We went january 2020 just before covid kicked off and went to all the same places absolutely stunning country. Unfortunately we didn't see the northern lights but still an amazing trip and loved Reykjavik
Aww I'm so chuffed you got to see the Northern lights! We tried every night on our trip and it's was unsuccessful everytime, devastated! Looks like you had the most amazing Christmas trip 💛💛💛
Oh no guys!!! Sounds like another reason to go back, apparently this year there will be a good chance to see them as they should be stronger ❤️ hope you are all okay xx
Oh WOW, absolutely fantastic footage, sooo pleased you managed to see as much as you did, that last waterfall, spectacular and the size of those icicles, no you wouldn't want to get underneath one of those😲 I've loved all 3 episodes and sooo thrilled for you to see the northern lights, well done both of you on the fantastic footage, and that sunrise was gorgeous, lots of love and hugs ♥️♥️♥️♥️😘😘🥰xxxxxx
I have some beautiful northern lights photos and videos 3 wks ago when I visited for 9 days and drove daily. Felt blessed and I was in a very dark town between Selfoss and the National Park. Amazing and so captivating. I’ll go back next year. Loved Aurora hunting lol.
We’ve just watched this video in Reykjavik from our hotel room as the weather has been awful...rain and wind so most tours were cancelled. We managed the Golden Circle tour, which was awesome..besides the snow, wind and rain. We too struggled with the road crossing boxes as in your last scene...in fact you filmed that right outside our hotel..thanks for your videos, we find them really enjoyable and instructive.
Hi Kyle and Haley, really enjoyed your series on Iceland in December. The footage that you had of the waves crashing on the shore and the ice Sculptures that formed were stunning. Really enjoyed see the waterfall footage of the gushing water and the huge icicles that formed around the falling water. It was good to see you narrating the video in a warm room after all of the blistery cold snow in Iceland. Sorry that you weren't able to experience the Northern lights as much as you had hoped. Glad that you braved the cold and snow to bring us this series on Iceland. Best wishes to you both as you continue to explore and hopefully grow your channel.
Hi Ben thank you for your lovely comments as ever! The northern lights are definitely a roll of the dice but we loved seeing them and being there in real time, we were not prepared to capture them 🤣 they were stunning to see in real life for sure 👍
Hi Leigh, if you can get yourself out there it's definitely worth it, probably worth booking in summer months to avoid the road block 👍😊 😅 yeah we almost didn't get to see the waterfall took a bit of persuading the tour guide 😅👍
Hi guys, that was a great 3 videos , so pleased you got to see the northern lights, that's one thing I'd love to see, maybe one day. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hi Des hope you are doing alright! Thanks again for watching the videos! 🙌 If you ever get the chance to see them go for it 👍 they were really surreal 😍
Sad to see the end of the Iceland series, it really has been amazing to watch and it feels like I was along on the journey with you. So glad that you were able to see the northern lights with your own eyes (even if the footage you got wasn't exactly what you were after). So so good. Look forwards to a return to Iceland video some time in the future
best video of 2023! you guys must be one of the most awesome channels on YT right now, always quality content (can you tell I loved the vid?) best wishes to ya both
Hey 👋 Sorry it’s taken me a while to see this one. It’s been on my watch list. 😊 What an amazing trip, despite it being challenging due to the weather, you captured your adventure well and what an incredible place to visit! Thank you for showing us around and sharing your Christmas Day 🤩
I’d be happy going to Iceland at any time. I think all the things that you said went ‘wrong’ just add to make your trip a truly special and memorable occasion. The northern lights were a true wow (and tears) moment 🌌
Hello Helen! Agree we were so thrilled with what we had already seen, it was truly a memorable experience for us both, especially so when it's a new place neither of us have been too. We're definitely keen to get back and fully explore in slightly better conditions 😊👍
Imagine two Floridians here in December. lol. We are planning a couple adventures here in April 2024 and again as our final part of our RTW drive. It should be warmer. Thank God!!!!!! Looks beautiful when you actually get some decent lighting. Also, I hope you like our geeky new channel name. We are rebranding to fit better with our mission to promote environmental and cultural preservation on our upcoming carbon-neutral UNESCO world tour. Cheers and keep up the fun. - Turtle
We were there last year and never saw them on a trip but we did see them from our balcony in the hotel in the city centre, in fact it was our last trip with our best friend before he died of cancer so that made it super special.
Sorry to hear about your friend Mark. Glad you managed to see them all together from within the city. They must have been good ones to penetrate through the city lights. Special memories no doubt 🤗
Iceland in the winter. For everyone who thinks, why? I would just say you need to tap into your adventurous side. If you don't have an adventurous side, now is the time to get one. #1 reason to go in winter- prices and crowds are WAY down.
Great vlog guys. What a wonderful experience. We intend to vanlife it over there for a month one day. Maybe we can form a convoy? Keep up the great work. Have a watch of @idavewilliams vlogs on the Northern Lights. He's currently in Lofoten, Norway have a ball in his van.
I’ve been there twice now and I think you’re missing a trick. I’d have gone in the summer time when it’s warmer and you have more daylight. Yes Iceland is beautiful in the winter but it’s better when you can see the colours of the landscape and where not everything is white. Here’s a couple of videos from my last trip. ruclips.net/video/8mVQfx1H_cQ/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/9oaXPDtPamE/видео.html
The most accurate weather app we was told to download by our tour guide is Vedur 👍 I think the snow came the days just before christmas for us ☺️ not 100% sure on what the weather is usually like!
I have been to Iceland and Norway, I don't think the northernlight tours are worth it as Auroras can change and not show up at all, therefore, wasting money.
It's true, there's no on and off switch for them, we got really lucky with ours. If the lights aren't your thing, the country is packed with lots of sightseeing options, (even if they are all a bit pricey). Thanks for watching this one!!
@HayandKyle I follow NOAA report of the sky plus vedur.is with their predictions and I got lucky everytime we had clear skies. Im planning to go again in March.
Visited in October which having watched your film was definitely the right decision, we were thinking of going this year in December but won't now, cheers guys
Haha happy to have helped. 😅 To be fair our first couple of days were great and the weather was kind, but we'd now also consider going at a different time of year 👍
Wow,wow, wow…….this is amazing views! Absolutely fantastic! We have to put it in our lists. Thank you for such awesome sharing 😍❤️👍👍
Hi, that was great, I have really enjoyed all three videos 📹 thanks, can't wait for what you will show us next 😀
Thank you Pam 👍 😄 glad you enjoyed the series 😊 We should have a Peak District video out for our next video 👍😅
The final chapter love it a good Iceland experience classic hayandkyle 👍👍👍

Do you recommend traveling with a tour to Iceland? I would like to see the south coast in winter but I have never driven in snow.

Definitely sold on Iceland and especially at Winter. Shame about the road blocks etc, but luckily you got to see that beautiful waterfall.

We are thinking of going in December. Can you kindly share which tour companies you used. Thanks.
Everything we booked was through TUI and Viators 😊👍
Mate what is the NL tour you went with?
Same in February last year had most things cancelled. Going in April this year. 🤞X
🤞 fingers crossed for you that you'll get to see what you want 😅👍 April sounds like a good time to go 😊
Hi Kyle and Haley! I'll be traveling to Iceland in December, with which tour operator did you book your tours? 😀
Hello! We used TUI as our operator whilst we were over there and also Viator! 🤗 Thanks for watching!
I just received a radioactive pulse from the volcano. Now helium 3 is heading back to Iceland

@@HayandKyle thank you, I’ll be visiting then I pray I have more sunlight 😆
