How could the return of Jesus Christ ever be a problem? It certainly won’t be a problem for anyone who trusts in Him. The problem lies in understanding its timing and manner. When and how will Jesus return? How can we say that Jesus can come back at any time and that we should always be ready for Him knowing He said certain signs must happen first? How do we reconcile all the prophetic signs the Bible predicts must happen (including the great tribulation and worldwide devastation) and yet say Jesus is coming soon? Hint: you already know the answer!

Skip is one of the best preachers today. I have studied the Scriptures for 60 years. I have never found him handling the Word of God deceitfully.

I have faith for a virgin birth and people rising from the dead. Absolutely zero faith that Sunday is the third day from friday.

Jhn.20.1 the first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early unto the sepulchre when it was yet dark and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. So she runneth and cometh to Simon Peter and the other deciple whom Jesus loved and saith unto them, "they have taken away the Lord and we know not where they have laid him.
Mary Magdalene arrives at the tomb when it is dark and the tomb is empty.
Pretty sure you need a body in the tomb at sunrise to have a Easter Sunday Sunrise Resurrection, pretty sure about that.
It may be Skip's testimony that the Savior of the world has a math problem, but it's not my testimony.

I feel the main point of Pastor Skip's teachings are to be ready. It is the ongoing theme. As a man who always knew God but was only recently saved I feel as if though I may be a quick study or maybe not.
As Christians we must learn and grow and change to show the change we experienced on the inside outwardly to show others. I'm not sure why. I have my speculations but I know I must be patient and give it all to God. I have so much more to learn yet I hope my words comfort anyone struggling with this concept. Give everything to God and allow Him to show you the way . Study read learn and connect with Him to me seems to be the key as a newbie lol .
Any advice would be appreciated from anyone. Plus when 2 or more are gathered in His name He is with us. I firmly believe this. God bless all of you.

Why do u think the pre trib rapture teachers will not debate with the other views of the rapture?
Revelation 20:4-6 I will tell you why because they know they will be exposed.
How is it John said that the great tribulation believer's must be in the first resurrection, but the pre trib rapture view says there will be a resurrection Rapture at the beginning of the seven year period, that will not include the great tribulation believer's who must be murdered by the antichrist during the last three and a half years of the seven year period?
U are not being taught the truth by the pre trib rapture teachers.

Learning it and teaching it is not the answer… spending time with God and becoming it is the path. The goal is not the pulpit of teaching others. The goal is becoming love ❤️ like Jesus is… and showing through our actions, the kindness, the power, and the servant’s heart towards others. A changed heart occurs by spending time in your loving Heavenly Father’s presence while he saturates your soul with his amazing love. His promise? To give his children new hearts and new desires. I’m telling you this, because I was bound for years trying to “ learn and apply” but Jesus came and set me free from that hardship thinking! He told me to develop my relationship with God and feel his love for me. I did and wow what a difference! I got to really “ know” God personally. My life changed, and I was empowered by the Lord to love and feel loved. He really is the beautiful WELL that NEVER runs dry. I pray you have his blessings as you seem like a wonderful child of God. Anyone hoping for a "Pre-Tribulation" Rapture Rescue will be very disappointed, to discover that Jesus returns only once, to gather His Elect from out of the extremities of heaven and earth (Mk 13:27), within "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), just before the Wrath of God falls upon and destroys all the the wicked enemies of God ( Is 13;6-13, Jer 46:10, Joel 1:15-3-:15), shortly before the present heavens and earth are burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12).

What? Where does it say there is a pre trib rapture? Not One verese. But there are verses that say after the tribulation Jesus will return. AFTER THE TRIBULATION AT THE LAST TRUMPET. We will go through the tribulation. Prepare yourself.

@tennis video tips the last trumpet is the last trumpet there is only one last trumpet and the one Jesus is talking about in Matthew is the same one on revelation. Come on now are you really trying to squash the round peg into a square hole. Read the Bible in context stop cherry picking. We go through the tribulation. That is what JESUS SAYS. Trust what Jesus says over anyone any teacher or preacher. Why would you believe them over what is clearly written in the Bible?
I wouldn't get your hopes up on your heavenly plans. You probably don't want to hear this but the truth is that the earth has always been the plan for humans to live forever. This idea of going to heaven is not true. The new earth will be our home.

Jesus keeps all His promises, and will come exactly when He promised (Mt 24:29-30), in order to resurrect His people within "The Last Day" (Jn 6::39-40,44,54), at least 7 years yet future. Unfortunately, some English translations are misleading, in a manner that contradicts other Scripture, thereby causing confusion (e.g., Rev 3:11, 22:7, 12, 20), in which the Greek adverb, "ταχύ" ("tachu"from which we receive "tachometer") is a description of speed, not delay or a suggestion of imminence.

This really seems like a sermon for an American audience. Ask someone in North Korea. Is it worse than what they are dealing with? We can’t compare the suffering of many in the world with the minor inconveniences (by comparison) that we experienced by the pandemic in the US. This is one thing that got me out of dispensationalism. Very centered on America and what we are going through. Lots of countries are already experiencing a constant tribulation.
Another one of those who preach comfort and cancels out Jesus teachings and say it is for the Jews

I am an eastern orthodox Christian and I have been watching you for a year or more now. I do like and believe your teaching for it is really so simple and yet so truly documented by verse and science.
But, I can't expect The Revelation to be literally fulfilled . I have always imagined the language symbolic and not so accurate.
Our Father is quite capable of ensuring we have absolutely accurate information for these last days. It is human wisdom that tries to spiritualise what John saw. He was given a clear vision of what was, what is and what is to come hereafter (Rev 1:19). John would have been very careful to record his Revelation exactly as it was given to him and our Lord has ensured we have access to it now. Many have been martyred preserving God’s word. It is only the traditions of men that tell us to look to God’s word with this view.
@@lespearl50 Thank you for taking interest in my words but I think I didn't make myself clear enough. I didn't mean that the word is not accurate. It is not even John's word or record for every single word inspired by the holy spirit but I do think there is something more behind the literal meaning. I don't believe in rapture or the thousand year rule of lord Jesus Christ on earth or the double judgement. Our orthodox faith is about another one second coming of Christ for one and only judgement day, then , the rapture of the whole triumph church to the new earth and heaven.
@@emanosama8494 I do not mean to offend but I find that God’s word can always be interpreted literally unless it is obviously parabolic or poetry. The prophecies in the OT that foretold the coming of Christ were all fulfilled literally. At times Jesus went to great lengths to ensure they were (Mat 26:54). I see no reason to believe the prophecies concerning His second coming would be any different. At present our Father is holding back the satanic hordes by the power of His Holy Spirit, when the body of Christ and the Restrainer are removed the demonic hordes will overrun the world (2 Thes 2:6) and I believe the Revelation could be literally fulfilled. You may not have seen demons in your country but many African and Asian people are very familiar with them. These are not creations of the human mind. It is only the Holy Spirit working through the body of Christ that has pushed back open manifestations of the demonic realm. If you look around you at the western world, as the great falling away is happening (2 Thes2:3), more and more demonic activity is rising. The west is being repaganised and people are now openly worshiping the satan. When God removes His church and His Spirit these evil hordes will terrorise humanity. This is the Great Tribulation and the church has no part in it.
Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order )
Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation.
Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse.
Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb.
Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present?
The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ.
He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18.
The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15.
The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13.
He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet?
He comes on a horse in chapter 19.
Chapter 20?
Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1?
(The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.
Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time?
Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness?
Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner.
Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book.
The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

The only problem with the rapture is that it cannot go unnoticed, unless it happens just before a catastrophic event to which so many disappearances could be attributed sort of like a beam me up scotty preceding the flash of nuclear weapons. We do pray « may thy kingdom come » and when I do it is with gravitas, respect, awe, and fear.
I gave my life to Jesus watching Skip a few years back and it’s been a rocky road. In and out of my sinful habits but gradually rising out of them. Jesus forgive my relapses, I’ve come a long way but I need your help to make the cut.

It amazes me, that while most dispensational preachers understand that the events foretold to occur in MT 23 and 24 center around, and come to completion, at the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70ad; then have the misguided fortitude to suddenly jump 2000 years into the future when Jesus includes his coming and the gathering right there within the very same texts! And it expressed as being IMMEDIATELY after the events in the previous verses!

MT 16:27,28 "For the Son of man is to COME with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Meaning: it would occur while some had passed away, and yet some would still be alive. Even Paul said to his original readers of his letter; "we who are alive and remain" He knew by Holy Spirit inspiration that some of his readers would still be alive when the coming of the Lord happened and they would be gather together.

The Lord Jesus never told us in red letters that there's a rapture in addition to his 2nd Coming. In red letters he did tell us "But take ye heed : behold, I have foretold you all things" Mark13:23 KJV. Pretrib rapture is a false doctrine. Jonah2:8 KJV "They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy." Lying vanities=false doctrines.

The catching up of the church was one of the first things Paul taught, and right away, Satan convinced people the resurrection had already taken place, and Paul wrote a second letter to the Thessalonians explaining it was not true, Satan loves that he has distorted the truth about this a long time ago and still has meney Christians in doubt about it, but every one who is born again and living a life in Jesus Christ will understand this at the time it happens, reddy or not. Hi Skip, I confessed my belief in Jesus in 1995 at Calvary Chapel. Shortly after, my Mom and sisters also did. We also went together to the harvest crusade at that time. I was so happy. My youngest sister is 16 years younger than me and she doesn't attend church or focus on Jesus now. Now she has 3 children from 13 to 18, single Mom. Can you go to her house and pray with them so my sister will focus on Jesus again and her children will start learning about Jesus?

It appears like you are taking the rapture and The Tribulation and tossing it into the same pot. Not correct.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
The "rapture" or what I prefer to call it, the Resurrection happens only on the last day:
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The early believers like Martha understood this truth:
John11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

The more God fearing prayer warriors die, less prayers are going up for God's mercy on people. The love growing cold is also people not praying to God these last days, less prayers are being prayed to God especially enemies.

I think we miss the fact that periods of intense trouble, difficulty are a method God uses to boil the pot so to speak, it pushes people to Him or away a the case may be. Imminent rapture has been taught for pretty much my entire life of 74 years and I get to thinking that we miss the fact that God is calling out a people unto His name, that trouble and persecution go hand in hand with being a Christian. We ought to be focusing on endurance rather than obsessing with our ride out of here. For all we know another hundred or more years will pass without the rapture, the conditions of societies and governments may ebb and flow from good to bad as in the past, all the while God is accomplishing that which He has spoken and the Church will amass greater size. In the USA, we are a mixed multitude, many so called Christians are in name only, our present generations have grown soft, untried, lived lives of plenty and prosperity. The Church here needs and I think is being tested, refined to sort out the chaff from the wheat. In due time God will move.

Upfront I would encourage you to pray and think about what God is looking for when He takes His bride the church up into heaven. What would keep us from being raptured? Why would He want us to look forward to this event?

Occupying until he comes Luke 19:11-27. Basically it means doing what the church is called to do while Jesus is in heaven waiting for the Father to tell Him to go get His bride. At around 16:42 he quotes a verse as being from 1 Peter 5:8. He just misspoke. The reference he is referring to, I believe, is from 1 Thessalonians 5:2. I'm only bringing it to the attention of Mr. Heitzig because if you read the passage further it says, "But ye brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief." I'm not advocating that anyone will know the day. In my studies, I've paired this with Matthew 24:33.

About Matthew 24, the Greek word used for "pass" in these verses is "παρέλθῃ" (parelthē), which can also be translated as "enter into" or "pass into." This broader range of meanings allows for an interpretation that the generation would not enter into or experience the fullness of the fulfillment until all the described events are accomplished. Similar to how Israel could not pass the wilderness trial and had to wander for 40 years and fail to enter God's promises, the first century Israel failed to enter into God's promises for them by rejecting Christ and his apostles and thus were sent to wander for 2000+ years until a future generation is able to pass God's requirements through faith in the Messiah. This understanding explains why the first century Israel did not pass, but failed to pass, and thus awaits future fulfillment.
However, given that the generation of Israel was poised in the first century to have the potential to receive Jesus Christ and usher in the kingdom on Earth had they received Him (Acts 3:20), the events described in Matthew 24 may have begun to take place, but not everything did. Certainly God's elect were not gathered from the four winds (Matthew 24:31) and Christ did not appear with great glory to cause all the nations on earth to mourn (Matthew 24:30), which corresponds to Revelation 1:7 “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of him." Those that pierced him, as per Zechariah 12:10, are the nation of Israel collectively, and this is clearly speaking about the 2nd coming of Christ, which no Christian should try to argue is a historical event, as we are still waiting the coming of the Lord and our gathering together unto him.
2 Thessalonians 2:1
"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him (our blessed hope), we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us-whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter-asserting that the Day of the Lord (book of Revelation, nightmare on earth) is at hand." If those who preach 70 AD are correct, then the Day of the Lord (destruction of Jerusalem?) was absolutely at hand when Paul was writing. However, the Day of the Lord, which is what Joel speaks of in Joel 2, is what Peter quotes in Acts 2 explaining to the Jews what is happening. However if you read Joel 2 carefully it says starting in verse 27
"Then you will know that I am in Israel,
that I am the Lord your God,
and that there is no other;
never again will my people be shamed.
“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams"
So the fulfillment of Joel 2 happens after Israel is reconciled fully to God and are never again put to shame. The nation of Israel was put to horrific shame in 70 AD and God is not presently dwelling with Israel in their midst, as Israel has forsaken God and rejected His Messiah and spent 2000 years in scattered exile and judgment. Joel 2 was about to come to pass in the first century, the beginnings of it were evidenced by the pouring out of God's Spirit, but the fulfillment of it did not take place in full in the first century, but was postponed to a future generation. Peter, acknowledging that people will scoff at this idea says:
2 Peter 3:4
They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
Peter goes on to explain that if you want to understand the longsuffering of God and why these events did not take place;
2 Peter 3:15
Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
Paul's letters explain why God did not bring upon the nation of Israel in the first century the completion of their prophesied end times, because Israel fell (Romans 11:11). God will not bring about the fulfillment of the promises made to that nation until they are good and ready to receive all that God has for them, and that begins by them acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Messiah. So the obstinance and refusal of Israel has benefited the world for 2000 years, putting a pause on Israel's prophetic program until "the fullness of the Gentiles be come in" (Romans 11:25). Then God will return and save Israel "as it is written" in the scriptures of the prophets and as Jesus himself said would happen.
"Coming like a thief" can also mean coming with unexpected and irresistible force in order to acquire whatever He considers really valuable (like His Sheep).
Skip would be wiser to invalidate all ~15 disproofs of any "Imminent-Pre-Tribulation" Rapture, rather than trying to prove a "Pre-Tribulation Rapture, using arguable verses from unreliable translations

Question, if the bible says that if the days would not be cut short, even the elect would be deceived, how can the rapture happen before that? It would maybe mean that we will be here for at least part, maybe half the tribulation?

I don't know about that. If God has planned for us, his human creation, life on earth everlasting, how does it make sense that millions of faithful Christians will be raptured to heaven? Rev21:3,4 " with that I heard a loud voice from the throne say look!, the tent of God is with mankind and he will reside with them and they will be his peoples and God himself will be with them. 4. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more, the former things have passed away." Jesus said " may your Kingdom come to earth as it is in heaven." If everyone's going to heaven, who are all these people who

I don't buy some of these options. God planned for his human creation to live forever right here on earth. The idea that millions of faithful Christians will be raptured to heaven is being
presumptuous. Only those of the 144,000 will be called to heaven to serve with Christ as judges over mankind. I'm amazed that so many people have been mislead to believe their going to heaven. I'm afraid there will be alot of disappointed Christians out there. I wouldn't doubt that a large number of people will be stumbled over this rapture doctrine. I pray they don't. This pastor likes tickling the ears of his congregation. From the applause of the audience, it sounds like alot of people have accepted this false direction.

Skip is good at pulling verses out of context just to make his point, But the 20th chapter of Revelations the First Resurrection doesn't take place until the end of the great tribulation when he comes and binds up Satan and the antichrist into the bottomless pit for a 1000 years and is released for a short time to test the militinial saints and the battle of Gog and Magog, then Jesus destroys this earth with fire and brings in a new earth, a new Jerusalem, for all the saints, "This is the Great HOPE, NOT A PRetribulation Rapture!

Everyone talks about how great it would be Jesus to get here and tell him to “Come Quickly!” But they don’t know what it even involves and they are most likely not in the slightest prepared for the troubles that must lead to it. The rapture is seen as a good thing, mostly. But think of this,
Let’s say you make a bet you know the day Jesus comes and you bet a million dollars with your friends. But even if you won the money and Jesus comes the economic situation will be so dire that a million dollars will be worth nothing. They don’t know what’s on the other side. And you shouldn’t make a bet based on God.
