Thank you very much for watching! :)
❤ I did this on my 2013 Dodge dart limited 1.4L. The multi air turbo version. My ECU connections are in the back on the firewall. Worked like a charm!
Spark plugs, coil packs, idle pulley, tension pulley, serpentine belt, control arms, struts, stabilizer links, inner tie rod, jumper hose, wheel bearings, multiple engine mounts (still going through them till this day, 4 different mounts already)
ENOUGH ALREADY!! Wife’s car is a 2014 Dart 2.0. Good thing I can able to help.
My next project is to figure out where all this coolant is spraying out of on a Ford
I have a 2016 dart. Looks the same under the hood. Replaced coil 3 and seemed to be good. As soon as my son gets back with it, I will check it and update you
Hoping it works!!
it worked on my 2014 dart. thank you.
Awesome!! Thank you for taking the time to comment
Helped clear my check engine light on my '16 2.4L good shit thank you sir
Happy to help! Thanks for the comment!!
What was the check engine light for?
I was having the same issue with this car, 2015 2.4 and was getting a code for the vvt senor. What it turned out to be was I had just changed the oil and used 5-20 instead of 0-20. After I changed the oil to 0-20 all was good again. Be sure to use the correct oil grade on these cars
Good to know!
Not just grade, but frequency. The oil is crucial for the MultiAir unit. You start sludging up and its toast.
Thanks man I did that in my car working fine. Thanks for sharing. God bless you. Good job.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! I love to hear people saving a trip to the mechanic
for my 2016 Dart with 2.0L i had trouble starting it. once started it would be fine or if warm fine. i added carb cleaner to gas and it works fine now.
Mines doing the same thing as yours and also has super bad gas mileage … before you did this was your gas mileage bad ?
2016 dodge dart 2.0L se it worked thank you so much..omw to get my money back
This makes it worth the time to make the video ❤️🥰 Thank you for letting me know!
The computer?
Did everything too .but ima try this❤❤
Goodluck, Feel free to keep me updated!
I have the wiring diagram, so feel free to ask questions. If you are getting multiple error codes that go through this plug, this is almost certainly your problem
Dude 2013 Limited 2.0l , I had already pulled this off and flipped coils and plugs. Did new coils and plugs had a new coil fail😢 then did a new pcv valve, 2 weeks ago did fuel injectors, one new one was bad out of box. Told my kid that's it I'm ordering a wire harness cause when I had a good look over I found Dodge dealer had spliced in new plug/ wires to oil sensor. I think they cut them putting engine cover back on throttle body. They chopped back tape, when I unwound this part I found it. Well I was looking for diagram online and was just going to go thru harness with ohm meter. Had it all apart couldn't find diagram so I put it back together and so far 2 weeks it still running good. I actually wondered if a pin was not making contact. Soooo dumb but so simple😢
2013 2.0l, I replaced the thermostat and afterward it threw p2122, p0123, c0300 codes as well as the oil pressure sensor code. None of them were a problem prior to replacing the thermostat so I'm assuming I hooked something up wrong but I cant figure out what..any ideas?
Do you unhook the battery before you unhook that link, or can you just leave the battery hooked up
It never hurts to disconnect the negative side of your battery
Thank you. That did the trick for my car. Ty ty ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for taking the time to comment!! Makes me happy to know my video is helping!
@@NoProblemRepairs Yes it helped more then you know. You have a new subscriber. 😁👍🏻
I've the Turbo. That connector isn't present.
Happen to know where it is for the 1.4L?
I guess it’s behind the engine under the windshield
Change the spark plugs, coil pack's, clean your air/oil separator and PCV valve, install a catch can on the PCV side, clean your throttle body, ( take it off and do it right. ) and put a bottle of seafoam in your gas and oil ( read the instructions and you'll be fine).
Don't miss your oil changes it's crucial for the MultiAir.
Also, cool your car down, and it extends the life of your turbo.
Did you ever find what was the problem?
I have the same dart 13 SXT standard, almost with 100k miles
About to buy a 16' dart with the same 2.0 for my daughters first car it has a rough idle the steering wheel vibration is pretty bad just sitting there idling. Car doesn't have a check engine light on so I assume it has no codes. If the deal goes through I'll try your fix and let you know how it goes. Thank you!
Theyre also pretty notorious for having a bad control arm bar that could cause that. If it's that, it won't kill your car, just an inconvenience. A dealership will charge you +$800 to "fix it" lol
@@NoProblemRepairs Thank you bud I will look into that! Luckily I have mechanic relatives and access to the a commercial account at the local auto parts stores lol . Thanks again friend!
One possible cause could be the motor mounts. The OEM ones are notorious for wearing out pretty fast
Yeah Motor Mount, Spark Plugs, Ignition Coils, the Air Temperature Sensor, Check for Vacuum Leaks too. My Dart has the same issues, check your Idles too. See if they're running at 800RPM or 600RPM. I noticed when it ruins at 600RPM it shakes.
Thank you very much ❤
Thank you! Knowing its helping makes me very happy ❤️
It worked thanks
That makes the video worth the time, it makes me happy to hear it!!
@@NoProblemRepairsyou’re mvp. Thanks for not being selfish n making the vid
Yes mine is #4
You see what you wanna do is.... sell it.
🤣 so I could buy somebody else's headache? You wanna buy it?
Wouldn't you have to give the next person the same advice?
My dart currently at 140k. I’ve put 100k on it and haven’t had a problem. People shit on dodge but I haven’t had problems period
Smoke is coming from my 2014 Dodge dart muffler, and it is misfiring check engine light is on
Sorry i missed your comment, did you ever get it figured out?
I couldn't get that one Plug of the ECM when I went to replace the Motor Mounts with the Toggle Lock UP. Really stuck on good! Any way to remove it without breaking it? What is safe to spray on it to clean up?
The plastic from the engine heat gets brittle, its very possible it breaks. As for cleaner when you get it off you can pick up a can of electrical contact cleaner at any autopart store, I'd reccomend disconnecting the battery just to be safe
@@NoProblemRepairs Thanks, I may just leave it as is. I managed to get the Mounts in... despite the headache. The battery is always disconnected whenever I'm working around Electrical Components!
Hi i have a question ❓
Did you ever get a code on your dart like this
)⚡(
And if so can you help me figure out what it can be?
The code is a lightning bolt? Where is it located?
@@NoProblemRepairs it's located on the dash board on the left hand side
@@user-pp9kx3vv9myou sure that’s a code and not your tire pressure sensor?
Sooo, battery is still connected? Car is turned on, or off? before I unplug this connector.
Great question, disconnecting the negative from the battery first is never a bad idea
Do you know where this is at on the 1.4?
I forgot I commented this but if anyone else was wondering, it's dead center in behind the engine, kind of just a little under the windshield. Just looks a little different than the one in this video.
Thank you for sharing!!
I see two connectors … do we blow on both of them ?
Can't hurt
2013 - 2016
Im going to try this!! Can I clean it off with isopropyl?
Isopropyl alcohol should work! I used a spray electrical cleaner. It's pretty much the same exact thing but a lot less messy than trying to clean by pouring liquid on something.
@@NoProblemRepairs ok that’s awesome! Soooo I cannot figure out how to get the thing unplugged! Do I lift that red thingy up? I feel like Im going to break it and Im scared!
@C Brown I'm sorry for the delay, I stopped getting notifications. Yes, lifting the red lever is how it's supposed to come off. I can make a video showing you & what to do if it is broken if you're still interested.
Edit: Video is shot, will have editing/uploading done soon
@@NoProblemRepairs that would be awesome, Id be interested in literally any videos you have about this particular vehicle. It seems like it has so many weird problems!! Thank youuuuu
FYI, I recommend that you spray all of your automotive electrical connections, etc. with WD-40 Electrical Contact Spray as it works quite well!
Tried it, didn’t do anything.
If you want to see if it is the coil that's bad before you buy one, you can swap the one giving the error with a good one, and the error code should change to represent that coil
Is the misfire on #4 ??
I honestly don't remember what cylinder was misfiring its been so long 🤞
Mine is #4 why do you ask that
Would my car stop shaking?
If the shaking is from a misfire, yes most likely. If its from something like the control arm bar, no. Do you have a check engine light?
@@NoProblemRepairs yeah it has the check engine light
@Cristian Covarrubias then there's a good chance it will help. You can take it to any autoparts store, and they'll scan the code for free to narrow the problem down further
My 2015 dodge dart sxt 2.4l has an engine misfire code p0300... multiple misfire
I took the cover off, cant unplug the wires
Pull the red lever up
@@NoProblemRepairs what if the cover comes off but not the wiring harness
@@noahhans💀
Did not work for 2015 sxt
Do you have a check engine light? If so, what was the code?
@NoProblemRepairs first it was my #3 fuel injector. I fixed that. Now it's the oil sensor and the grill flap?
