Got to love an old car junk yard tour! And I didn't have to leave my easy chair. Y'all made it fun.
Glad you liked it, Gary. It was fun touring this place.
Ranchero’s are cool too
What a lovely place, very nice classic too good job guys.
These junkyard tours are interesting, but they also make me sad. I hate to see so many good-looking, old vehicles abandoned and left to rot. I hope at least some of them get purchased and restored.
You are right I am loving it, it's cool to see all these classes. It brings me back to the fifties and sixties when I was growing up.
Thanks for the tour
Cool cars and trucks on that property! Yes, I would like to see that International truck run. Thanks for the tour of the awesome vehicles that will be up for auction!
You're welcome. That truck is #1 on the list.
Thanks for the tour Richard very neat old cars and trucks there. I wish I was in Tennessee to Walk through there haha.
Your welcome. Glad you liked the tour.
Well, since this is going to be an online auction, all I can say is that I wish them the best of luck.
I am a Fox Mustang aficionado, and that brown Mustang is an 83 or 84. The 79-82 have a wide front grill. The 83 and 84 have a narrow front grill. And the 85 and 86 have a single slot grill. I don't really care about the 87-93 as they are fuel injected, but they have a closed grill and get air from the air dam. I believe the fox platforms are the best Mustang made since they are so versatile. I still have mine, a 1980 I bought 30 years ago and is now a project that will be on my channel eventually, probably after my 65 Thunderbird. I'm putting a T Top roof on my Mustang and going for the extremely rare options which include door handles at the bottom of the doors instead of the top. Just absolutely love these cars.
You're full of knowledge. Love it! Maybe one day I'll get to that level. Thanks again.
You was talking about buses all saying Wayne on them brings back memories! I worked at Wayne works in Richmond Indiana building bused just before the went out of business. I was really young back then lol!
Right on. All the buses in my area growing up were Wayne. As a kid I would look at the badge and wonder where Wayne bodies were made.
i would like to se that old ih pickup run looks like a 66 or 67. that beast ford pickup with the 428 would be a good one or that 1968 fairlane that christina saw. i take it that place is quite "fordified". !! awesome find that old place is.
Definitely do a will it run on the International, if you can. That's an awesome truck! Lots of great cars and trucks in that collection!! Thanks so much for sharing, Richard and Christina! 😎
Thanks David. That truck will be #1 on the list!
The mid 60's Thunderbirds are easy to tell apart. The 64 has Thunderbird written on the front of the hood. The 65 has the bird on the front of the hood, and the 66 has a pointed hood scoop. Mines a 65.
Thank you! I'll remember that next time. Appreciate you watching 😊
Great video. No telling how many interesting things are buried. I hope the auction company takes the time to clean up and fully evaluate what’s there. I look forward to some Will It Run videos from the collection.
I agree. Once the vegetation dies down a lot more is going to be found. More videos on the way.
Yeah, Richard and Christina, do a will it run on the International truck! Cheers!😀🔧🛠️
"junkyard"... heavy emphasis on the JUNK part, LOL
Pretty much everything I've seen there is either relegated to being a parts car or crusher fadder. Truly sad.
That Massey Ferguson combine reminds me of the gleaner combines back then
Really enjoyed the video real interesting liked all the Ford pickups till next time I'll be watching for your next video thank you
You should pack an ice scraper to scrape off the windows so that you can see inside
That Ford (4) dr complete is got your name on it to restore. Great video of the back in time. Hop you show us the auction and how they pull them out.
Be well Richard, you are the man to watch
I will be there for the auction for sure!
Raspberry moonshine.😂❤❤
Actually, certain trees in Tn take very little time grow from one inch round expanding out to 3 inches and mote in less than four months with frequent hard rains.
I promise the Maverick has vinyl seats, not leather.
@dandunlap8638 I was thinking the same thing. LOL
Looked like a pretty complete car though. 😢
It’s cool and it’s a shame so many of those cars have melted into the earth. I suspect many of them won’t even bring scrap value.
Another great video! So many opportunities for projects
Hey, Richard, great video of this place. Tons of great old vehicles. Hope to see some of them running! Cheers!😀👍🔧🛠️
Thanks Billy! We hope to have some success there.
Do a "will-it-run" on one of these cars / trucks!
There are about 7 cars we'd like to take a try at! Thanks for watching and commenting ❤
A Ford man's paradise...
Like to see you get that 68 ltd out of there.
Christina loves that car.
Wrong time of year to be clearing that place but I guess with the right equipment it doesnt matter too much
Hey Richard an Christine. I watch ur video as they come out weekly, I like finding rusted gold also, I've been watching for over 2 years now. From S. Texas it's HOT over here. 😅
Thank you for the long-time support, Oscar. I lived in Texas a few years back. It is crazy hot.
Thanks Richard and Christina great video it was awesome to see all the car's and truck's I liked that old 63 Galaxy will it start thanks guys
Love those old Binder trucks (International)
This is a beautiful property and huge! This will be a very challenging undertaking. In my opinion most of this stuff is for parts or scrap. Not a lot to restore.
Guys...how about the T-bird, the black one
I'd like to see one of the Torinos and the 428 white F-150 run! Keeping with the Ford theme of the yard....
Got it. Thanks for the feedback.
My uncle bought me my first car, and it was the 4 door gran Torino that same green .I miss that car. It had the 351 Windsor, if I remember right . That was 1988 or 89
Yes you should do the international that would be really cool and you need to look into a magic creeper
I saw that Thunderbird Landau. A rare car ripe for a restoration
Was that the one with the rusted roof? In its day, that was a nice car.
Looks like all the good stuff is gone, or picked over, nothing but junked out hulks and farm scrap, the guy on the cart seems to think he has some rare stuff, best to send in the mobile crusher.
just a garter snake wont hurt anyone The Buick wagon is the coolest thing there, save it and will it run it. IH is cool too
U should pick up that white 68 69 ford torino fastback the one by that convertible cougar nd 70 torino
it simply amazes me these people with all these cars and trucks-what was the intention? selling like now? yard art-there is sooo much plus other stuff-collecting unbelievable -good job guys on this!!!
It was an operating junkyard for decades. I agree that it would have been better to sell of years ago.
Richard i would love to see you try to get one the thunderbirds started i love your channel
Thanks!
Thank you so much Terry!
There are quite a few good candidates but that little international pickup is my favorite of the bunch if that means anything? And the buick wagon is a close 2nd! Lol.. ✌️
Yes the Lincoln mark 5 could be fun to see an episode of 🙏
That Lincoln is an interesting idea that I had not considered. Next time I am there, I will check on it.
@@whattherust i have written on Facebook/messenger to you 🙂
Hippodrome Ford became Hippodrome Oldsmobile on Broadway in downtown Nashville. They had been selling Fords since the days of the Model T but switched to an Oldsmobile franchise in 1964. When I was in college near Nashville in the early 1990s, they still had their old neon HIPPODROME OLDS sign lit up every night. Sadly, the dealership building is gone now and, I believe, a Fresh Market stands there now.
I vote for the I-H pickup for the “will it run”!
That is good info, Brian. Sad to hear the dealership is gone, but not surprising. Nashville has grown tremendously. Thanks for the vote. That truck is #1 on the list!
The Buick wagon is called "vista cruiser"
Hi yall from west Alabama hugsss
Wow so many late 70's Ford pickup trucks😮. Those with round headlights are my favorite from Ford. I wish we had those here in Europe. Other cool cars too, the Torino is a cool car.
The lot is quite overgrown and it will require lots of cutting to be able to extract everything. Who knows how many good parts are just left randomly and are covered in vegetation.
I love all the old Ford trucks. I wish that I could buy them all.
The model T is the basis for the legendary T Bucket of the 1960s
Amazing all the ford trucks. I think you should try to run the Lincoln Mark or the International pickup truck. The video was very enjoyable 👍👍
Thanks for the feedback. That Lincoln is an interesting idea that I had not considered.
Looks like the majority of the stuff there is ready for the crusher
Definitely the international truck for a will it run
It is on the list. Thanks for the feedback, Robert.
Unbeleivable richard another nice junkyard
Thanks Robert. Lots of good stuff in here.
I would drag as many of those Ford trucks to my house as my wide would allow. I get them all if I could lol
That is how I feel when walking around this place.
Christina should get that '68 galaxy. Cool car. Luv those Torinos as well! And Richard..You have to get that 63- 1/2 galaxy.
Stepside, international, so cool, get it running, please
You didn't show the Maverick with the manual transmission. Great video.
That Maverick is toward the beginning of the video. Christina shows it. The footage I took of it got corrupted.
Torino is '73 and is a grand Torino
That 62 T-Bird. Probably has a 390 in it. Those old trees. Will change a car in a heartbeat. You can even get a backhoe. Christina and Richard this is a honey hole of old Fords.I do think the International would be a great will it run. Thank you Richard and Christina 💯💕👊👍
You're welcome Terry. True, this is Ford trick paradise, and there are lots of good Ford cars too.
Love all the fords!, darn shame they were stored outside to rust out, I bleed blue, Love urs guys show, u do a great job you two!
This place is Ford truck paradise.
1: 07: 27 Harmless Checkerd Garter Snake.
I had to ask my nephew about this one. He's a certified professional snake man.
Good to know. Thank you.
Definitely would like to see that International Harvester running. They weren’t very quick but they would always start and run. This looks like the place Torinos come to die. Thanks for bringing us along.👍👍🇨🇦
Wow, it looks as if one is looking for an old fixer upper Ford Pick Up, this place will the place to come during the auction.
Agreed. They are everywhere.
Yeah dude, do a "will it run" on the International truck.
Yeah that black Cuda that was under that lean two!!
I liked the International Dad's last Pickup was a Red International but not the step side which i like a lot. Yeah you should do it if you can. Did you here the door shut on the Volvo just like brand new. they are very strong cars. Put a Chevy Small Block in it and drive it forever. Owned Volvos since the late 70s. Best safest Cars. Thanks for sharing the trip. Dennis
You're welcome Dennis. Apparently that Volvo ran when it was put in the yard. I hope someone ends up with it.
Ford lover obviously
I'd like to see y'all get one of the Mustangs toward the end running. 😁
Great finds, I seen two you should definitely grab if possible. The red Thunderbird with suicide doors, it has a 428 cu.in. Rare hard to get engine. And two the 1968 Ford pickup really nice body and it has s nice looking 428 cu.in engine also. Not often you stumble upon a 428 these days but find two at the same place. Very sought after motors so maybe those go kinda high but maybe not too high. These engines birthed the cobra jet
With 335 hp, the potent 428 CJ offered a huge leap in power over the smaller 390-cube V8, which was the top Mustang engine for 1967.
Right on. I have my eye on that 428 Ford pickup. Christina wants the Thunderbird, but I think the price will be much too high.
holy smokes richard and christina i just started watching the video that white maverik that maverik grabber around 1970 - 71 what a gold mine
Not a Grabber, the heavy bumpers make it about 75 and later.
Yea Richard Incredible Junk Yard Art Everywhere! SO MANY Classics WOW!! That Late 60's White Comet Fairlane Needs SAVED! Great Revival & Yea That International Pickup Revival FOR SURE!🤗👍
He Says It's Got The 289 Factory AC In It!!💸🤑
That White Comet is The 1st 1965 Caliente With Double Stacked Headlights! Amazing!!@👌👍
I believe the yard owner said that white Comet was running when it was put there.
Work on the Buick wagon!
4 Doors are crew cabs. I like them too
Right, and there are a few in there. That red 1980 is worth saving.
I would love to see a will it run on the International Pickup.
Wow Mates A Feast Of Cool Fords i did own that model Volvo they are a 6 Solid Reliable Car Lots Of will it Start There The International The Galaxie The OL Chev Pickup
Richard junkyard digs RUclips channel has older videos of the 65 Ford f250 352fe v8 column shift 3spd manual transmission cost cab Kevin and Luke thunderhead 289 saved abandoned on a old run down total farm it was back in the woods but it is definitely one of those trucks id like to have
We got to meet Kevin on Power Tour. Great guy! Thanks for watching and commenting ❤
That Falcon is actually a Fairlane four door
I wouldn't be walking in the brush.
Great junkyard! I vote for the International truck to get a new lease on life. 👍
Right on.
63 galaxies, 64 totally different body style.
Rust NEVER Sleeps!
As Neil Young would say !
Colorado.
Yeah that was cool, most auctions I've been watching have the crusher man on standby and bidding starts at 250. Wondering if that crew cab bullnose has the holes drilled in the frame. Saw one tho that had some '58 chev convertibles that were going north of 50k so should be interesting.
I like that crew cab. It must be very rare. I think Ford stopped the frame holes in 82. I have an 84 and it does not have them.
So I'm a car guy at heart, but also it started as just exercise for a medical issue but now a hobby - addiction and its Metal detecting and that leads to my question - Do You ever find any old silver coins or any old silver or gold rings while cleaning in these old cars mainly from the 30's-40's-50's or 60's ? Just a curious guy.
We do find coins often, but so far nothing valuable.
81 mustang.
I wanna Elcamino any year
if any of those dentside supercabs have engines, i would love to see more of those
I'll check on that next time I am there.
I would like to see you get the 63 galaxy running ! you liked that ,so did i
Right on Brent.
I kind of wish I had a billion dollars to take all that and fix it up.
How the devil you going to have a online auction for some thing you can’t see. They all scrap value and less. Send um to the crusher. Day late Dollar short.
👍
The 2 door maverick with manual transmission is probably a 1970 the 4 door maverick was started about 1973 I have had several in my lifetime and would like to have another one at some point
Has the heavy gov't mandated bumpers, appears to be a 75 and later.
I am inclined to say that, if there are plans to clear the land before the auction, whoever is in charge of that best get busy cuz there is a LOT of work ahead to do !
😉
Be careful of snakes and ticks. Ask me how I know 😜🤪
Any wagons
If somebody tells you there are no snakes in a jungle, think about that!
Right, we ended up seeing two, so there were certainly more than that!
International & the Thunderbird would be cool to see brought to life if possible.
They are now on the list!
Even with all the cats. I would be scared of Snakes.
Maybe I just didn't see them but I really didn't see much worth messing with. Many were so far gone they can't be restored or they are four door cars.
