I honestly think that Nuno hasn't put himself around enough pressure with crazy insanely good musicians. He avoided G3 tours like the plague sadly in his prime. He should have been put in a room with people like Marty who are super boundary pushers a looooooooong time ago. This was magic. I feel like they are having a conversation and their use of outside exotic notes whilst still being rock is ****ing sublime. Plus they maintain the melody and feel throughout in a way like it's a journey and not a jam. As Benny Goodman is a concept trained pianist I want him tearing up some arpeggios and lines at least in the outro. To maybe in a future song here a conversation with this level of guitar with high level piano would be beautiful and very different to what we are allowed to hear in conventional rock band music. This is closer to Transiberian Orchestra heavy metal opera music. Which to me like Queen with Hard Rock, that level of grandiosity is so rare and yet has a power that is hard to rival. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN I hope they do more together. FMLLLLLLLL.
It's funny how Marty and Nuno have almost the exact opposite picking technique when it comes to their right hand positioning. Just goes to show you have to approach the guitar in a way that works for you.
i noticed that about a lot of the true god given talent guys, they have a very unique way of aproaching fast picking, eddie vanhallen , is another one,, it's like the pick is exactly perpendicular to the strings, and yngwie's hand almost doesn't move at all
Marty's articulation and ear are second to none. Every note has its purpose, place, and is executed flawlessly. Combine that with his beautiful composition skills and ability, and you have a legend. Introduction and Scenes are awesome albums.
Marty's take on the main theme from 5:44 to 6:10 is so good. The bends are great and you can tell it is Marty even if you didn't know he was in the song. Then his final solo is incredible and fits the song perfectly. Nuno's final solo from 5:03 to 5:43 is really good also.

I'm a classically trained pianist and I always thought it would be cool to make that rock. When I discovered yngwie, cacophony, and dream theater it was like what I had always heard in my head. But this is definitely more Vivaldi and Chopin than Becker, who is also totally Vivaldi, Paganini, and chopin!!!! Thats why his music was so incredible. To think that came out of a 17 year old still tells me that much like Mozart, Jason is a savant.
@@TheNeuroticGuitarist I read you. And agreed: he was quite the prodigy. Anyways, whomever the inspiration, the vibe was good enough it was an instant preorder for me, so I'll enjoy your music in the months to come. :)
@@EddieOtool that means the world, and please don't think that Jason was not a huge inspiration! I just gravitated towards him because his love for arpeggios and classical modulation is the same thing that drove me to music. Thank you so much for your support and if you dig this song I'm pretty sure the rest of our music will make you happy.
Cheers 🤘🤘🎸🔥
