There's a No Laying Up video with Greg & 3 of the ranging from low to kid-high hcp. Fascinating stuff. This is also excellent. That squat jump turn using left foot seems such a good drill.

WOW!! I’m a lifelong early extender with incredibly tight hamstrings. I’ve tried so many different drills trying to cure my early extension, but I’ve never seen a club put down with that simple angle coupled with standing closer to the ball. I watched the video last night before bed and was jumping/turning/practice swinging until midnight…I couldn’t wait to get up and go to the range despite all the snow on the ground. The course was of course closed, but I found a few patches of melted snow and hit five irons like I’ve never hit them before, the feeling was unreal.! They were launching like a flighted 9 iron and just kept going… absolutely insane! I did not want to leave…I kept finding more balls and hit until it was pitch black with just a 5 iron! Crazy how seeing an angle and an explanation can make something click after 35+ years of playing golf near scratch.
Huge thanks to you, Iona, and Greg for making this video! I have family in San Diego and frequently visit…definitely going to try booking a visit! If possible, it’d amazing to see the prescribed workout.
    Cheers,
    Matthew

Only 10 minutes in and just wanted to thank you for being vulnerable enough to share your assessment in front of the world - really eye opening and insightful - GREAT video! Hope it helps you with your future playing goals. Best of luck Iona! I've got to edit my comment and put a shoutout for Dr. Greg Rose as well - So great to see someone who loves what they do - his passion shows! I remember watching him on The Golf Channel over 20+ years ago - didn't give it the attention I should have, but now this hits home so much more as I get older.

Every time TPI makes a video on their own or with a collaborator, I watch it and leave impressed on the ability of the “body / swing whisperer” Dr Greg Rose can analyze what the root cause of how people swing. But unfortunately it’s typically 20-40 mins.
This was by far the best TPI video I ever watched - the process of assessment, the level of detail at every step, the breaking down of the cause / effects, mind blown. And again Dr Rose has the innate ability to make people comfortable after revealing the issues, and the support / guidance to resolve them.
In my comments on these TPI videos, I always say something like “ bucket list, need to go..”. Seeing the whole ed-to-end analysis and process reaffirms i need to make this happen.
Great long form video Iona. You’ve done something a lot of us golf geeks wanted to see or do for a long time. Love to see the progress you’ve made down the road.

I don't think I've been as fascinated and absolutely hooked on a golf video ever, never mind one that is almost 2hrs long! Completely riveting from start to finish. And your ability to immediately translate the pointers into your swing was incredible. It was brilliant to see the sheer joy you were taking from the process and and how it was immediately affecting your game.
Absolutely brilliant video. And what a fantastic advertisement for TPI and Dr. Rose. It might be too late for me but I would be seriously interested in what it would do for a 60 year old.

Iona, I got back into golf a year and a half ago after 20 odd years, mainly due to catching the bug from you and the other tubers like Tubes and Ange, Rick, Finchy and Fryer etc., but also as a rehab from some major knee surgery. I had a terrific physio that put me through some tough rehabilitation, and I recognise some of the stuff from this video on balance and equalising muscle strength from side to side.
This was quite a long video but I’ve watched it end to end in one go and will send it to my physio as I’m sure she’ll find it as interesting as I have.
Absolutely the best content I have seen since I started watching golf content, what a fantastic set up Titleist have, maybe we will see you in open qualy and doing better than the boys have in 2024!!

We definitely need a follow up video to see how the plan they set you has worked out.

One of the best golf swing related educational videos I’ve seen on RUclips. Betting most golfer’s swing issues are related to physical issues.
Dr Rose, what a genius and gentleman. Thanks for sharing Iona. Best wishes on your journey. Keep us posted..Please. 👍

    Ioana,
for me this is the best video regarding fitness and golf technique. Dr. Greg Rose explains it like a storyteller - it was entertaining to watch and a lot to learn. Thank you for sharing this video with us

What an awesome video. I can't remember watching a golf vlog and feeling like I was part of a cross between a top secret experiment, a health consultation, and a golf masterclass. Wow! Keep doing these videos Iona. Thanks.

This was as good as doing the session myself, very similar swing issues. The club on the floor from right toes to left heel was absolute gold, a real light bulb moment and the stretches also. Thanks for sharing Iona!

Wow, I’ve been searching for years for such a video on early extension. Have managed to grind it out, but it always comes back. Now I feel like I have a better understanding on the causes. Thanks Iona!!! You’re a star!

Thanks so much to Dr Greg and Titleist for allowing the full video. I'm sure a lot of it is proprietary and developed over decades of instruction so for them to freely allow it to be shown in an uncut version is amazing. I just wish i could get the same anount of time with Dr Greg.

Iona this is absolutely the best and most in depth video on RUclips. He is a wizard but the way you adjusted so quickly to everything that was put forward. Phenomenal video Iona. Well done team!

First time watching as I heard you say on Instagram about TPI
I'm blown away because playing golf 47 years (38) in cat 1 and I too suffer from early extension.
My left hip , glutes and hamstrings are the problem, those exercises you were given would probably suit me, thanks Iona 😊

What a fascinating video. I initially thought I’d give it 5 minutes…. 1 hour 50 minutes later…. Thank you Iona for this insight and looking forward to seeing how this changes your game. Keep us updated and how this takes the strain from your wrist.

This was amazing. I felt like I was listening to Bryson DeChambeu's mind talking. Really interesting hearing Greg talk about this stuff.
