BUILDING COMMUNITY TOGETHER | Escuela Adelante in Nicaragua

Escuela Adelante is a small non-profit bilingual school located in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. The school currently offers a bilingual curriculum for students ages preschool through fourth grade. It wants to expand their campus to offer classes all the way through high school and they need our help to make it happen.

I sat down with Escuela Adelante's co-founder, Jaime Hunter, and several parents to learn what makes Escuela Adelante unique. There is almost too much to list, but they all agree the most important parts are the school’s cultural and socioeconomic diversity, inclusiveness and educational equity that draws more families to it year after year.My goal in making this video was to share this school’s story and to help them raise the money to build more classrooms. I hope they are successful and that this video shows the wonderful impact the school has on its students' families and the surrounding community.
