@@Honor_and_Steel Okay, so he was using the copy glitch but in a way more smarter manner than I tried LOL. It worked like a charm, we now have a solid stripe of Taiyo side caps on both sides now, THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Another great build! I was just working on trying to get a good view of the armillary last night. Thank you for another great build :) I have worked in the computer engineering field since the netscape days, and wanted to mention getting an ergonomic mouse. When I got one it was life changing, no more pain. Anker makes a nice one for around $15, so they are not that expensive. For folks that have wrist/arm pain pick one up (or get one BEFORE the pain sets in). Hope that helps :)
Thank you phreakfactor! And thank you for the mouse recommendation! I actually already own the one I think you're thinking of. It's a 20 dollar wired vertical mouse. I love this one, all the others I've tried are too big for my tiny hands. So the Anker it is for me as well. They usually break after a year for me, so i try to keep one on backstock 🤣 My IRL job isn't too kind on my limbs, so tbh the vertical mouse is just delaying eventual wrist surgery.
Hi i figured away of getting the side caps on between the fuel tanks as it was bugging me to. when you finish the build delete the middle tank. And get a side cap take it to 1 of the side tanks but don't attach it you'll see it turn green flip it but don't flip it back and press escape like you normal do. Do the same on the other side and you'll see in the bottom corner you have warning saying unattached modules now get another fuel tank place it back were it was and your done
I've been pondering on an upgrade for the frontier. I'm pondering if this will be an ideal version of it. 🤔🤔 or make something close to them both. Hmm. Then again the frontier is a basic ship. 🤷🏿♂️😅
It has that unique Frontier hab, which is basically just an NG Berth A, but still would be cool to put on a larger build! And we already have a pair of WD 2030 engines on there :D
Yeah, I was like hmm..I actually have some of these parts and extra habs on my upgraded frontier. But I'm looking at it and it's so meh to me. So I had it already in my my mind to try and make it more interesting looking and slick. So I guess I went with this build and I built it a bit ago. It's only slightly different with a Pinch reactor on top where you of 3 fuel tanks and no extra cargo on the front at least for now.. and the engines are all Nova in which I already had. I didn't spend much on it at all. Just under 100K. I might make a slight change but it does look good. I honestly wish the I could lower the reactor down some where you have that fuel tank in front of the cockpit. The Armillary looks amazing and I only seen it in a top down view so far. I was legit in awe. Whelp I think this is my last build I'm doing on NG at least. I did quite a few builds 2 being yours. I got to give credit where it's due. Congrats on your 1000 subs and here's to many more. Oh I did see this one popped on steam the day you posted it. I ended up adding you 😅😅
@@Th3_Great_On3 Well, you can put a lot of main modules on the lower level of the spine if you omit the long HopeTech Hab Spine hallway. Initially during the first few drafts, that wasn't there and the reactor was placed down below. The Hopetech computer core and habspines at front aren't necessary to ship function, they're just there because I think they're cool lol so they can be removed with little consequence.
@@CMDREagle131 honestly I don't do 1st person so it won't affect me as much. I think how bulky the pinch reactor ( or the fuel tank) is was just bugging me a tad. I like the spine and the computer core being there. When I went down that long hallway and when I got there I was like this is interesting. I couldn't do much last night I had to call it a night. I couldn't enjoy the ship much like I wanted to, but was glad I was successful. BTW I got some deimos hulls on the top of the front part of the spine. It worked it out good.
Howdy! I am an Xbox player and I downloaded 3 of your ships. I can't get them to show up in the New Atlantis techs list of ships for sale. Of course I have Ship Vendor framework. I've also waited several days for the list to repopulate. I really want to rock your ships. What am I doing wrong?
Try saving, and then quitting out of the game fully. That has actually been working for me when my ships don't show up at the vendor. Let me know if that works!
@@CMDREagle131 Sorry mate, that didn't work. I feel like the Ship Vendor Framework is jacked up but I have no idea why or what mod might be messing things up. Do you think it's possible to build your ships from scratch on console?
@@buzzbomb6650 Yeah it may be another mod conflicting, you can check the SVF's page for known conflicts. As far as building this ship on console, you can definitely do it. You will just need to run any mod that allows part merging. I personally like to use Ship Part Merging Enabled by Sadyr-Machiba- it's controlled by a slate you can get from Jemison Mercantile.

I’m going to have to try and see if the armilary viewport trick works with the darkstar astrodynamics class c drives that look like the class a 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hi commander,
Question : If I build my Armillary, I can't jump anymore ? I have to remove all artifact before ?
If the Armillary is complete, then yes, you will need to remove it or else every time you jump, you will go to the Unity.
