Thanks, Ed! We appreciate the feedback. The ice caves were definitely a highlight for us too! They’re a little out of the way from Reykjavik, but so worth seeing!
thanks for the vid of your visit to iceland.. Little tip. if you plan on doing a slo mo shot then do a lower resolution with a higher fps so you dont get the frame stutter
Hi, could you please share the tour company you went with? Thanks so much I am planning my trip and among other videos you had some unique experience hence asking. Thank you!
Thank you! The hotel we mentioned in the video is Hotel Hvolsvollur. It’s not in Reykjavik, but it was part of our Golden Circle tour as we explored the South Coast of Iceland. If you’re looking for a hotel in Reykjavik, we stayed at the Center Hotel Midgardur and loved it.
That’s awesome! We definitely want to do the Ring Road on our next trip out. Are you planning to rent a car/van and drive on your own or are you doing a group tour?
Awesome video thanks for the insight. SO did you guys plan your 3/4 days with the tour company? Did they take back to Reykjavik after the tour was over?
Haha thanks for watching! Yes, it was ok. Grant and I had a good laugh about it once I was feeling better. And I’m the one who ended up editing the video so I thought it would be fun to keep it in.
@@juancarlosgarza5511 Hi Juan. We’ve only visited Iceland during the winter because we wanted to see the Northern Lights. However, we plan to go back at some point during the spring or summer season because we hear it’s a completely different-but equally beautiful experience. If you want the full snow/glacier/Northern Lights experience, go during the winter season. If you want to see breathtaking greenery and roaring waterfalls (and perhaps camp), then spring or summer would be the time to go. It just depends on what experience you want. Hope that helps!
Haha great question, Magnus! It was beautiful! We wanted to see the northern lights, ice caves and glaciers- all wonderful to experience in the winter.
Although seeing waterfalls is always awesome and powerful the Ice Caves were the best part of this video for me.
Well done! Thanks for sharing

What drone do you guys use for the amazing videos?
Hey guys nice video! Is the hotel, if correctly spell, Haval Severe in Reykjavik?

Planning my second trip for 3 week around the Ring rd, diamond and Silver circle.

@@New2Napa Rent a car again and hotel it. Have to figure out how much time we will need at each location which will be a challenge.
Sounds like an amazing 3-week trip. We hope you have a great time!

Hi Eddy! Thanks so much! Yes, we did take a guided tour, which started and ended in Reykjavik.
Great video! Minus invading Teresa’s privacy in the bathroom..
