Eddie, playing solo, once had to refuse a fan who offed a $5,000 donation to a cause to hear black because he didn't know how to play it on guitar. Boom was at the show they ended up playing the song with just a organ and Eddie. Pretty rad.
It was only awkward when Ed stepped back for the last verse. The guy was clearly being given the chance to send it home but he either chickened out (it’s the hardest part after all) or maybe he just wasn’t thinking straight and wanted to let Ed finish his song. When he needed to shift his chair back and extend his arm just to reach Ed I was definitely cringing. Almost like watching a guy be completely oblivious to a girl’s advances. That could’ve been his moment lol.
