Thanks for sharing, Shelley! Good recommendation! I love lobster, so that soup sounds amazing. And I’ve never had black licorice ice cream, but I’d be willing to try it the next time we’re there. Thanks again!
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing the foods of iceland !! Im 60 and retired nurse who wants to retire to iceland. Husband is 62 and thinks im crazy 🤣. I love cold, snow and ice so why not ?
I love video. Very relaxing and good pace. It reminds me of Snow on Wall Street in NYC. Lamb stew look like our beef stew. Hot dogs are good junk food anytime. 😃
Great video! Thanks for sharing! We're spending a day in Reykjavik in June before our cruise. It's great to learn ahead where some good places you eat are.
Thanks, Rick! We appreciate the kind words! That’s great that you’ll be visiting Reykjavik soon. It’s truly an amazing place to see, with very friendly people and lots of unique things to experience. We have some additional footage that we’re posting soon on what grocery stores are like in Iceland. We wanted to give people an idea of what to expect in terms of products, prices, etc.
@@New2NapaI look forward to more videos. We're going with a large tour group, so we may not have time to shop for groceries, but I look forward to watching your next video just the same. We will be in Reykjavik about a day and a half. On our full day there, we are going to the Blue Lagoon. We are staying at the city centre. So walking distance will be nice.
@@Colin3360 Hi Colin. That’s great that you’ll be able to go back to Iceland. It’s such a fun place. We stayed at the Center Hotels Plaza, which has a wonderful breakfast buffet. We also spent one night at the Reykjavik Dome, a fun spot on the outer edge of the city. We posted a mini tour of the dome here: ruclips.net/video/DNJeyzF4xx0/видео.html. Hope this helps! Have a great trip!
2021 spent Time in IceLand ... while I did stay in Above Average Hotels .. EACH and Every One had a Top Shelf / World Class Dinner. In Reykjavik .. Pink Pig / Apotocary and even The Laundry were Top Shelf Food
Although you showed the food you ordered, I was very disappointed that you did not discuss the flavors or texture or anything that food tasters are curious about. Just one comment about “crunchy stuff” in the hotdog. Sorry but you missed the mark.
Our favourite place to eat in Reykjavik was the SeaBaron! Their lobster soup is to die for!!! Another favourite was black licorice ice cream!! Yum!!
