I can’t begin to tell you how much positive difference you have made in my golf game. I have been a subscriber of yours for years and always enjoy your videos. I am currently 76 and in 2020 I had a stroke that mildly affected my left side. I was still able to play but not as well as before the stroke. Prior to the stroke I was a 18 handicap and after more of a 24 to 26. I was still having fun, then in 2021 I started having left knee pain which resulted in a complete knee replacement in march of this year. I was not able to play prior to the replacement for almost 2 years and when I was able to start hitting on the range the feeling was as if I had never swung a golf club before. My timing was gone. But after watching a few of your videos something clicked and I started making contact again. Now after almost 50 years of playing golf I am starting over with lessons from my local course pro. I don’t expect to join the tour anytime soon but now I feel positive about playing again. Thank you. Next time you come to Arizona I hope to get to see you in person.

Solid step by step tips. I'm improving a lot now... the slight modification I use to help my upper-body weight transfer to the left side is having one swing thought of locking my left shoulder in place (kinda like a post up) and staying conscious of not leaving or pushing off my right (trail) foot. Boom 💥

Rick I've been a fan and subscriber since your daughter Ivy was born and love your journey, content and passion.
My son, a golfer with a 4 handicap, and a passion for golfs comes from a long line of golfers. His grandfather was an armature who played Pro Am Tournaments with friends PGA Pro
Doug Ford (PGA Championship & Masters Championship) and Jerry Barber (PGA Championship) and his uncle, Tom Sullivan Played on the Nike Tour in the day... I never got the golf bug
so, I'm a real hackier but enjoy a day out with my son.
My son, Ian just graduated from college with a business degree and just got his first fulltime job with PING America (Arizona) building clubs. He is a Mizuno Iron guy but now that's he's
building PING Clubs and testing clubs he is in love with the Blueprint S Irons. He wanted to start at the bottom with PING in manufacturing so he will know the product so he can sell the
product and is loving what he is seeing from the manufacturing level. As they (PING) guide his progress, He will move into customer service then PINGS fitting department, learning each
department at PING. As Ian says he has to learn everything about PING Products to promote/sell PING Products.
When my son Ian was 8 years of age, he first golf instructor was a European Pro sponsored by PING & personal friend of Karsten Solheim (PING Founder) In Phoenix Arizona. At the age
of 16, Ian got his first custom fitting for new clubs at PING Phoenix, and now he's working for PING. Talk about full circle.
He swears by the new PING Blueprint S Irons and he's scores seem to prove his commitment to them.
    Big Smile😊

I wish there was a video about the principles of a golf swing. In my experience, it seems like these things are more like "positive symptoms" that you see in your golf swing if you follow certain principles. So these forms are not consciously emulated, theyre just the natural result of swinging instinctually with an understanding of the final goal of a golf swing. Those would be solid contact, club face square on impact, etc. And dont forget jim furyk, matt wolff, and scottie schefler whose swings are unorthodox but they get the job done because they ultimately reach the same final result of solid contact with a square clubface. Another principle of a golf swing is to know where your center of balance should be throughout the swing. If you jnderstand that, then you just get the job done however your body can get it done.

One thing I would add in here; it’s not enough to make sure that the club face is facing the target. Once you swing the club, hold the club out straight in front of you and see where the club is facing and make sure it’s square. I lined up to the ball square but during my swing I was closing my club face and everything went left. Now all I do is open the club face so that it is facing more right, didn’t change a thing about my swing and now at impact the face is square with the target and I am a lot more consistent

  • @jamiesloan7259
    @jamiesloan7259 7 месяцев назад +1

Most amateurs just imagine the wrong intention, when trying to play golf. They either hit AT the ball, which makes you stall out the body, and basically throw the club head AT the ball. This also makes you too steep. Or… They try to hit the ball UP into the air. This makes you lean back on your trail foot, and never shift pressure to your lead side. It also moves the low point behind the ball, resulting in fats, and thins(catching it with the bottom of the club, as it’s going back up). The cure is…. imagine that you’re trying to hit the ball FORWARD. This is when you’ll start to apply “real” pressure into the back of the ball. The compression feels amazing! Give it a try….. Another good feel is to imagine that you’re trying to sling the club underhanded through a piece of drywall, about 10 feet in front of you. Your weight will naturally shift. You will naturally rotate in the correct sequence. And, you’ll naturally release the club later than you probably are at the moment. These 2 things changed my game forever. Good luck! 🍀

Really? Which video? Lol. I didn't see him making fun, but I don't disagree if he did. Golf Sidekick has wayyyy better course management, and if Rick played smarter like him, guarantee he'd shoot better scores. Rick constantly goes for longer clubs and it gets him in trouble all the time. He never learns 😂
Golf Sidekick is the man. As a 15 handicap, I was able to shoot an 82 one day. Which is unheard of. But that's the power of course management. All thanks to GS! 😊

    • @MonsterERB
      @MonsterERB 7 месяцев назад

@@fohrum4757 They are both great channels, I do agree sometimes Rick has some... questionable... course management decisions. I will say that a lot of GS suggestions are designed for mid- to high-handicappers and are great for folks trying to break 100 for the first time, trying to break 90, trying to break 85, et cetera. Rick is a low handicapper and naturally feels able to "go for it" in situations where a mid- to high-handicapper shouldn't. And, to get in before all the "LOL Rick's like a 10 HCP" comments, I just saw Rick shoot a -3 for 9 holes on Seb's channel, that could have been a -5 if a couple more 8-10 foot birdie putts had dropped. HCP is based off of the best 8 rounds out of your last 20... a 2 HCP will still shoot rounds of 79 or 81, but they have the ABILITY to shoot 70 or 73 as well.
Rick's mental approach and course management DO need work, and I'm sure he is aware of that. His videos don't always come out in chronological order, but I have seen more videos lately where he is more positive overall and doesn't destroy himself for the occasional loose shot.

I top 90% of my irons or Driver and the rest is a low huge hook, I actually miss the ball, or a huge beaver tail. Im soo embarassed. Its like thier is no connection between my mind and body/swing anymore. 😮 Im afraid that my golfing days are over as well as being able to enjoy other hobbys/sports Ive loved. I grew up to Tiger and one of the few that loved to just watch and didnt play. I just wish I could play golf again and be pain free. Now Im stuck with Mizuno irons, Sim Max driver , Vokey wedges, Vice Pro Plus balls, and cant hit anything. Seeing you break 75 series is only thing that keeps me from just selling it all and call it a day.

Hello hows your day? I want to share you
This is a message from your loving God.
God is a loving God and want to save us all.
God dont want anybody to suffer or have a hard life. Meaning of life is love and that's what God wants. Thats the meaning of life. If we would take care and love each other that would solve all the problems. But world is not like that. World is a sinful world. God dont destroy this world but we humans do. His immediately ready if you want to serve him. God will show you the right path what leads to life. Its a path of love. God made us and have eternal love and mercy. This world is not what God wanted. But he gave us free will. You can choose good or bad. Thats why he send he's only son Jesus that we had mercy. Jesus is God too because he is God's only son. Now this world have went to very wicked and our God is crying. So many peoples are on the path of destruction. World have allways been wicked but now is extremely bad times going on. God want's peoples to come back to serve him and he wants to give forever life and happiness. God is a God of love, mercy, justice and a judgment.
He love us peoples as much as hes son Jesus.
There is one big lie going on this world. Its an evolution lie. First please think this thing. Why all the fruits, berrys and vegetables taste so good? Anybody can go to own home kitchen and try to do the same taste. Then look up please and watch those extremely beautiful birds. Do you really believe birds came from dinosaurs? We need very light bones, right size, correct shape, a bird's beak and feathers. And the same time birds are very beautiful. I send only these two questions to evolution professor and nothing came back(Why berries taste so good and how those little birds survived without wings)
Then they say evolution gave animals camoflash to survive. Well if we look black panther. They say it's black because it's a night-time hunter and that black color also give it protection during night-time. First thing: evolution dont have brains and it gave that black color they say. Second thing: Please think how many shades of colors are and all animal have to be black.
Third thing: Then they say there were many panthers with another color also and the best color was left. Because it's the best color in the nigh time. This is a lie also because: if you think like evolutionist's: the animals system also have to know to do black anymore. Rabbit is also brown when it's a summer and white when it's a winter. We need intelligence to do that.
They say also evolution develops animals or Humans what kind of element we live. Why then fish have gills and whale have lungs? They say first came the first cell and that was finally a fish. And then finally fish came to land and it was frog or something.
But thats inpossible because gills should also transform to lungs under the water. They brake their own logic when they say that. And how about a whale. Whale proves also God is real because it have lungs. Theory of evolution tells everything started from ocean.
They also say that plants came from ocean and thats why we have now.
    Thats a lie because:
The plants have an underwater pollination system. If something comes to the beach it will die for it. And they are breaking their logic again. Fish and other water animals and plants belong to sea.
Only our loving God can create life and everything what we humans and animals need. People can try to think but the deeper we try to dig the more lost we are. We cant ever create life from nothing.
A simple car engine also needs its maker, parts, fuel and the right structure to work.
I had health problems about six years ago. Finally it was so bad i thought im gonna die. My heart was beating fast. My blood pressure was high. Then i started to lose my energy. When i try to walk my legs felt heavy and my stamina went very bad also. Then i started losing my sleep. Eventually i crashed a little into the road and asked God and Jesus to help. Finally I started to run in the toilet all the time too. Then the very awful thing came. I lost fastly almost all my ability to sleep and I started to loose my weight. Blood came out of my nose and I started to lost my hairs too. I visit hospitals and private hospitals too but they couldn't help me. They gave me beta blockers to my heart and finally medicine to my high blood pressure too. I wanted to get inside the hospital but they refused to take me in. In private hospitals they couldn't understand why they dont take me in the main hospital. Finally I contact to other country and I asked can you take me in the hospital. Then they asked where are you here? I told im in the other country and I need a help. But they told me we cant take you in because you dont live here. So I can tell you money didnt help me. Later I told my family im gonna die very soon because I felt completely awful. Finally I asked again God to help me. Then finally my Mother saw one Angel vision and three Jesus vision. After that it took few days and my health came back. I got my sleeping back and my heart started to calm down. I started to gain weight. Blood pressure went back to normal and finally I got all my hairs back. This Is very short version what happend to me but I was close to death. God Is real and loves us very much. When you begin to seek God you Will find True love. Read the Bible too please because its a perfect book. Thats how you know God Is real💕🙏. Read what Jesus told because its perfect talking💕🙏
