    Experiencing the death of a close friend or family member puts life into perspective. That grudge you had, the argument you had, the falling out you had, it’s irrelevant and insignificant when someone is dead. They’re gone forever. It’s sad that we as humans don’t appreciate what we have or had until it’s gone and we can’t get it back.

    In the last sit down with Kobe. Kobe just told him straight , that Shaq’s lack of work ethic when they played together is what really annoyed him. Kobe said if he put just a third of the effort he put into practice and dedication he did Shaq would have been the greatest player that ever played the game! Shaq just smiled and said Kobe was right, he was lazy compared to him and it is what it is. But you could tell Kobe was giving him a massive compliment. Saying “Shaq you were still great and you just didn’t work hard as you should have” and you could see the look on Kobe’s face meaning he could have been the greatest of all time!

      didnt you just hear the man? After playing career they barely ever saw each other last time was in 2017 in the sit down. They were not friends, I don't understand peoples obsession with forcing them to be bffs

      @20marvelman 2 года назад +1

      They just weren’t friends off the court, they clearly tried to be but they didn’t see eye to eye and Kobe had no problem with things being uncomfortable.

    Was devastated when I heard the news about Kobe Bryant had been killed. The Helicopter ended up in poor visibility and the pilot got disorientated and lost control.

    wait Shaq answered this question several times but each time the story is different. first, it was his nephew that told him and then his cousin, and now his son told him crying ... and now he is sitting on his couch, and in another interview, he said he was practicing with his son at his basketball court, and then he found out at gym... damn Shaq your story keeps changing how you found out about Kobe

    Shaq said at Kobe's memorial that he was in his home gum working out with his nephew and son and another kid came into the gym to show him his cell phone. Now Shaq says he was sitting in his living room when he hit the news. Shaq also said at the time he has not spoken to Kobe the last 4 months before his death.

    Pick up the phone. Call or text that one person you have avoided talking to in forever for whatever reason. Tell them you just wanted to say hi. Then leave the rest to play out on its own. If your reach out is well rcvd, then it was worth it and you were the bigger and better person. If it is rejected, you are still the bigger and better person.

    I remember seeing the crash show up on my phone that Sunday…..wanted so bad for it to be a hoax.
    Then I saw it flash across outlets like CNN, ABC, CBS, etc. It was a very depressing and sad Sunday to say the least.
