Nemesis099 just avoid too much water/ grease inside the oven, they infiltrate and may damage the plate motor, and other parts. I have two of the neochef plus one I bought overseas but fried due to frequency.
I have owned this model for a couple of years and here are my thoughts about it. My first one had a turntable motor failure just short of a year. It was under warranty and LG sent me a check for the purchase price when I showed proof that I bought a replacement. The second unit has performed well now for well over a year. The best feature is how evenly it cooks. Because of that, food seldom splatters so it doesn't need much in the way of cleaning. The timer will rest itself if you open the door before it has timed out. It does this after a few minutes as well as turns off the interior light even if the door is left open to air it out, a nice feature. It cooks quite fast, although after about one minute of running, it starts lowering the output until it is drawing about 700 watts less power than what it starts out with. This actually seems to be a benefit in how well it cooks, although I think it is how they keep the inverter from overheating. That first minute will draw over 2000 watts. It is easy to clean and I haven't had a problem with the wording wearing off the controls. Now for the not so good. You can't turn off that annoying tune it plays at the end of the cycle, nor can you adjust the volume. It also continues to play it five times to remind you to remove the food. It is VERY annoying when you are busy preparing other food when it finishes. You also can't choose anything less than increments of 10 seconds with the timer. Both of my units burned the food badly when using the auto cook feature and the popcorn setting will set off your smoke alarm every time. I have never been a fan of that feature anyway, so it doesn't bother me much but it is worthless. Its good points outweigh the bad and I would purchase it again if it holds up over the long haul.
I'm fine with the sound reminds me of a video game but my wife hates it. I have never liked the auto cook features in any microwave I've owned. I always set time and power level manually. It does cook very evenly which is really nice. As far as Popcorn I make that on the stove top because it tastes so much better than the microwave kind. Overall it is much better than the old microwave we had that was 15 years old and we are still glad we bought it.
