I’m living the digital nomad lifestyle rn so I don’t really travel around with much and I’m from St. Croix so I have things here! I officially moved off island with the majority of my things last year (to St. Thomas which is just a 20 min plane ride away and then started traveling) and have been back to visit a few times since. This is just the longest I’ve been back since leaving.
Currently here and I really want to move back to be close with my family. How is it finding work? I work for the gov and Idk how well that transfers over here
moving back home is definitely an adjustment but i'm all for locals moving back! it really depends on your field but keep checking indeed/linkedin/vidolviews/vista+ or the DOP website for government jobs if you want one here.
Stx is beautiful but very run down and old lots of abandoned buildings roads are not great nor much night life public transportation work opportunities or even stores to shop definitely needs to upgrade but hey at least the beach is pretty 😅 hopefully in time things will progress
