@@brightstonepictures I sure hope so. I was one of the fools who didn’t expect furiosa to be good (not big on Anya Taylor joy), but was absolutely blown away. Given the history of the series’ productions and the fact that Miller owns the “proven” franchise, I can’t imagine he wouldn’t make it. Every streaming service is looking for more content they know will sell at this point. Hopefully we’ll hear more news soon. Absolutely loved your short film btw!
@@brightstonepictures Hoffentlich wird sich auch George Miller den Film anschauen. Ich an seiner Stelle würde mich wahrscheinlich sehr freuen, dass andere die eigene Arbeit so schätzen und sich von ihr inspirieren lassen.
More "Furious" than ever, with more CGI, more big noses, more shiny chrome, less rusty metal and less practical effects. You won't miss the next "Furiosa" movie in the Furiosa saga. Coming soon, what everyone is asking for: the prequel of Mary Jabassa, Furiosa's mother, and then another prequel of another character loved by all Furiosa fans, the prequel of War Pup. Later, the prequel to Praetorian Jack, the deconstructed hero everyone wants to see. Forget about that lonely man who wanders the roads and who, wherever the path takes him, always ends up helping someone while he fights against his conscience for his past sins. Instead of making a movie of him, better of Furiosa! I have to tell you that the first time I saw Fury Road I knew it was one of the best action movies of all time. With its practical effects, coherence and logic in the story, great characters, costumes, epic music, and well-implemented and almost imperceptible special effects, it captivated me. Although it is noted that the main character's prominence was reduced, I cannot help but love and respect that film. Then, I saw the work of you, the fans who love and respect the Mad Max saga, and I was excited too. The quality that a fan-made film can achieve is impressive, but even more so is the love and respect for the Mad Max lore. Now, talking about Furiosa from the saga... does anyone remember who the original protagonist was? The same thing happened with the replacement of all the male heroes with their female versions, without taking into account what the majority of fans would have wanted to see. They missed that opportunity. They could have told Furiosa's story through a comic and decided to show the main protagonist's story in a comic, preferring to spend millions on making the female protagonist's movie. If it weren't for you, the fans who know the franchise and the lore, the main protagonist's comic would not have been given life. It is fans like you who are going to rescue the film industry. Thanks to your effort and talent, many successes. I hope the industry takes them into account for future projects in the saga.
Yes!!!! I can’t wait to watch this. I was hoping someone would interview Mark after Furiosa’s release
@@LorcanWard yes, we talked to him in the week after the release in cinemas and waited for today, when we reached the first milestone.
Amazing interview! Thanks for your film and doing this interview. I would love to see more talks with other creatives involved with Mad Max.
Great interview. Love your short film and is closest to The Wasteland we may get.
Wonderful interview, wonderful guys, wonderful short movie!
52:54 call me crazy, but I sense he’s already done some storyboarding :)
@@cabeskywalker4346 you are probably right 😉

@@Kurrentschrift wir werden euch wissen lassen, was George Miller über den Film denkt. Brendan McCarthy war ebenfalls beeindruckt.
This was from my tweet :)
With the blessing of George Miller you should go and make a short film that everyone wants to see. Just maybe Mel Gibson will appear. High Hopes
That would be a dream. But for that to happen, George has to watch it first
