I never made the connection between what was going on in the console and turning off the resonance rings. Very well demonstrated and explained!
Good job explaining the puzzle. When I first did it, I didn't even know what the buttons on the console did. I just went to the first resonance ring where the ball would go through and walked around the entire track. I just figured that I should start at the first position on the dial (10 o'clock) and worked my way around them in a counterclockwise fashion at each new resonance ring. Solved it on my first try. :D
This Let's Play is fantastic, thanks for doing this. Just caught up, hope the next installment comes out soon!
God, I simply LOVE how you edit the audio!
I feel like the colors correspond to the puzzles themselves- the green circle with the green rocks; the blue circle with the blue lights above each frequency. Either that or they're random coincidences.
kinda love the ambient music track called "Libra's Lever" after this puzzle. It may sound kinda trashy wellness music - but in my opinion it contains one of the finest usages of the oboe instrument!
ROTFL @10:57"And that is really *low frequency*" XD
This is the story of the intelligent hero and the endangered glass ball.
Watch as the clever hero alters the sound gates to save the glass balls shattering fate!
Has anyone noticed that the full spectrum of sounds in the Spider Spinner sounds similar to a part of Amateria's theme?

@victorianrobot I was thinking Toilet Twister... but yeah yours makes more sense.
YAY!!!! A NEW VIDEO!!!! I love the LP Shady, Keep up the good work! :)
Man, that "low frequency" line caught me off guard for a second there XD
A picture is a thousand videos.
So I got bored and, assuming that we're running at 30 FPS, you've got 26910 pictures in this video. So... it's just 26.91 times the amount you said ;)
And I must say, I've never seen that video transition like that before. Very bizarre!
Nice explanation as usual. It's amazing all the details that I missed long ago that all make sense now.
Heh, yeah that painting is really creepy...
Your use of logic on these puzzles is quite frankly fascinating. :P
Stars surrounding sunstorms
I solved this puzzle on my first try actually. I just walked through each ring in the order that the sphere would travel, and switched each lever. Starting from the first ring, I switched the lever to the first setting. The lever on the second ring gets switched to the second setting, and so on....
Dustin Gearhart '-' :'(
Gratuitously, growing greenery?
@LatestUFOSightings I had a 15 minute time limit... I went as slow as I could.
when you talk you sound so smart
Luckily none of those fequencies were the brown note!
Uhm Shady, if you have an iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad I'd like to note that the iOS version of Riven will be coming out pretty soon now. 2 weeks or something. Just thought i'd let you know.
Re: description -- Aural arrangement. :P
@pornace I like! Got anything for the other locations?
