is there a way to export cacs? or is it just parts of a model?
Very informative
When i transfer to fbx then back to emd it extracts into different files instead of replacing the original emd any way to help?
I am trying to use fbxemd but nothing happens
I exported the fbx model correctly but the model is flipped down, how do i fix that?
How do you separate the legs so they can be used in ue5
I exported a hair model but it's too big and I'm not sure how that happend
i know this probably isn't going to be seen but im trying to take trunks cc clothes and remove the tank top from it so i can make a custom tank top outfit plz help.
OK so I did everything in the video right
But my model doesn't have any textures
Even after I edit the ID's in Mat Id it stays the same
is there anyway to import the textures to blender?
Question ?
How would you export a model when using Lazybones skeleton
I wanna keep the tail animations on the Bust
Do I export exactly like you did in the video or is there something else I shoukd do
Ok all I want to do is edit an outfit to remove some parts of it, but evertime I do it(even with this tutorial) the outfit becomes invisible ingame.
Hey sir
What if I wanna make a custom SS4 bust that has a piece of another model attached
Do I first make the custom model and then import the new model with the skeleton into Blender r do I just import everything in one go
how to get textures out
Could you do an in-depth explanation on how to create hair for this game in blender
Hello, thank u for the video. May i ask something, how can i add tail animation to ean file of moveset😂
Can this also work with dragon ball the breakers?
I really want to do animations with my character
i can't use none of the tools in the video every single one of them gives me an error (0xc000007b)
bro i need your help for something
Alright, so this is actually really helpful, I can make Nappa shirtless, Hell yeah
Okay I'm using this tutorial as a reference for shinobi striker modding. because I cant figure out why when I import a custom hair mesh in the game the custom hair doesn't move at all and is not in sync with the character moving. Ik they're to different games but Any thoughts on why this is happening?
you might have forgotten the skeleton, you MUST select the ".esk" file together with the EMD to the fbx emd file, or else the models will lose the physics
Hey, I'm trying to remove the lower curls from HUF hair 30, but can't seem to get it right. I can move the poly points one at a time but can't figure out how to make them snap. I can remove the poly's altogether but then there's just a hole there or a pink/blue texture. Is there a discord for XV2 modding tutorials or somewhere you learned it? thanks
There's a link in the description to Modding Community's Discord Server: The Citadel.
As for the hair model, seems you want to merge the vertices to each other.
Make sure you're in edit mode, vertex select, then you can select two vertices or more, hit M on keyboard, choose merge at first or last. (On older Blender versions, it's Alt+M)
Hello, I don't know if you could help me but I'm doing some clothing, accessory and hair mods for a character in Xenoverse 2. However, when I pass it from fbx to emd it doesn't show up (I don't add texture or anything, it's more for learn how to make it look in the xenovierwer) and it only shows "model pack/no skin" and I really don't know what to do anymore... Please.
It's most likely in a huge view, turn the camera around in XenoViewer, it should be viewable, though just huge, you'll need to export again making sure the export settings match what is shown in the video. (At 4:13 I explain the different reasons how they'll look in XenoViewer and how to fix them.)
I have a problem with figure shadows, for example Goku's shoes. I resized the object and then exported the file. Everything works, but the in-game shadows are not coordinated
Same issue here. Have you managed to solve it?
Hello, I have a problem. I tried to convert Gogeta's face to CAC, but when I took it out of Blender, I put it in Xenoviewer and the lines of the face are messed up. What can I do?
The EMB lines are most likely upside down (depending on which EMBFBX ya used)
First attempt would be to drag the emb file to embpack_v2, then open the DATA000.emb for the face in Paint . Net, go to image>flip vertical, now save the file in BC3 (Linear, DXT5) format. Then drag the emb folder back over to embpack_v2. Hopefully this fixes the issue, if not, feel free to message me on Discord.
@@Sportiax_XCVII ok thanks bro I'll try
i used embpackv2 to see what the hair textures are for DBS super hero gohan and for some reason the texture for both base form and potential unleashed is yellow instead of black. it is also the exact same texture. do you know the reason for this?
You're most likely looking at DATA002, for most character it will be yellow for Super Saiyan. Though GHL (Adult Gohan) and FIG (DBS Gohan) use DATA005 which is black for Potential Unleashed. Hope that answers your question.
Here's a list of forms that show which texture is used: (Also found in the #tools channel in The Citadel) docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SyHP2fns9w_ovq96eiLejxZBngo2cYbsNxC9fo9YH5w/edit#gid=1624059058
@@Sportiax_XCVII yeah it answers my question thanks. although i was just wondering how you would find the DATA005 texture
Could you make a video on hoe to make yhe clothes move, i have seen that the clothes have a type of skeleton and that is how the clothes move, if you could do it you would help me a lot
Right, they have SCD files. Though I hate SCD files and avoid using them 😅
Sorry mate, can't make a video for editing those files, your best option would be to ask for help in The Citadel (discord link in description)
so i downloaded blender yesterday how did you get on those files from blender because i downloaded it but you have like gk4 or whatever
I get those from the original GK4 chara folder, extracted from the cpk using CPKBrowser.
Though I recognize ya from The Citadel/Discord. You seem brand new to modding, I'd recommend learning the file structure of the game before making mods, download mods and see how they work within the files (you can extract mods using 7-Zip (or the cursed WinRar that way too many use)). Yami has a tutorial called "Xenoverse 2: A Modded Experience" in the beginner-tutorials channel found in The Citadel. I can help more on Discord if ya truly need it.
I tried to export a custom model but for some reason it doesn’t show up in xenoviewer i resized it and it has textures
When you say custom model, is the model from another game or Xenoverse? (Asking for clarification based off your past comments asking about using other game models)
@@Sportiax_XCVII another game ,Completely different game i resized it to fit the skeleton too
I see. Unfortunately, using a custom model from another game is beyond my modding as of right now. I'll keep an eye out for any tutorials that can explain the process, I'll ping ya in The Citadel when I come across one.
@@Sportiax_XCVII appreciate you bro your very informative you’ve earned a sub
Can you make a tutorial for importing your Xenoverse 2 CaCs into VRChat?
I tried this method quite a few years when I was interested in VR, and holy moly it was quite the process. I'm not the one that could explain it, and it would be too different from the content I create around modding Xenoverse 2.
I recommend looking up specifically how to turn a .fbx model into VRChat/Unity model.
@@Sportiax_XCVII All I need you to do is find a way to toss the model into blender, I'll handle the rest. I make VRChat avatars from game rips all the time.
How about you learn to manage your discord server? You hired a bunch of immature kids as discord mods and all they do is power trip at every chance they have.
I'm sorry man, I don't understand anything about the video, I don't even know how to start or where to start...
Apologies the video is confusing, perhaps the written tutorial will help, available in the description above, along with an invite link to The Citadel, the best place to learn modding Xenoverse 2.
Also, I'd recommend starting with an easier way to mod, such as a color/DYT change.
