This is an amazing study from Pastor Myers. I have listened to many presentations over the years on the subject of the Mark of the Beast and this is the one that goes straight to the heart of the matter. May God continue to bless this man of God. Pastor Myers PLEASE!! PLEASE!! but this presentation in a book. A small easy to read booklet. Something that we can use as reference material when we presenting the subject to others and also we can distribute it as part of our literature evangelism. If you don't have the time I will personally inscribe the entire presentation and send it you and you can review it and format it and have it printed. I think that one of the keys to the MARK OF THE BEAST is found in Genesis, chapter one when man was made in the image of God…having “Dominion” and having the potential of being “Fruitful” both literally and spiritually. We are commanded to have dominion and to be fruitful.
At that time, we saw Adam NAMING THE BEASTS. Naming seems to be a part of having dominion. And Adam’s obedience to God made him spiritually fruitful.
When Adam sinned, the Beast became dominant, and Adam and mankind now have the name and the number of the beast. Our fleshly desires also became dominant. The Beast is now in control and naming the people.
Humanity was no longer dominant because we became slaves to Satan and sin. Also, we became spiritually barren... a fig tree without fruit.
If I understand correctly, the ten commandments are the image of God, His name, His Character.
We are either marked (named) by God or we have the Beast’s name and number.
Jesus died to restore the choice for us to choose to obey God and have His name. We would no longer be enslaved to Satan, the father of lies.
With Jesus’s death, He paid the penalty for sin (justification). The Holy Spirit of Truth leads us, gives us gifts and gives us power to overcome sin (sanctification). At the second coming our bodies will be changed and presence of sin will be dealt with (glorification).
The carnal mind hates the law, hates God and is unable to obey and worship Him. That is why we must be born again…repent, believe, baptized, and receive the Holy Spirt
We are now a spiritual creation born from the tomb (planted in Christ death and resurrection) and not only the womb.

Ok when you brought up the sabbath, we are not under that law for Jesus for filled the law .
Now what I get out of this teaching is a seal of the sabbath, that I don’t believe.

If you were invited to present this same Message @ The White House, General Conference, Some Embassy, The UN, etc you'd be suited down... Is it required? No not at all, but the message that it send, particularly to the youth and even the old trying to look young, hip, original, etc, etc. Anytime that we stand in a place set aside for a Holy Purpose or Cause, we should come as correct as possible...
bro we must not do that to the book of Revelation. Peter warns us of the required attitude 1Pet 4:ll. The bible presents us with different forms of language, those of which cannot be literal, eg." gog and magog" and much more. Therefore the book of revelation being part of the narrative concerning , God's scheme of redemption should be consistent with the purpose, which is: right from wrong ; truth from error ; Jesus from satan; revelation from man's opinion . So the mark is a way of life away from Christ. Jno. 6;66. Away from the allegiance to God and Christ. 2Pet.1:3. Victory in Christ against loss in satan.
Even those that can't bowe now, will be able to bowel down in Heaven on the Sabbath

The fire that the second beast causes to fall from heaven is the inverse of the fire that came from heaven when Elijah , the true prophet had his showdown with the 400 false prophets of Baal. The fire that the second beast, the False Prophet brings from heaven will have the opposite effect. The effect of the fire the True Prophet of God, was to change the allegiance of the people from an evil kingdom, Ahab and Jezebel's kingdom. The effect if the fire that the False prophet will bring will change the allegiance if the people from a legitimate government to a wicked King's government. The deceiving miracle will be the seizure of power in the United States by a wicked government led by a False Prophet, A wicked, oppressive, superiorist, king who denies wrongdoing, will gain power in America through a thwarted election. Republicans already worship Trump as Jesus. But the vast majority see him for what he is. It will take nothing short of a miracle akin to making fire fall from heaven to put Trump on the throne.

Its simple. When were the feast days introduced? Answer...after the Sabbath in Exodus 12. It explicitly says that the new moon will be the beginning of months or feast days. The new moon will now have another assignment other than ruling the night. It will now tell the Israelites when the newly introduced feast days would take place.
Exo 12:1-2 KJV 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Sunday is not the sabbath day.... its Saturday..... time, day and law was changed by the pope and the catholic church.... so to me the beast is the roman catholic kingdom... they went against the teachings of the kingdom of Jesus Christ witch will last forever.

I am an Adventist, I agree with you. There are three kingdoms/beasts in Revelation 14. The third is not here yet, I know that from other studies. On your sermon (I am currently at 18 minutes), you didn’t identify the first and second beast. Because you didn’t, you haven’t given a basis/reason/evidence to say the third beast is not here yet. As we stand, at 18 minutes, we don’t know if the first and second have come into existence yet.
Its already here!!! The Nation of Islam!!!! They have their own book - ie Quran!
So how do the Christians keep the Sabbath? Like the Jews? And what about the number?
Pastor Myers, thank you for your usual cogent exegesis on Scripture. However, I believe you are in error in several of your videos that equate "the beast" to Satan, instead of to the pope. You also incorrectly refer to "the man of sin" as being Satan. However, the Spirit of Prophecy (in GC 49.2; 50.1) clearly states, "This compromise between paganism and Christianity resulted in the development of "the man of sin" foretold in prophecy as opposing and exalting himself above God." Further, in GC 53.4, the prophetess further elucidates, "The archdeceiver had not completed his work. He was resolved to gather the Christian world under the banner and to exercise his power through his vicegerent, the proud pontiff, who claimed to be the representative of Christ." GC 53.4. "The great apostate (the pope) had succeeded in exalting himself "above all that is called God, or that is worshipped." (2 Thess. 2:4; GC 53.3)
What biblical or prophetic word is there that Satan is "the man of sin" or that the world "wondered" after Satan, instead of the pope in Revelation13:3? Most SDAs have been taught that the world would "wonder" after the pope. Please clarify. Thank you.
The following statements are in reference to 2 Thessalonians (man of sin). My contention is not that these do not refer to the Papacy, but rather that they do not ONLY refer to the Papacy, but ultimately to the one behind the Papacy.
2 Thess.2:9 speaks of the "parouisa" of the "Wicked" one. Again, note these statements:
"All murmuring against the law of God is instigated by the ***lawless one*** who first created dissatisfaction in the courts of Jehovah, and incited rebellion among the ranks of the angels." ST January 6, 1888, par. 3
This is Satan, not the Pope.
"The ***wicked one*** is at work with all deceivableness of unrighteousness; and while we are not to keep our eyes upon the powers of darkness, we cannot be ignorant of their devices." YRP 356.4
Again, this is a reference to Satan, not the Papacy.
"Satan’s plan has taken with the religious world. He has created an order of things entirely his own, making void the law of God. ***He sits in the temple as God.*** Through his deceptive workings he has gained in the professedly Christian world all that he thought to gain in heaven-an abrogation of the law of Jehovah. Through the Roman power he has worked to remove God’s memorial and has erected a memorial of his own, to sever God from His people; and today the Protestant world is estranged from God by their worship of a spurious sabbath. 14LtMs, Ms 77, 1899, par. 30
Here we see it Satan working through the Papacy, but it is ultimately Satan who desires to show himself as God.
"Satan determined to sit upon the throne of God in the earth, to sit in the temple of God, showing himself to be God." ST June 13, 1895, par. 3
The papacy is to Satan what John the Baptist was to Jesus. The ultimate "man of sin" is also described in Isiaih 14:
Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, ****Is this the man**** that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners.
It is Satan counterfeiting the incarnation of Jesus as a man. The papacy only prepares the world for the "overmastering delusion."

Just as the mark is the same for the third beast so is the number. It is the “image” of it.
I’m watching this following on from studying Wednesday 14 June SabbSch Lesson on the Mark of the Beast.
This is a deep, potentially sensitive subject and I wondered why no mention of the Papacy was made!
I have downloaded the slides and will review them again, but I think that I only followed this because I have been studying the SS Lesson and following the Salvation in Symbols & Signs Bible Study course on the 3ABN Dare to Dream network.
This seemed overly complicated! But I can see that I’m in the minority here.
I have much to learn. 😔

I’ll be honest with you, I’ve only managed to get to episode 17 of Salvation in Symbols & Signs. (Albeit that I’ve watched about 5 of them 3 times)! 😄
And have only made it to the equivalent with Pastor Mark’s weekly Bible Study on The book of Revelation.

Yes! It really IS that simple! It hasn’t come into effect yet, because the deadly wound is not yet fully healed, but the Papacy is reviving and gearing up to be this impressive power.

Yes He is. There are several biblical references in both the Old and New Testaments to that effect. However The Holy Spirit actually GIVES the seal, whereas the 4th Commandment identifies God’s authority.
The Holy Spirit is God too! He will enable us to keep ALL of the Commandments, the 4th Commandment is the Commandment that stipulates the identification of when to worship Him.

The Bible is written using definitions that are not commonly used today. Today there are definitions that are not even 100 years old. 'No man hath seen God'. Not seen as to perceive with the eyes but as in 'I can't see how that works'. discern or deduce mentally after reflection or from information; understand.

In my understanding, the seal of God is His law=love. John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another". Our heart (mind) will stay in love, and our actions will demonstrate love. It's the whole law, INCLUDING, not exclusively, the fourth commandment.

@Charnel ALLAN DUDE, you don't have to worship on the Sabbath if you choose not to. God is a God of love NOT forced worship on anyone, that includes you. Do as you please. God is not a God of force! Nothing more to argue, have it whatever way you want, but as for me and my household we will rest from our activities so we can worship on the Sabbath! You are not required by law YET to keep any day holy, do as you wish!
