- Welcome to Utila, Honduras! It is considered by many to be the best or second best spot for scuba diving on the entire planet. It's also a great place to unwind, slow down, and drink a cold beer while enjoying a sunset. I spent nine days here and enjoyed it immensely. It is less expensive and touristy than the neighboring island of Roatan and highly recommended if you're visiting Honduras.

Matt, you inspire me. You and I are very much alike in many ways (except instead of spreadsheets, I coded websites). Also, I spent a week in Roatan a few years ago and loved it. Got my open water diving certification right there on the reef. But I wanted to say Hi and encourage you to keep at it.
