The comments here are appalling, it's a wonder what a life free of war and starvation will do to a person: render them so obtusely sure that they are worth more than others.
@@maclectic don't be ridiculous: no one leaves people behind by choice. Often the effort is for one person to escape their circumstances so they can bring their family over in a less dangerous way. How about providing camps and safe zones to prevent them from making dangerous journeys across the sea? I love how Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar don't even bat an eye on helping them and yet we're the bad ones because some of us are tired of the influx of people who don't assimilate, commit crimes, and drain the economy.

Alexsandra Amaral in immigration men often come first and bring back enough money to bring the kids and mom to their country. They cant afford to lose the wife and kid. Because if the man is lost, the family can still be stable.

do you mind explaining more about your response? I am currently in production of a documentary about refugees and would love to know your view on the subject.
One of the most spellbinding and emotive films I’ve ever seen. The humanity in this film, both in front and behind the camera is astounding.
This is a documentary but it looks like a well made and real movie with beautiful cinematography.
I am gonna watch it
This movie really has stuck with me. It's phenomenal.
GREAT MOVIE! I saw it last night...Breathtaking beauty and pathos
An excellent, important film.
Such a powerful trailer.
I'm going to leave a comment just to remind me not to scroll down into the comments because I know exactly what I'm going to see.

Oh, this isn't Deep Water Horizon trailer. Never mind.
It is a very painful and sad situation. But it doesn't mean Europe can or should take them in.
are you saying that the fact that it's sad and painful isn't a reason to help them?
Send them back.
Yup.
Help them first.

Where is the fire? I didn't see any fire. If it was called Dragons at Sea, we'd see dragons right?
I see more men than women and children.
