- In the 2019 Peach Bowl the #1 LSU Tigers faced the #4 Oklahoma Sooners. The explosive Tiger offensive was not phased by the Sooners whatsoever. Led by QB Joe Burrow, LSU had the game wrapped up by the half. WR Justin Jefferson has 14 receptions for 227 yards and four touchdowns.

Yes I’m aware Justin Jefferson didn’t do it by himself. It was a whole team effort. Joe Burrow set many more records and carried the offense. That’s not the point of this video. It’s to highlight how well Jefferson played.

The crazy part about this game was people actually thought Oklahoma could beat LSU.
They literally were saying Hurts beat LSU at Bama so he could beat them in this game. It was ridiculous. Bama won those games with the defense and because LSU had a bad offense, not because of Hurts. The situation in this game was completely different and it was a foregone conclusion LSU was going to blow them out.

I'm not even an LSU fan but I remember telling my dad after week 2: LSU is gonna win every game, and it'll never be close. They made any other team look 2nd rate. Nobody could stop this offense, you look at them in NFL seems kinda obvious now

As a Oklahoma fan, who knew the defense was horrifically bad going in, and well aware of Burrow and LSUs offense, this game went from pure embarrassment to amazement VERY FAST.

I remember this season. It was a true privilege to experience it going through LSUs journey from our struggles such as us almost losing to the Longhorns in the second game, to the triumphs from beating Alabama and winning the National Championship. All this was aided by me being old enough to understand the game better and made for an incredible experience.
