I’ve tried all firmwares for me 3.9 and 4.3 is the best overall. 4.8 is not too shabby but 5.0 would have been awesome since I do love the bass response but it sacrifice mid range and highs since the drivers have limitations.

I came from beosound explode returned it, Bose soundlink flex returned it, bought a soundcore flare 2 returned it, got a tribit stormbox 2 returned it, bought a Onn rugged large speaker returned it and the Wonderboom 3 was actually pretty damn good but I still returned it. Now I’m happy with this one. Till Earfun comes out with a better design, better drivers and possibly a tweeter hire Oluv to do the tuning I believe it’s a win win. Cuz this speaker puts other expensive a run for its money.
@@testing448 earfun uboom xl is on the way to be presented but olaf lost contact with earfun company and probably there will be no more products with olaf tuning
@@DominikReviewsI really like 0.5.0 tbh when in outdoor mode, perfect for movies. I eq it for music though. The surface it's placed on also affects the distortion. Any cloth smoothens it out and removes any distortion and a thin wood table distorts a lot and a solid wood table is a neutral sound without and distortion.
There is also 0.4.5 (stock with the speaker), 0.4.8 but 0.4.4 seems the smoothest to me on my unit Good video, impressive that the difference was quite easily hearable 👍
So what is the difference between 0.4.4 vs 0.4.8 vs 0.4.3. I’ve heard of the 0.4.3 and 0.4.8 as Oluv’s tuning. I’ve never heard of 0.4.4 until now. Is this also Oluv’s?
Does anyone know how to add a "Auto Power Off" (e.g. after 20min of no amplification) ? I want to go to sleep with the speaker but not waste battery life all night long...
@@DominikReviews I've ordered this tommorow what firmware will pre-installed in it and what about the quality of that pre-installed firmware? Does it good or bad or gonna have distortion on 100% volume with bassy audios?
@@ra2ha3m You will have 5.0 which for me sounds bad and have a lot of distortions, After you got it you can change firmware to old one 0.4.4 or something

5.0 after 50% is horrible all distorted

Which would be best for songs with 0 distortion and rich bass and all midh also
denon lacks upper mids, uboom have a small dip in 1,5khz, bass distortions is on both. Also both lack bass so i dont know
