    Hi, came across your video while searching for LG reviews. I’ve had a Samsung that looks identical to yours that just died after about 5 years or so and am considering LG after a very positive experience with an LG two in one washing machine/dryer and someone else’s microwave. My Samsung was great but I agree it was too dark inside and the buttons are less sensitive than others but still perfectly usable. It just decided it had heated enough food amd chose to retire. Still makes all the right noises and the light goes on etc, but no heat. I’m not criticising Samsung, just posting my experience with this microwave. May just get another one and just keep going or the LG, will give it some more thought.

      Thank you for sharing your journey. Strangely enough my experience with LG is polar opposite. The new fridge came in defective and 3x Neochief microwaves developed same fault after 2 years each. What's most disturbing is that LG service was almost equal 0. I'm not actually comparing Samsung to LG. But after do much trouble with the LG appliances I decided to stay away.

    Real simple to choose. You go to a large appliance repair business that deals directly with Company’s Warranty’s..
    And you asked the technicians who work on all the different kind of units what is the most reliable unit that you would buy for your self or your family as a gift? .
    And you’ll get an honest answer directly from the technicians, who actually work on the .

      @GregYurchenko  2 года назад +1

      I'm totally with you on that one. After a lot of research and reading I'd suggest you make your decision based on following sequence. Size (litres) > power (watts) > warranty (lengths) > price > features (e.g. inverter, lights, timers, smart functions). I truly believe because most of them manufactured in Asia with little or no quality control brand names mean nothing. In my case I ended up with Samsung (2 year warranty) which I extended by another 2 and paid total of $270. Is this a best deal for the best MW? Definitely not. However it has right price for the bearable set of functions with warranty long enough to justify the price. Hope it helps. Thank you for watching!

    LG SolaDom Convection Microwave Oven is the Best I have ever had for the past 15 years only had to change the bulb once and still works perfectly. You can microwave heat food in tinfoil dishes plus with steel racks and it is a proper convection oven that preheats to 200c in two minutes. MA3884VC SolarDom Oven, 38 Litre Capacity, Charcoal Lighting Heater, True Oven with Bottom Grill under the rotating steel tray for even cooking. This will replace your kitchen oven.

      Thanks for sharing your journey. I admit, I was mostly exclusively LG appliance believer 10 - 15 years ago. Something changed in the last 5 ish years. I got their fridge that arrived DOA. Then 3 of those microwaves gone with a same fault within a year of their use. What is worse... Is their support in Australia. As soon as I needed their help they did everything to make me feel like I need to work hard to get their support. I real, real hope that one day they can restore my faith in their product. However, as the aim of my channel is not take sides, but cast out my personal experiences with modern items... So here is my experience with them so far. Thank you for sharing. I have 2 LG appliances in my house, 1 dial microwave that I plan to replace because after 10 years the bottom tray start to rust, the other is lg washing machine, also around 8 year old until my wife decide put some vodoo chemicals that damage the machine.
    I have nothing but good experience with LG, LG always have top reliability score for its fridge and washing machine, not sure about their microwave and dishwasher. Which we might consider to purchase soon.
    My Samsung fridge work but very noisy when the compressor kick in, all the plastic tray crack.
    Again even with this in mind I will not just discounted 1 products just because 1 of them not perfect.

      I'm 100% with you. LG appliances from 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago were very reliable and of the highest quality. In the span of 2 years (based on my previous amazing experience) I purchased LG NeoChef microwave that was failing with the same fault 3 years in the row. After replacing the 2nd one I decided if it happens once more I'll get another brand (honestly, didn't plan to go with the Samsung). The another one is I bough LG fridge/freezer which came dead on arrival. Not only i was bombarded with the bad quality LG goods their service in Australia is beyond shocking. Saying that, they're solid company and I real hope that they will lift up their game. For now I'll keep detailing my take on modern LG appliances as I experience them. Huge thank you for watching the video and sharing your LG journey!
