Cooked yogurt is the most unhealthiest thing ever for your guts. Onec a month is okay, not more.
As an Indian, I'm impressed by this. My only suggestion would be to add some ginger and garlic paste to the chicken marinade. It will take the flavour profile to another level. Keep it up brother 💪
Thank you!
Oh yess! They'll increase the flavour 10x no🧢!
@@yudi8204 bruh the DISH IS INDIAN 💀
@@yudi8204 because butter chicken is Indian food
@@yudi8204 not a problem 😀I'm sure you didn't know:)
This has become my favorite cooking channel, to the point that my roommates comments on how often I cook your recipes. You prove that eating healthy doesn't have to mean eating flavorless chicken & rice. Thank you!
Thank you so much for saying this. That is the entire point of this channel
In this case, flavoured chicken and rice.
by FAR
ive never seen someone making so many LITERALLY really really easy meals with such good macros. Watching the vids is a pure joy
thank you so much ☺️
Mentioning what ingredients that you're replacing is legendary. Can't wait to try this recipe!
I actually appreciate that you mentioned the high calorie ingredients that you're removing, because I'm trying to bulk and WANT all of those in the dish. This way both bulking and cutting viewers can learn how to make a good dish for them.
Thank you!

🤦🏼♂️
My thoughts exactly! Just made it with the higher calorie version and good lord is it tasty.
Just one thing, never ever skip either one of Ginger or Garlic with Indian cooking. They complete each other
No its smelly
We're Indian and we never cook with them- everyone LOVES our food. Some Indians don't eat onions either- there are always substitutions
I agree. Ginger and garlic go hand in hand
Dude this has become my main staple! Amazing, super easy and healthy. I add some red peppers and it's 🔥 . I've made this like 5-6 times since I've watched this!
Thank you so much. I'm so glad you like it :)
Thank you so much for this recipe, I made it tonight and it was sooo good! I ate it with cauliflower rice and it was so satisfying and filling. It helped me hit my calorie and protein goal without going over. Definitely adding this into my weekly rotation. You’re amazing!
I just made it, only changes were I added some salt and ginger to the sauce with more paprika. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Already telling my friends and family about your channel & recipes! Thank you so much :)
Thank you :) I'm really glad you liked it
The right word is "gravy". In India the word sauce is used exclusively for western condiments. The word gravy or curry is more appropriate for the liquid or semi-liquid part of such dishes.
I just made this today using this recipe for the first time with the suggestions from the top comment and it was absolutely amazing! The laughing cow cheese and the evaporated milk are genius ideas. I made it in a 1kg chicken portion and the best part is that the ingredients like the canned diced tomato and one can of evaporated milk were just enough for no waste. A part of cooking with canned items I really dislike is when I don't need all of it or when I just need a little more than what is contained so this works out very well in the end with no waste! Great macros and recipe overall.
Just copied the recipe but went ahead and put that butter and cream in it… I ate it all. The whole 1.5 lbs of chicken and 3 cups of rice. It’s amazing. Cannot wait to make this again. 🔥🔥🔥
Incredible work. My wife was craving butter chicken and I meal prepped this for us and its delicious
Dude, you don't know what you have done. Butter chicken was my favourite dish but I've not eaten it for last 3 years. Now I'm gonna cook for myself my favourite this your way. Thanks.
After i found out how much heavy cream and butter/dairy in general was in this dish i immediately stopped eating anywhere, especially when i became to sensitive to dairy. So i definitely will try it this way.
I'm spilling half of that on my lap. That is a FULL bowl, dude.
I always liked Germans because of their practical way of thinking and straightforwardness and this video is a good example
What a recipe! So great!
I put my chicken breast under the grill in the oven for 10 minutes until I see very dark charring, I think with the yoghurt marinade it doesnt dry out as easily. The chicken thighs that I can get here release a lot of fat (even after trimming all the visible fat) and water, so I dont really like to use them. I also use 18% sour cream instead of cream in the end, because I couldn't get low fat evaporated milk and the cheese where I live. 25g is enough for one portion or butter chicken and it gives it the same color and creaminess as heavy cream at only 50 kcal:)
My portion comes down to 426 kcal, 10 g fat, 10 g carbs, 67 g protein:)
Just made this for dinner and I can safely say its absolutely delicious! A couple of minor tweaks I made for my own palate:
1) I whizzed up the sauce in the blender. I prefer the texture and you get a more consistent flavour
2) I added some frozen spinach at the end for extra healthy goodness, and to fill out the meal a bit more.
Love your videos dude, thank you so much!
Felu, you are the man. Made this today and it actually took 15 min. Very tasty and love your small hacks. I always have laughing cow in my fridge now. Next stop to the Asian shop for gochujang!
Keep up the good work
Thank you! Gochujang is the goat, you can use it for almost everything
Never appreciated a RUclipsr so much in life. Thanks for all your videos!
I just made a double batch of this recipe, absolutely amazing. I also made your Italian Shirataki noodle recipe last night. Luckily my scale could switch to grams because you have converted me to the metric system for cooking 😂
Love your channel 100%... Staying healthy does not have to be boring!! Please keep on doing what you are doing and bring in more delicious recipes...🙏🏻
Thank you. I will keep going as long as I can :)

perfect timing as the evenings get cooler 😍 would love to see any recipes for flatbreads with good macros (another opportunity to cook with yoghurts 😉) and high(er) protein chai lattes if you've experimented with those
Great idea!
Just cooked this yesterday, i live in Indonesia, so most of our groceries don't have passata and garam masala. So i tried to made my own passata and replace garam masala with a spice called ngohiong, and it still tastes great! this is probably gonna be one of my go-to for healthy chicken dishes.
Ngo hiong is Chinese five-spice powder, which will result in quite a different taste, but still good I'm sure. Five-spice is always interesting.
What an amazing video brother, tasty, high in protein and low calorie. Love and respect from India 💪🏻.
Just cooked this. Used condensed milk instead of evaporated milk..... omg it was amazing! Tasted sweet like a korma but without the coconut. Added a few extra spices also to give it a little kick. Try it
Can’t wait for the cookbook to come out
when does it come out?
I'm very close to release it. stay tuned
This man is a godsend for actual tasty dishes when on a clean diet 👏👍thank you!
made this last night and it was a hit. definitely gonna keep making this whenever i crave for butter chicken! thank youuuu!!!
Eventhough i am Indian, i have never tried this. Now I'll surely try this recipe 👍🏻
Is this a popular dish throughout India? Because I am Mexican, and I cook butter chicken ever other week, I find myself eating Indian food more and more,
@@soldieron9965 It's more popular in northern parts. It's origin also from Punjab, north India.
@@soldieron9965 Yes it is a popular dish in India especially in North and North West India.
Made this recipe last night and my family loved it! Great channel!
Thank you and I'm so happy that your family liked it :)
chicken marinade defo needs more seasoning. otherwise a pretty good low cal recipe.
Epic healthy version, definitely got me wanting to cook chicken once again while still getting stronger and staying in shape 🔥🍗💪 Greetings from a new Swedish sub in Beijing 🌆🏯
Found this a few months ago and Its been on my weekly recipe
I precook a bunch of chicken thighs BLSL on my smoker and it definitely adds another layer of flavor.
Been looking for a healthy butter chicken recipe! Ty!!
Incredible recipe! Out of all the butter chicken I've tried in the LA area (in restaurants ), only ONE... is better than this one. Recipe has become a regular occurrence at our home. Thanks Felu!
thank you so much 😊
Just use ginger garlic paste. It’s more traditional. Peeling and mincing can get tedious.
I use coconut condensed milk in my butter chicken. Try ittttt. So good 🔥also I go half n half with jasmine rice and cauliflower rice to boost volume and feel like I'm eating more "rice" with less cals ❤️
That sounds amazing, I will try to find coconut condensed milk, thank you!

Bodybuilders: chicken and plain rice
India: that’s cute
Used to be quite fit but I let myself go a bit. I'm 6ft 1 and I weighed 230 pounds with little to no discernable muscle mass. Meals like these will help me get back to where I was thank you!!
Tried something similar to this, but with margarine and evaporated milk, and it turned out great!
Pay attention folks the man making this is lean and healthy trust the process
Im going to try this but im going to use margarine and plain yogurt for the creamy taste. Also using way more onion and going to puree it just like the original recipe
Evaporated milk and laughing cow cheese is brilliant. I always make this dish and when I’m portioning out my meals during fasting cycles I can never eat enough of this to get full broth your tip I can now eat an extra pita with my portions 😎😎
How many calories if I use 1% milk instead of the evaporated milk?
I'll probably add ginger and garlic paste to your recipe. Looks tasty, I can only eat low fat and calories right now. Trying to find more recipes like this to not always eat the same thing over and over and over and over 😂
Your channel is the answer, so far I have a long list of recipes to make this week. Thanks and please, never stop
This looks amazing and I love Indian food. I am going to have to try it.

Oh my goodness.... This honestly exceeded my expectations! So super delicious, and healthy too!! Thank you so incredibly much for sharing this wonderful recipe!
Thank you, glad you liked it :)
This is just a form of kadhai chicken or chicken bhuna masala. Butter chicken is something else.
I can get two large meals down the road here at syndey for only $25 its amaxing value it lasts for more than a whole day most of the time i dont wanna cook
This looks delicious, I will cook this tomorrow!
If you are a German student like me, BELIEVE ME... This guy is a Life Saver.
Omg I made this but with a few unexpected changes!! Well it wasn’t exactly changes, I just had forgotten to get those items at the grocery store lol.
I replaced the evaporated milk with ALMOND MILK 30 calories per cup.
The cow wedge replaced it with the LIGHT cow wedge which is 30 calories and 2g of protein.
Also had to use pasta sauce lmao 🤣 not the type that was listed.
I had forgotten to get those items yet I replaced them…well let me TELL YOU…
It came out AMAZING!!
I let it all simmer for about 20-30 minutes because I was worried the almond milk wasn’t going to do anything and make it watery and nasty. I was wrong!! It was creamy and supper delicious!! Will make it again but not with pasta sauce lol 😂. I’ll remember to get the proper tomato sauce.
Glad you liked it :)
There are other more healthier alternatives for oil to make butter chicken. You can research upon it (watch other RUclips videos)…..you can still make your recipe more healthier.
Nevertheless GREAT JOB!!!!
never thought about using those cheese triangles in a recipe, ima try this out this weekend :)
This recipe is extremely similar to the Brazilian Stroganoff, instead of yogurt we use Mayo or Olive oil, instead of the heavy cream we use table cream(Creme de leite), we also use Ketchup and Mustard and some different spices.
Interesting, thank you
Wow! What a great find!! Thank you so much!
Thank u for finding good replacements for cream n butter. Completely avoiding them changes the recipe too much
I found you today, and Lord knows how thankful I am !!! I was tired of always watching mukbangs to curb my food cravings..but this is amazing!!
Really glad you are here, welcome :)
Great. This is my family’s favorite dish. And now I can finally cook a calorie friendly version. 😊
Hope you enjoy it :)
Made this today and it was absolutely amazing, thanks as always
Great to hear :)
1 tip - always add the garam masala at the end when cooking is done. It's not meant to be cooked.
thanks for the tip
Does your book/video cover any nice recipes for those like me who try eating meat etc chicken :) and a lot of veges. Such as paprika, broccoli and spinach those are my fav hehe. Do you have any tips on a good sauce or sauce´s ?
my book is actually full of recipes with chicken and vegetables
More like 30min for all that work, but the recipe is good.
Thank you. I just made this today. Tastes amazing!
BUTTER and HEALTHY in same sentence :D
Beautiful dish however if anyone notices their pan steaming and the chicken is burning just remove from the heat
Chicken Breast is pretty valid as well.
Lmao I'm Indian and my parents would always make me eat this. Thanks mom and dad for keeping me healthy.
Indian parents? Skimping out on the butter and cream?? What
I made this the other night, it was phenomenal! Anyone know if it can be done to similar effect in a slow cooker?
First time on the channel. Definitely will be trying this, thank you for sharing 😍
Hope you enjoy :)
Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi please
just founf your channel. so easy because you listed all the ingredient with its measured gram. perfect for my busy schedule i dont need to think anymore
Hope you enjoy!
This turned out very good. We did Greek yogurt for the cream and it turned out delicious 😋
Sounds great, thanks for the feedback!
Hmm but with Rice that's like 800-900 kcal. Good recipe. You can add a lot more vegetables for extra 100kcal, and blend it before dropping chicken in, to thicken the sauce
Never thought I'd hear healthy and butter chicken in the same sentence.
This looks great! I hope you don’t mind that I saved this video to my watch later so my mom and I can make this. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks very much. Will try it today
That plate is fighting for its life
Just dropping in to say dope video like always. You will hit 1m one day
Thank you!
Its very good good but 15 minutes is cap
Definitely going to try this out
This recipe is GOATED!!
This was amazing. I thought Indian food was going to have to be for a cheat day. Not anymore!
Thank you so much!!
This looks delicious. I love butter chicken but avoid because it increase my belly fat. I would try your way now.
Just wanted to add. Try small pan and more oil for cooking chicken. Chicken should dip half inside the oil. Cover the lid for 5 min and toss it other side and cover for another 5 min.
Your chicken would be tender as paneer.
Regards. 🙏🏻👍
This is a channel for people that want to lose weight. DIpping chicken half in oil is not a good idea way to achieve this but thanks for the tip.
@@Felu Okay. Thanks kindly. 👍
Hey! Just a quick tip. I saw you using an oil sprayer, which is great for reducing the amount of oil you use. But I think you are using a pressure can. The pressure cans are not that environmental friendly and there are some great substitutes out there. Personally I use oil spray that you power by hand. It's also great because you can refill it, or buy multiple and have different kinds of oil in them :)
Quick note: Not all of them are very good. Because of the viscosity of oil, the spray can thingys can't really spray the oil and it just comes out as a straight stream, which kinda sucks if you want an even coating of oil
Made it tonight, it was wonderful, thanks!
Nice, glad you liked it :)
Been trying to eat tasty without losing the nutrients. Subscribed
Ooooh om gonna make that.Simply genius 🤩🤩
I need the Felu cookbook!
to get the butter flavour add the cheese he said or plain 0% greek yogurt 1:1 ratio and add butter extract for the butter flavour
