seller, I can confirm both platforms are a scammer’s paradise.
I kept having issues with buyers scamming and couldn’t keep taking losses. One of the last cases I dealt with, the amount got sent to collections. When I went to check for evidence to take it to small claims court, turns out eBay deleted all the message history and the evidence of the case!
I know how their systems work. If a user is suspended or anything of that nature, it still retains message history, return cases, etc. in this case, it was completely gone! Never deal with those shady companies!
I buy discounted fragrances and ship to family in the states and they bring to me when they come to my country. Excellent info btw.

I've bought watches from Jomashop before, but never fragrances. Because of your mention, I gave them a try this week because they had a ridiculous good price on Aventus Cologne. I shall see if I'm pleased with the quality of my purchase. Great video Sebastian!

Bought Eccentric Molecule 2 from Walmart and it was very strong smell of alcohol and then fragrance which didn’t last more than 15 min. Than I read that they are not responsible for authenticity

I purchased from Frangancex and the fragrance they sent was expired, as I'm quite familiar with the scent but have always purchased it from retail stores which was costly. They did offer me a refund but as I'm from Australia, it would have cost me alot just to send it back and Frangancex does not cover postage fee. I felt very ripped off but will try FranganceNet and Maxaroma next.
They all sell expired. . That’s why it’s cheap

I am getting into selling perfumes , currently I list them on eBay but would move to Amazon and Walmart as well as Shopify as well. I am looking into some thing long term and I get that these are not the long term solution as they charge a lot of fee so it’s harder to make any profits . What do you suggest should I do to make my customer happy as well as sell a lot more and pay less in fee etc .

I agree on the very slow shipping from fragrancenet. I live very close to your location in California. It seems to take about 2 weeks for me.
They’re in NY and I’m in CT and it still takes them up to a week or more to ship to me.
My issue/worry has always been getting very old stock from a liquidation source. I don’t want a frag that’s been sitting in a hot warehouse after sitting in the back of a retail store. My wife is the cosmetic department manager for Neiman Marcus. Most all frags have a shelf life. Tom Ford and Creed is 5 years
I know people that are out here buying 50 year old perfumes peoples grandmothers wore and they smell good…..

Don't go with sub scentbox if you live in canada. Paid for two months, received squat. It's one day into having to pay for my third month and still have received nothing. They constantly give you a run around. Just canceled. Very disappointed and pissed off.
I’ve only ordered from fragrancenet once and it was some perfume called cool waters? Either I really didn’t like it or it wasn’t authentic because it smelled like straight up alcohol, so idk I’m really nervous to try it again though I want to because I really want to buy a bottle of Tardes

For us Canadians, FragranceX and FragranceNet seem to be the ones offering best selection, prices and shipping. I’ve bought 75% of my collection from them.
For me ebay is cheaper by 10-20$ per bottle than those so I rarely use them.
Try British discounts for nich fragrance
Fragrancenet uses FedEx which is why they're slow, but I still get my orders in 2 days. But I live within 3 hours of their warehouse, so if you're farther it may take way longer.
The reason they are so slow because they usually ship the package 4 5 days after the order was placed. Placed a dozen orders sofar so i'm not making this up.

Fedex is awful. My package travelled hundreds of miles to a facility in the next town only to be rerouted another 100 miles north to LA where it sat for an extra 2 days before making it's way back down to me. 🙄

I’ve been ordering from Scentsplit for a while,& they have NEVER done me wrong! They are pricey, but I trust them 1000% more for decants than say Ebay/Amazon/Mercari

I loved fragranceX before but too many items are out of stock in these days.
Also be very careful of FRAGRANCEX as they often use pictures of vintage or hard to find bottles but just send new versions. And if something goes wrong...yow their customer service is the WORST!!!
