(ORIGINAL VIDEO NOT MINE!)
I do a LOT of transcriptions in my free time to help me expand on my jazz improv knowledge and skills and so I figured, why not share some of them with others! This solo is one of my FAVS just because it shreds so well and really does a good job at fitting around the weird and very colorful harmony.
TIME TO LEARN IT ON PIANO!
Thanks for watching everyone!

I have no idea how I got this recommended, but amazing work, great solo. It really blows.. but in a good way.
Wow, you’re a man of many talents, keep it up 👍🏼
How are you not melting in that peacoat?! Wonderful music despite!!
Why is inspector gadget playing jazz?
You got a big talent man. Keep up the good work. You can go far away with that enormous talent 👍
Awesome! Do you have it available in Eb for alto saxophone?
Not yet, but i can make one!
@@TheNotSeeingEye where is it
Crazy impressive!! Great work!
I assume this is for C instruments 😅
You can't play that low on an Alto! (Unless if Carlos was using something to put inside the bell to make VERY low notes possible)
I noticed that LOL! i think it might just be pitch correction or just really good embouchure technique (i’m not a sax player haha)
also this transcription is in C not Eb (alto sax key)!
It's in concert pitch, Db3 is the concert pitch of bottom Bb on alto
yea i thought alto sax can't go that lower until I realised this transcription was transposed to C (Eb is the alto sax) so got little confused. You can still go lower than a low Bb on alto by putting your knee on the bell to flatten it into an A or even an Ab/G# (or use like a cover/mute to make stupidly low notes)
Ah jazz. the birth of nonsense noises just like rap!
How are you not melting in that peacoat?! Wonderful music despite!!
