Well, what to say about this piece of work. This is by far the biggest and most ambitious collaboration I've ever worked on. Like I said at the end of the video, I've been working on this cover since May, making this a 3-month long collaboration process. You can follow along with the arrangement with the full score in the description if you're interested! I could never have made something like this without enlisting the help of so many talented friends, please check em out and support their own creations!
This is the final track on Multiplayer II Co-Op, a FANTASTIC album of video game music covers made by over 50 musicians. Every track is a collaboration, and there are some other large ensembles like mine, including the Multiplayer Flamenco Band, and the Multiplayer Sinfonia. All proceeds go to Child's Play Charity. As you might be able to tell, this is my attempt at channeling some Snarky Puppy style arrangements, and it turned out awesome. Being a musician myself, albeit an amateur one, I can't help but always think of how much prep work goes into things like this. Contrary to popular belief, people can't generally play a song after having seen the music once. And something this expansive is even more difficult. I know this is three years old, but I have to congratulate you and everyone in here for not only playing the piece perfectly, but creating it! Even as a cover, it's hard work to adapt something, especially with how huge of a change from the simple theme of Dire Dire Docks into this masterpiece.

BRO DUDE, I HAD TO CHANGE MY PANTS TWICE DURING THIS SONG! This is easily the most ambitious cover of anything ever that I've ever heard and probably will hear for a very long time! So many familiar faces and so many familiar tones! The sound is massive, colorful and absolutely full of pure talent! There is so much going on I'm sure I'll have to watch this multiple times before I am able to catch all the little intricacies! This is a perfect final cover to the wonderful Multiplayer 2 album! Carlos has officially ascended to top tier VGM god... And we will forever praise him. Great arrangement man, and great playing from all of you! Looking forward to more!

I absolutely can't get enough of this arrangement, easily the best rendition of this song that I've ever heard and my favorite track on the album. I tried really hard not to spoil myself with this track until the video came out, because I knew that it was gonna absolutely knock my socks off. The live performers did such an amazing job, and they all fit together so well. This song, and the entirety of Multiplayer, is really a testament to why I love the VGM cover community so much, and why I'm happy to be a part of it, albeit in a very small way right now. Congratulations to everyone involved with this beautiful project!

I love it! You have some serious composition chops. Love the moog soloing and dual guitar solos, that quiet modulating chorus section, those bap bap bap baps, the call and responses, the halftime arrangement...you just filled this cover with ideas and variations, and made it really full of life. Definitely one of the best you've ever done.

To the drummer: That was a sick latin beat in the beginning, and the transitions to the other genres were stellar. Rock solid time keeping :)
To the Bassist: Holy crap, the amount of licks you put in this song is insane. I wish I were that good. All in a Latin-esque song. (For the uninitiated: Latin beats are probably the hardest type of genre to play, since they're all feel based, with a lot off off-beats) GG man, GG.
