Where did you purchase the apron you are wearing?
do the seeds ship to newfoundland ? vetgetable seeds are find to hard lol
My dad would put a packet of silica gel beads in the plastic container he stored his seeds in that acts as a desiccant to help keep any moisture away from the seeds. He would just reuse the silica gel packets he would find in packaging of other products he purchased.
That is super smart!
Excellent idea. I will implement that. Thank you.
Dang I just threw one out that was in my beef jerky bag lol
Guess I'm going to Walmart and taking them out of all the shoeboxes LOL just kidding but thanks for the tip!!
Completely unrelated to this video-topic, but those also work well in laptop bags or laptop pouches.
I would suggest putting a sticky note on the inside cover and writing down the seeds you are low on or out of as you plant this spring. That way, when you go to reorder next winter, your list will mostly be made.
Great idea!
LOVE that idea!
Great 💡 idea
These 16pack containers are also #14.99 at Michael's and $19.99 at Joanns, if this helps anyone 😊. We also use them to store all our extra cell phone and all electronic cables together. Loved the video Becky!
Thanks! I was about to pay $32 on Amazon but there’s a JoAnn’s right down the road.
Yep just went and got a second one today at Michaels!
Thank you for the information. I will be going to Michaels to pick it up.
Cable organization!?
Organization geek squee!
@@christawarrington3795 yes! It's a sickness I think.... 😬😂
I have four of those boxes divided by herbs. Flowers, winter and summer. I also labeled them and I save every desiccant packet I find in food purchases and add it to the boxes to keep them dry. It took me a hot minute but I created a spreadsheet with tabs for each type of seed. Now it just takes a minute to add new seeds or delete the ones I use. No more buying seeds I already have. 😊
Great idea. I also save seeds from items that I am growing so I do not have to purchase seeds every year.
Me too!
Some tiny seeds are easier to plant when they are in a salt shaker. Happy gardening
Or use a wet wooden match to pick them up and place individually.
Great idea thanks 😊
I use mason or play sand or seed starter mixed with seeds and use a parmesan cheese shaker to sprinkle
So smart thanks 4 sharing
This is what I've used for the past 3 years. I have three of them. They are wonderful. I keep all three in my refrigerator in my garage.
Thanks for your response. I had wondered if anyone was placing them in a refrigerator or freezer to store them longer.
Here’s my best tip…Make a separate small container marked “meh” because you didn’t like what you grew-for whatever reason-and you don’t want to just throw the seeds out! I’m thinking of finding a local gardener that might like what I didn’t. And, you will find that some of these varieties you don’t like are well loved by others ❤️
This is a great idea. One suggestion, if you don't find good homes for the seeds you want to give away: I just discovered that my local library has a seed exchange! They will take seeds from individuals and find homes for them! I have no idea how common this is, but it's new to me and I'm so excited about it!
Our Farmers Market has seed exchanges. It’s a great place to donate seeds that we don’t want (for whatever reason- e.g.: didn’t grow well for us, not a favorite, etc)
It may be worth checking there as well.
@@Romans828girl Our local library in Michigan does the same!
My local library has a seed sharing station. People can check out a seed packet and can donate seed packets!
Alternate Seed Organizing Tip: When I have open seed packs I head to the Dollar Store and get the tiny clear plastic ziplock bags and label stickers. We put all the seeds in their and it cuts down the packet size 3-4x the size. These are found in the craft section of the Dollar Stores usually and are 3x2 inches sized. They are perfect! I throw them in a small bin and use a sandwich sized ziplock to organize by category (tomatoes, flowers, herbs, greens, other). Cost me less than $5 after tax.
This would be great alternative for anyone that can't afford those nice photo bins. I am hoping to get a photo bin by summer 2023 when we redo our backyard and really go hard on gardening
Hi Becky, I hope you're doing well. It might be a fun idea this winter to host a seed swap (via mail) in order for you and some of your viewers to move along some of the seeds they have too many of or no longer want, etc. A fun way to maybe get your hands on something new you've never grown before as well. Just a thought in case that would be fun for you. I hope you have a great time sorting! Take care.
GREAT IDEA! I’m in!
Im in !!! Have to many off the same seeds lol
Me too!
I’m in! And willing to help coordinate
@@cynthiafisher9907 usually there's a preset limit of participants and it's first come first serve. However it was just an idea, not something she's necessarily considering doing. It does sound like it could be fun though, right?! I hope you're all having a nice day.
“When things are organized, I enjoy what I’m doing more.”
Life. Literally🙌🏽🙏🏽.
Yes, get a third file. For flowers and herbs.
You're gonna need it and the file/system might not be in production then.
It's a good investment.
I wholeheartedly agree. You are already starting to bust the seams with what you have.
Hey Becky, so enjoy your videos. I have this seed organizer for 2 years now and love it. I also have a canning binder and garden binder. In the garden binder I keep a map each year of where I plant everything so we can rotate our crops. I also keep track of how much I can. I used excel to design the sheet. I keep track of date, item canning, amount of produce used, number of jars canned, cost of any to buy the produce, then amount left next year. This really helps us know how much of each item to plant to get the required number of jars need for the year for each item. It works quite well. I also write the day I ran out something to give me a better idea of how much I need to process the following year.
Oh my gosh yes! I was praying that you were going to use the photo storage containers. They are so nice!!! I’m loving your organization videos. So motivating.
Edit* I keep like seeds together and then organize them by start times. It helps me schedule and plan out my garden and not always double checking what to plant when.
I also have 4 of these containers 😅
That’s a really good idea. I just have mine sorted by cool weather and warm weather crops but have a spreadsheet of what needs to be planted when. But that’s a good idea to sort my seeds that way.
Great idea!🙂
Same! Makes it so much easier to find things at the right time!!
I also keep like seeds together and I only take the seeds that I am sowing out into the garden nothing more.
I have 2 but need more!
Love that your homesteadibg on a small property, it has helped my husband understand that we dont need a huge famr to provide
We moved last year to a house that has a very small backyard so I now have to adapt to a very very small bucket garden. Watching alot of video on this.
I use the same photo storage bin for my seeds. It works great but you have to really baby the latches on each the individual holders. Great job! And I never would have thought about typing everything into my label maker before hitting print! Genius!
I use those same containers and love them. I have 4: summer vegetables, fall vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
Loving these organisation videos! I don't have a garden and I'm absolutely terrible at growing anything but you make me want to move to the countryside and start my own farm. So relaxing and inspiring to watch.
You do not even have to a yard to grow love. I have my outside garden as well as containers and two aero gardens inside. I utilize many methods for growing. You should try one.
@@FoodbyFaith I got an an aero garden for Christmas this year and I absolutely love it!!!! I have dill basil parsley and something else sprouting since Christmas already! I’m pumped
Wow thank you!!
My girlfriend lives in White Plains, Or so I saw her snow last week. An indoors plan was a great idea.
I’ve been using two methods. First, for the store bought seeds, I use 4”by6” photo albums which makes it easy to flip through and find seeds. The second method I use for seeds that I save from my garden. I use small glass vials that I store in a wooden box with openings like the essential oils storage boxes. I place a small label on the lids and I can easily find any seed I want.
Oh GIRRRRRLLLL…..I started out with just 2 cases…. Now I’m up to 6 cases!!! I just LOVE those cases!!!
I also bought those containers for my seeds but switched to binders instead. I purchased packs of 4- pocket binder sleeves on ebay. They display 8 seed packets per page and I really enjoy seeing the beautiful veg and colors when I go thru the binder. I can see the functionality of the containers but we all have our own ways!
That's what I have too! Sometimes (like right now) I just flip through the pages and read the seed packets like they're telling a story
I've had that "seed bin" for 2years now and I love it
OMG YES. I just clicked on RUclips thinking “dang I wonder when Becky is going to post a seed video” and here we are. Made my freaking day!
This right here is EXACTLY why I watch RUclips videos. Someone, somewhere is going to figure out the best or easiest way to do the thing you've been struggling to figure out. Absolutely genius!
I just got 3 of those cases at Michaels yesterday for $14.99 each. I love them!!! I wish I'd gotten one or two more. I'm doubling the size of my vegetable, herb and flower gardens this year. I love the Farmer's Almanac planting guide. It has both planting by frost dates and moon dates.
I'm noticing many seed catalogies arr including grow charts/ planting times, etc.
I live vicariously through you Becky.
I’ve been doing this for 2 years now. But I never thought to do cool weather and warm weather! Very helpful!
I love that you make a mental list and not a written list and capitalize on your strengths. I personally make all the lists but my son learns like you and this content really validates other ways of doing and learning! Awesome!
Becky, one of my favorite homestead channels to watch is Living Traditions Homestead. They are so kind and she is very very very informative when it comes to canning her garden veggies. They also freeze dry as well. I just really enjoy them.
I have used this seed container system for 2 years and love it.
Found these at Michael’s on sale for $14.99 right after Christmas! I gotta do this too lol. I had my seeds in plastic shoeboxes and divided with note cards. It works but I have like 4 boxes and they’re difficult to carry. This way gives me more organization so I’m excited to try this method. 😊💚🍃🌿🌱
I use the photo boxes too. I separate mine by ones that need to be started indoors verses those that can be direct sown in the ground.
If you have the binders, try postcard seed sleeves instead. They are the exact size of the typical Baker Creek seed packet. Might be good if you still have overflow and want to reuse your binders.
Yes, this works very well and is something I have been doing for years. Not only are the sleeves the exact perfect size (4 to a page), but it is such a gorgeous way to sort and "read through" your seed collection.
This is what I have as well, but I would love to upgrade to the other system.
I do the same thing ! I have different binders for different categories. I do like how I can see everything . I might try this method though and see which I like better …
I also use binders with card holder sleeves which enable you to read the front and back of each seed packet. I used to use containers and found them too cumbersome and not as easy to view packets. I needed the the extra large binders (2 of them so far), and I have organized them alphabetically vegetables in one and herbs and flowers in the other. I also put plant info from fruit trees and bushes we have purchased as well as tags from perennials in the pockets and added a notebook to record my garden progress.
I have done binders in the past. You can buy those 3 ring binder inserts that are divided into quarters (4 pockets per page). Put two seed packet into each pocket (one facing one way, one facing the other)
I use the same containers for my seeds. I separate my flowers into annual and perennial. I think your idea of cold weather and warm weather is a great separation.
I also live in zone 8b, on the Oregon Coast. Tomatoes and peppers are very difficult to grow. Summers are too cool.
I bought these last year and absolutely love them! Thanks for the motivation to see what i have and don't have!
I organized mine the last 2 days. I was pleasantly surprised as to what I had! Mine are in ziplock freezer quart bags according to type. Then in a plastic tote
I have 4 One for herbs one for flowers one for warm crops and one for cool season. Ive had mine for 4 years now
City girl here; you've inspired to me start a garden on my (tiny tiny tiny) balcony come spring! Probably going to have a very small bounty because I don't have very much space, but that's okay!! Something is better than nothing. Thank you for allowing me to believe in myself (:
also, if anyone has anyone recommendations for what to plant, that would be appreciated!! definitely a WHOLE LOT of basil no matter what, because i go through way too much basil for my own good lol
Yes you can do small containers or hanging containers! You can do it! You'll find so much satisfaction is growing your own food!
@@RockMonger thank you!!! im looking forward to it x
Check your library for urban or patio gardening books. I got a lot of ideas from there (I wrote a bunch of notes in a notebook to keep for myself) and also you can usually select “patio/container” or “determinate” (means the plant will only grow up to a certain size and produce a “set amount” of fruit) for small spaces when you search for seeds or started plants. I have a small patio garden and grow lettuce inside and really love it so far. I think picking things that are bang-for-your buck and also something that is interesting really makes the experience worth your while. In my opinion low-yield or super cheap grocery store produce mean that I’m less likely to appreciate the full work that plants can take lol
Girl, waste NO time planting something you don't like, but ask your loved ones that you'd like to gift fresh food, what they like. I hate beets but my mother loved them so I would grow beets for her. 💜 If you have elderly neighbors what they like.
Try salad vegies in sunny spots inside! It works, have fun!!
I bought mine from Micheal's (Craft Store here in Okc., Ok). I use mine for needles, straight pins, safety pins, snaps, buttons, zippers, grommet eyelet and washers,
I love the idea of having a cool season and a warm season case. Great idea! Thanks!
I never thought about doing anything like that. I keep my seeds in a small box and I write on the box what I have and what I need to buy. Has worked for me for decades.
I would add Chives, ginger, turmeric, tomatoes to my stash as well. Great list, I was looking for an idea for great seed storage.
I'm jealous of how much warmer your climate is! I'm in 4b and it was -17F yesterday morning. It'll be a while before I think about planting
Oh my goodness. I have those I’ve been using for a few years now, most in the clear set, and my own heirloom seeds in the colored sets. I too have tried different methods to organize all my seeds and these have worked the best. But when I got mine at Michaels several years ago they were around $10. I’m really happy I got so many because I’ve filled them lol. Excellent choice…you’re going to love them.
I have those containers and they are amazing. I have 3, 1 for cold weather, 1 for warm weather and 1 for herbs and flowers.
Thanks for the reminder of what I also had on my to do list. Looking at my present seeds to know what I need to purchase for my spring garden. I have been putting my seed packets in ziplock bags but not much organization. I accidentally let some seed packets get wet and they sprouted too. Thanks for reminding me to get organized.
I do the same thing about buying what you really need to do it right but not wanting to spend the money! But take it from me you will want to buy more you always regret not getting another one especially if you are putting something like seeds in it where you can ALWAYS get another packet of seeds of something. If I don't whatever it is stops being made and I have to find something else so they all fit well together!
You can also set the margins to narrow and it won't waste nearly as much of the label.
I have 2 of these and boy have they have been fantastic. Keeps my seeds organized and protected
I have 5 of those cases, I love my seeds!
I bought mine on sale/coupon at Michaels as it was cheaper than ordering from Amazon. The benefit of buying in store is that you can make sure that there are no cracks in the plastic and all the containers are sound.
#Tip: When you buy in new seeds, put a date on them. Some seed packages I have are not dated and it’s always a guessing game as to how old they are. DO NOT TOSS AWAY OLD SEEDS! I have sprouted bean seeds that were over 10+ years old and they produced profusely.
That surprised me about seed packets not having a date on them. I know they are supposed to have a stamp of the year they were packed for sale because it's illegal for stores to sell seeds packed for one year in the next year.
I work at saving seeds from my harvest so that I do not have to purchase seeds every year. Happy growing.
so wish we could get them here in New Zealand - cant find them anywhere nor on line at present as Amazon not delivering here till heaven knows when..........we have awesome heritage seeds here tho which is a huge blessing
@@avismark8655 Kmart has a smaller colourful one and I think warehouse had a 8 storage compartment box and I have two of those and they work well they fit in the standard size seed packet on its side as I find it a little difficult to get them out if they laying flat lol
@@tonileigh8660 The brand we have here in 🇨🇦 is called McKenzie seeds and they don’t put dates on the packages.
There is a simplicity and authenticity about your channel and content that I love
Hoss tools gave you a great review on their channel. I get all my seeds from them. Great seeds and great customer service, they have a video on Thursday nights. Also Greg’s son Travis has a great channel too. Lazy Dog Farm
I really like Hoss Tools.
The organization geek in me LOVES this method!!!
Becky, you are amazing and have me longing for spring to get planting. You are a huge inspiration and motivator for so many of us. Proud to be on the ACRE team. ❤️
I love those cases for seeds! I organized mine the same way with the 2 containers.
As for cosmos, I discovered that you only ever have to buy one packet. I saved SO many seeds from them. And I'm afraid they're going to be re-seeded ALL over my garden beds!
I’m so excited for this!!! I’m dying to start my seeds. My grandfather always had the best tomatoes and started them in January (zone 5b). I’m not ready to but I’ll start next month. I’m still getting my setup together. I store my seeds in these photo boxes and love them!
Happy Planting❤️🕊❤️Can i ask what kind of tomatoes he had
@@tinacalifano5023 He always grew best boy and early girl. I know he usually did beefsteak and a Roma as well but I don’t know any specifics. How is your garden this year?
Been using these containers for a couple of years now. I love them!! So much easier!!
Hey SoilSista! I love the hanging pocket organizer. It can go on a wall a spare room or studio. It's cute and you can see through the pockets. I have I think it's 36 pocket and multiple packs can fit in one pocket and if need be you can label the pockets. Honestly I like the photo organizer too. You are an inspiration! You are a great teacher! I wish I had half your energy! I am 69, finally retired 2 1/2 yrs ago. I love watching and learning from you 👍👍❤️
This is the method I use too! I get my containers at JoAnn when I have the 50% coupon and they are so reasonable. I love this method! I have 3 and do use one just for flowers, makes it much easier..
I love all your topics. You don't realize you need something until you show it on one of your videos.
I just did this before Christmas. I purchased mine from Michael's. Maybe use 1-2 of the individual containers for all your flowers and 1-2 for all your herbs. I feel I could use a third tote but have resisted the urge to buy it at least at this point.😆
I got mine from Michaels too. I was surprised yesterday when I got them for only $14.99 each!
I have been using this system for three years and love it. Very easy to keep organized, expandable, inexpensive, and portable.
On the years I've actually done a written inventory, I list type, name, packaging year, soil germination temp, germination time, soil growing temp, harvest time. I may add more info but, if I get this much filled out im lucky. This lets me look at my ,ist and plan planting times. Where it is most handy is when I end up with some space mid year to quickly plop a seed in the ground or a seed starter.
I bought an old school photo album and put my seed packets in there. Works fine for small seeds, but not bulky seeds like beans. I love these plastic organizers!
That is the exact containers that I organized in earlier this year. Helps so much. I had all of my seeds in a box and it was such a Hassel knowing what you have/need. 👍
I cannot even begin to tell you how happy this video makes me, and I'm not even into gardening. I just really, REALLY love organization! :)
Great job, and what a wonderful storage idea. Kudos to whomever came up with that idea.
I used the same plastic bins as you have but I used one for veggies and one for flowers. It works great!
How many seed packets will approximately fit in each compartment?
I used to be a page at the library and my job was to organize the carts that returned books were put on and then put them on the shelf. The first several months I was mentally going through the ABCs to make sure I put things in the right order. Now, after 2 years of that job and another 2 of being a clerk at the library I know it like the back of my hand.
Thank you for inspiring me to organize and inventorying my seeds!
you can change the margins on the brother lablemaker!
This is an amazing organizing system for your seeds. I look forward to every video that you make.
I’m 8b in the high desert! I grow stuff year round. I have to water everyday 😃
I don't have a lot of seeds, but I'm thinking that I still may buy that case! I did purchase seeds for the yellow cherry tomatoes and the large paste tomatoes you grew last year. I'm in zone 6b in New England. I made a graph last year showing me what I planted where, plus the planting dates and expected harvest dates...I forgot I had it since I had it on my computer in a file I don't go into often! I also had the great idea to journal about my gardening (watering, fertilizing etc) but never felt like doing it. I realized I'm just a go with the flow sort of gardener at the moment! 💕
I would buy a third one for herbs and flowers that seems like a good idea
I use those too. They're great. I refrained from labeling each one, because the contents of each one changes with every seed order. Now, the biggest struggle, is to make myself put the seed packets back once I'm finished using them. I have 3 and I put mine in alphabetical order. It's a bit much, but it works for me.
I have two and do the same as you. I don't label but try to keep them in alphabetical order.
I just used a dry erase marker
@@kelleyleblanc5025 I use my kitchen Sharpie. Wipes off with little effort. I’ll have to get some dry erase ones too.
I have 4 of them. LOL I don't separate my cold crop and warm crops or flowers. I have have them in alphabetical order throughout the 4 totes. I do have my tomatoes separated by sauce, cherry, slicing and dual purpose. And my beans by dry, pole and bush beans. My zucchini, yellow and winter squash have their own containers. As does my pumpkin. I love this method of storing my seeds. I may or may not have a seed problem. LOL ~ Stephanie
One of the joys with this type of project is "touching" everything -- the smell, the memories, the names, and even seeing the graphics. It's sort of an interactive photo album. The tricky part is to keep using the system -- everything needs to go back to its home with no exceptions. An "I'll do it later" pile can get ugly fast and does not prevent damage or loss. At the very least, the day after you do some inside potting, take the time to refile everything. The difference is 10 minutes versus and pain in the XYZ later. And a year from then you come back to your "album" all ready to be used again.
That is one thing that I do not do and it keeps me organized. When I am done with the seeds I put them right back. I also save seeds from my harvest so I do not have to purchase similar seeds every year.
For Christmas my sister got me oil paint boxes. Flip top, kind of like a small tic tac container. They are lovely!
I organize alphabetically. i e. Onion, ruby red. Then if I need to I note long day, short day, bush type, indeterminate, etc. Then I have an excel notebook; and I have one alphabetic inventory spreadsheet, one by season, one by use i.e. fresh vs canning, etc
I love to microfocus and super organize but I have a hard time with keeping it that way. 🤭 I bought 2 photo containers like that from Michaels on sale for $15! They have colored see through cases and I organized them by seed type/case color but I'll never remember which color is which type of seed. LOL A label maker is next on my list!
BTW I think the USDA hardiness zones are actually called *cold hardiness* zones and don't have anything to do with heat. 😁
Thanks, Becky! Your explanation of hardiness zones vs. local climate made so much more sense.
I just bought some seeds at dollar tree about 2 weeks ago! I was excited to see they had in stock. I ordered some onion seeds online a few minutes ago to do winter sowing (trying something new). I was wondering would you show your compost pile when it warms up outside? I’m curious to see what you do and how they look! You have me so inspired this year so I purchased zinnias and cosmos this year! How long do seeds normally last for? Thanks!
I know! She’s amazing, right! Seeds can last for a very long time. Germination rates may get lower over time but they don’t really have an expiration date. Store them properly and you should have no problem. Hope this helps😊
@@tbrac489 thanks!!!
I went to my two of my local dollar trees and was able to get some planters for my strawberries. I have some in a 100 gallon grow bag as well as in another raised bed but wanted to grow a bit more. I have two different types of compost piles in my yard. I have a 17 gallon bucket that I use, I have a regular bin that I got off of amazon, I chop and drop around my few trees and I make super juice. Super juice is whatever you would put in your compost you put in a bucket of water and let sit for a few days then water your plants with it. Some call it compost tea. Happy growing.
Luke from MIgardener is currently cultivating a seed he got from a shadow box that hung in an old seed factory, over 80 years old! He’s been working on it a few years to get enough to sell.
This is what I do to check if my seeds are good:
Put a few seeds between a moist paper towel in a plastic container, keep warm and watch for sprouting. Any that sprout put in a peat pellet or seed starter mix then transplant after your first frost. If most germinate then you can just plant the seeds directly in your garden but I prefer to germinate all my seeds no matter how new or old using the paper towel technique and peat pellets.
The perfect video to watch today!! It got me off the couch to collect and organize my seeds. You are doing a fabulous job with your videos. Thank you from the east coast, zone 6A.
That’s an amazing idea Becky!! Can’t wait to see your 2022 planting and preserving videos…💕💕
I store my seeds in these same containers and have for a few years! I got mine at Michaels craft store when they were on sale. I do one for veggies and one for flowers. Good luck🍀🌱
I had about 50 old Beta Movie containers that I saved because I just knew they could be used for something. They looked almost exactly like these. After holding onto them for about a year, I got rid of them. NOW I know how I could've used them. Ugh. This is an excellent idea! TFS
The planting guide would probably be better being laminated rather than the plastic pocket so it doesn't get wet
I seal mine in a used food saver bag. Still good but already reused a couple times.
I have always wanted an old wooden card catalog box from an old library with the the pull out drawers and they are the perfect size...
I just got my second photo saver case. I have a feeling that I will need at least 2 more with the box of seeds I have downstairs and with some of the seeds I keep saving. Happy Organizing!!
Last year was my first year gardening, rather than going to the almanac, I found an app online that took my zip code, told me outside and inside dates, but also fertilizer, container size, sun preferences, all in one place! So perfect, I thought. Their dates were all wrong, killed so many starts. Farmers Almanac all the way this year, I think changing that alone is gonna have a big positive impact on my garden!
I separated similarly. The only thing is I went to Walmart and got the 4 x 6 inch craft jewelry bag to put each seed packet in. That way if seeds leak out they fall inside the little bag. I made sure they would fit the Baker Creek's packets since they are larger. No more guessing on what the seeds are at the bottom of my container. You can get them at any craft store too. I prefer to keep the seed packet, especially if it has a real picture of the vegetable and planting info.
I'm getting my seeds ready also. I have an apartment with alot of outdoor space.
Just a little bit of information for you, most states have a cooperative extension service that has planting information and gardening tips. The best part is they're free to use. There is a lot of practical information for you. Just wanted to share another resource with you. Love your videos, keep up the great work for all of us watching. Have a wonderful new year.
Love this video. I organize mine the same way. It helps to write the year you bought the seed packet on the packet. I also have one for herbs and one for flowers.
I've been a medical coder for 13 years and we still use an alphabetized book regularly. I sing the alphabet song all day long.
I got one of those photo boxes a few years ago. Shelby on the Queen's Cabinet showed this idea. Brilliant!
Lol, I was thinking you needed a 3rd one for flowers, and then a couple minutes later in the video you started thinking that too! You better get 2 more, one for flowers and one for herbs.
Your seed collection is only going to get bigger. I love seeds also, and I'm totally going to buy some of the organizers as well. You definitely inspire me to clean, organize and garden. Unfortunately, I don't like cooking as much as you do. Maybe someday I will get inspired there. 😁
We just found some basic seeds on a display at Dollar General. 2/$1, 4/$1. Several were varieties that I didn't have. Several I just needed restocked. Deal of the day!
