Can you envision, or even imagine, a world without conflict or war-a peace-filled, fair, and just environment? This has been the stuff of dreams, fairytales, and fiction. Bumper stickers tell us to “Visualize World Peace,” yet we find it impossible to do so because of our own history. But it is actually scheduled to happen for an entire millennium! For the next two weeks, we will explore this theme of the kingdom age-an era dominated by righteousness, justice, and goodness.

I think most of us don't know how to handle apocolyptic literature. So much of Bible prophecy is both literal and symbolic, both immenant and future fullfilment, and not in chronological order as we know in the West. We see how precise and clear Christ's first coming was, only in retrospect. It will probably be so with His second coming. We are highly encouraged by these writings to know that God is in control and to be faithful to do His will as we recognize the signs of the times. I'm sure that God will surprise and amaze us all in the way He works out His plan! 😃
I just hope he takes me before the UN has their way.

I am not being a fear monger. I am seeing prophecy that was foretold to us in the bible. Signs given to us by God to know the time of Jesus 2nd coming.

1948 + 70 = 2018
1948 + 80 = 2028

BEFORE Jesus returns at the 7th trumpet we will have great tribulation.
Jesus, himself had great tribulation for 3.5 years which ended on the cross.
When the son of perdition makes himself known we will have great tribulation for 3.5 yrs.

The reason you don't hear any sermons about an earthly millennial reign of Jess is that there are no verses to support it.
The verses that Skip is using to support his ideas describe events that happen after the millennium not during. His timeline is off.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that there will be a millennial reign of Jesus Christ on the Earth. The Bible does say that the Earth will be melted with fervent heat and utterly burned up with no man left on it during that time. The righteous will be in heaven looking over the books during the thousand years.
The idea that Jesus will set up an Earthly kingdom during the Millennium is a new teaching that has only been around for about 150 years.
In the NKJV I read in Revelations 20:4 "and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years", so are you saying that the NKJV & also in the "Gideon's International" version it also says the same thing at the end of Revelations 20:4.

Oh pastor Skip, please stop using the words "prediction or predictions" instead of prophecy or prophecies. There are no predictions in the entire Holy Bible.
