Honestly? I think that is the best golf video I’ve ever seen, and my God I’ve seen an awful lot. Haven’t we all?! I’m sure this is an eye opening revelation to 95% of us.
Absolute credit to Claude for doing this. His focus and single mindedness to have Rick concentrate on what he is saying is one of the things that makes him the coach he is - no deviation, even when his Dad was walking past!
Full credit to you Rick for putting yourself in such a vulnerable place for us all to see. The way you took it all on board and came out at the other end to fix your swing issues says a lot about who you are.
    Brilliant watch.

Yeah, thinking the same, gives us good thought/practice tips. I’m sure it’s a win for Harmon too who has all that expensive tech setup to give great bio data. Totally agree. This also shows how import this pressure mat is. Golf swing happens in matter of seconds and even though the coach is filming you on the phone, how likely is it that he would spot this very minor "wrong" weight shift?

And just to think most golfers (me included) think the game is hitting the ball with a stick. We know the game is technical because basically its body physics but when you see a professional instructor relaying the information to a qualified professional who with all respect Rick looked partially lost at intervals it tells you something. This game we all love is more than a stick, swing ball, its a bloody hard hobby to have and which I have been telling non golfers for some 30 years. But yet when it is explained it does make sense. Great video as was the BF putting lesson. I always tell starters, get yourself lessons and keep them going. My instructors were tour pros playing on the telly and trying to imitate their swings.

Unbelievable video Rick thanks for bringing us along a lesson with such an intelligent coach. He so clearly gets the swing and how to translate it to the average player. One question I had is when he says you have a more lateral swing rather than rotational. But then he says try to feel like you’re moving all the way to your left on the downswing. Is he saying left relative to the target or relative to where you’re facing at setup? Wouldn’t trying to get all the way to your left somewhat promote that lateral movement he’s trying to get rid of? I have the same problem and want to make sure I’m looking for the right feel before compounding the problem. Thanks to anyone who has insight on this!

Great video. That is one of the things I have had issues with since having both hips replaced. Claude's work with you gives me an outline of how to do this work and get my weight transfer back in line.

Outstanding video and I love the drills. Those are some of the same things I struggle with so those drills are great and will be incorporated into my practice routine. Thank you Claude for taking the time to do the video and interview with Rick. Keep up the great work Rick!

What's great about this is that Rick and all of us can re-watch this and keep practicing

OMG... fantastic advice. Back 25 yrs ago a pro told me always feel like you're walking through your shot. Hit forward... move forward.
