In this special extended study, we will be looking at the timing of Satan's appearing as Christ to discover whether it is before or after the close of probation, based upon Matthew 24 and the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy.

WHOA....WHAAAAA..... My mind is blown...... Barabbas was the counterfeit Christ that Jerusalem accepted instead of Jesus and their probation was closed afterwards, the end for them........ Because of their choice ....and history is going to be repeated in our time which is the end time generation. People are going to choose the counterfeit Christ And you can see it all unfolding right before our eyes..... My mind is totally blown thank you pastor

This was truly another indepth study Pastor Myers. God, indeed raised you up for a time like this. May God continue to give you the passion and patience to teach this generation so that we will be able to study for ourselves so we can be well trained to rightly divide the word of truth.
This was another amazing study. We held a watch party in my discord. I know I make jovial comments in the chat from time to time. I don't do it to be silly, I do it because when you are in the darkness and the light shines, it is an indescribable feeling 🥰. We are all at different levels in our lives I suspect, but I thank God that he allows even the tiniest of light to reach the darkest of depths.

My brethren satan showing up as the false Christ is the test , he will set up the abomination of desolation ,the unlearned will worship him thinking its the true Christ . Very sad if we think about it 😢

Only God [YAHweh] can save us. There is nothing we can do to be saved. But we follow Him and His Commandments because He requires it- and because we love Him- [and] it is a Commandment, through the 10 Commandments.
I have always believed Satan coming as christ is a test to everyone,God has to be fair and give everyone the opportunity to choose 🙂

Hello from Japan. I got a question. Some pastors say that the word "then" in Matt 24 means "after that". Is that true or does it have another meaning? Thank you
It means "at that time". But Matthew 24 is not strictly chronological. "From (the neuter of) G3588 and G3753; the when, that is, at the time that (of the past or future, also in consecution): - that time, then."

At the 44:00 mark, Jesus does not say, "beware of false Christ." He does say many will come in His name professing that, yes, Jesus is Christ, and they will then mislead or deceive many. It does not say or imply that they are pretending to be Christ.

There you go. Satan's appearance is a test for EVERYONR... and that is in the chapter about the time of yrouble
Some people say that Satan knows he loses in the end but he still goes thru thru his plans. Ex after the millennium Gog and Magog
So i am confused. I thought the appearing of the anti christ the whirl wind which is fire coming down from heaven is the start of the early time of trouble. Then disasters etc. Then Gods people being blamed for that. Gods people going forth with the loud cry and Satans people giving their message simultaneously. So when Satan intensifies his zeal by performing pleasing delusions and people are saying lo here is christ there is christ and he makes fire come down from heaven to prove he is God.
So he makes fire come down from heaven again with the shout of triumph that God has come?
There will be no death decree before the close of probation. “John then selects two classes as worthy of especial attention: first, the martyrs, those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus; and secondly, those who had not worshiped the beast and his image. This class, the ones who refuse the mark of the beast and his image, are of course the ones who hear and obey the third message of Revelation 14; but these are not the ones who are beheaded for the witness of Jesus, as some who claim that the last generation of saints are all to be slain, would have us believe. Lest any one should say that if we render the passage “and whosoever had not worshiped the beast,” we thereby include millions of heathen and sinners who have not worshiped the beast, and promise them a reign with Christ of a thousand years, we would call attention to the fact that the preceding chapter states that the wicked had all been slain, and the seal of death had been set upon them for a thousand years; and John is viewing only the righteous company who have part in the first resurrection. p. 693, Para. 2.
To avoid the doctrine of two resurrections, some claim that the passage, “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished,” is an interpolation, not found in the original, and hence not genuine. Even if this were so, it would not disprove the main proposition that the righteous dead are raised by themselves, in a “first resurrection,” and that there is a second resurrection a thousand years later, in which all the wicked are brought from their graves. Genuine conversion shall preserve us thru the 7 last plagues, therefore Satan has interfered, with great confusion, on the PROCESS of salvation. EGW: "NOT 1in 20 are prepared for Jesus' return" (4%). This breaks my heart. Genuine conversion involves installation and operation of God's Law in our heart (by Grace-power (Rom1:5) thru faith-trust (Heb.8:10), plus 'operation' involves health reform (required for maintaining communication, to avoid deception, and to avoid not being sealed (Isa.16:8), especially at Satan's impersonation of Christ. I believe that the reason 5 faithful virgins awake and have OIL that the other 5 don't, is because of health reform communication during sleepy time.

We are to test the spirits and prophets to know if they are speak truth. We should be studying the bible and then going to EGW to see if she is correct in her theology as the bible teaches. If she is not she is a false prophet. I have not found anything yet that doesn’t line up with scripture. Also, we need to check our spirit. What spirit are we?
What is our position as adventists when it comes to wearing cosmetics? Am I the only one getting distracted by the cosmetics the co-host lady is wearing or am I just being judgemental?

If he shall impersonate Christ then he should keep the Sabbath. As SDA I fear we underestimate the deceiving acts in the great controversy, we have a clear marked path for the devil to follow….. what if this was the deceiving act as well?
We have the sure word of prophecy guiding us, so we don't need to be concerned about such questions. God has already told us that Satan will come impersonating Christ, and that he will claim to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday. This is one of the main reasons why God gave us messages through Ellen White - so that we won't be deceived in the last days. If you want the Bible evidence that Satan will impersonate Christ, then watch all the sermons Ivor Myers has done on this topic.
@@randalh409 which Bible verse says Satan shall impersonate Christ, the verses says MANY and as SDA we changed many to one, Satan.
@@doceke The Bible does definitely teach that Satan will impersonate Christ, but that is a whole Bible to show that. However, God has also told us very plainly this will happen through the messages He gave to Ellen White. Ellen White said that NOTHING she wrote in any books or articles was her own thoughts and opinions. She was a prophet, and more than a prophet, and she only wrote down what God had shown her.

Does Jesus Say Him or Them? Why twist the Bible to make traditions correct? It is unfortunate but there have to be Adventist who will be the Pharisees who denied Jesus because of traditions. Miss understanding Isaiah 53 they went on to crucify Jesus, Adventist having mis understood Ellen writings will be deceived just as Pharisees who understood prophecy got deceived. It’s time to pray that we/I be blind so that Jesus can make us/me see. Jesus came so that those who thought they can see be made blind….
@@doceke The teaching that Satan will impersonate Christ is based on much more than that one Bible verse. This teaching is also VERY CLEARLY taught in the messages God gave us through Ellen White. There is no misunderstanding what she wrote on this subject. What you need to decide for yourself is if the messages Ellen White received were from God or from Satan. If they're from God, then they are truth and tell exactly what will take place. The fact that you are disregarding these messages sent from God, is setting you up for major deception.

You all rely on her writings to much. They've been rewritten, quotes twisted and re edited. So you're in return giving some false information. Like Matthew 24:21 is referring to the future, and for the elect sake those days will be shortened, that's the 144,000 who will make it through the great tribulation..That's not past. I mean come on.

Listen to what i have to say... There is not enough time left for people to come to better understandings of very important matters, such as this one, if a 2 houer presentation is cluttered with 2 peoples rumbling on's.... Video's must be a bit a bit more to the point and then explained.... It took me almost 3 years to come to better understanding of "president truth's", going through all the clutter of videos.
