Matthew’s incredible determination to not only stay sober but to help others achieve sobriety is just so admirable and makes me even sadder about his passing. I had no idea he established a sober living house for men in Malibu and was there for Hank, and so many others, and I respect him so much for his contributions. So even though Matt thinks that he’ll only be remembered for Friends, but I now will remember him for his strength and compassion.
His legacy should be that he saved so many other people with similar issues. The rest was his journey, with its own unique demons. No-one has the right to judge that - the human brain has more neural pathways than there are stars in the galaxy. We are all too unique to presume we know all the answers to other people’s struggles. God bless this gentle, wonderful, brilliant individual. So sad.
He said he wanted to be remembered for helping others get sober and not for his Friends role. Matthew, I think you did. I know you impacted more than you know. You were loved.
If you’re watching this and you haven’t seen Hank Azaria in Brockmire, drop everything and watch it. It’s absolutely hilarious, and has a beautiful story of recovery.
I saw a lot of people on social medias in the last few months say Hank Azaria is just a funny guy. That makes me feel there's some kind of great injustice here. In my own personal opinion, Hank Azaria is a great actor, he can play anything, anyone, and you're still hooked. And with this video he also shows himself as a sensitive, nice, respectful and incredible person. He's brave enough to publically speak about a terrible disease he has to cope with...Not everyone could do that. As for me, I used to have nightmares about his performance as Kahmunrah in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. One day I decided to watch him again in another movie, and it was Tuesdays with Morrie, and his performance made me cry a lot. Then I discovered Eulogy and he made me laugh like, crazy. You can tell he knows what embodying a character means, his facial expressions are truly not the same from Night at the Museum to Eulogy. His moves, his way of speaking, everything makes me say he is not only "the guy from the Simpsons", he is far more than that, and a remarkable, admirable human being, with his flaws and his strenghs. ... Sorry, this was out of the blue, but I needed to express my feelings. And please forgive me if there's any mistake in my text, I'm French ^^' I hope Hank Azaria will manage to mourn Matthew Perry peacefully and have a wonderful career and private life.
in my life i have never cried over no actor , he is my first. Thank you for everything Matt. No more CHAN CHAN MAN :( .

Oh you helped so many people. Not only the people who came up to you.
Also the people who watched your movies/tv show.

Moe From The Simpsons went to AA .... 😂 That's so ironic and awesome 😅
Must be really difficult to have millions upon millions and never have to work a day job again..
Tough life
From Chandler , Come on LET IT OUT .
He really started to look a lot like Jack Nicoles as he got older
54 is pretty old for the DECADES of usage tbh

Sorry, *NO REFUNDS.*
The voice over sounds weird
Is this the guy from Friends as well?
He played David the Scientist guy that Phoebe dated on and off
In The Simpsons, he's voiced several characters, some of them are Moe and Apu.
He is also in American Sweerheart
It's so sad and tragic Perry could help others, but not himself.
next time you encounter someone dealing with addiction - pull a Mattman - be a Perry - lets never forget this dude. - never
"Pull a mattman" He died. Don't encourage others. You know NOTHING of addiction.
he was weak
I think he was actually tougher than he looked tbh
