Nuno is a great player, but he’s no Guthrie Govan, nor is he a Alex Hutchings! As these two artist are absolutely amazing! Yes I know of all of his solos and yes they are repetitive phrases over and over, faster and faster. He’s Not as fast as Leonardo Batio. Well who is right? PeAce ✌🏻Dana E💫☮️
You're absolulety right. He's not Govan or Hutchings. Nor are those guys Nuno. That's the beauty of being a unique individual. And since when did speed become a meter of how good someone is. If that was the case, then best guitarist in the world is the guy holding the Guinness world record of fastest player. But we all know this is not the case.
@@danaeverhart6487 I'm not into Jason Becker's playing at all. So you think in music the faster the better? And when you ask? Since the beginning. Berry, Harrison, Page, Hendrix... none of these guys are considered fast players. But some still think they're rather good.
@@IdigN1 imo what makes nuno a great guitar player - soloist is his groove and rythm feeling, not so much the speed, altho he's not slow by any means. As well as obviously being a great songwriter, he wouldnt be nowhere near he is right now if it wasnt for that, 3 sides is surely one of my top albums of all time

Song for love is his greatest solo ever. So much more melodic that his other work. It’s all great but song for love gives me chills.
A few curveballs in this list- but welcome ones! His style is so distinctive and yet he’s also a chameleon- playing for the song as always. Brilliant.
I’ve had nothing but enjoyment listening to Nuno play. Helluva guitar player, song writer & musician 🤟🏻
