Good video I noticed when you put it in Aperture priority a mode, the dial that you were using that’s exposure compensation that you were using is it like that with factory settings?
Loved the format of the review -- walking around and describing your thought process of how you approach the scene and the thinking behind the selection of speed, ISO and f-stop. And good review of the Q3 too -- a back to basics camera.
Hello Serge, very informative videos and review! since I have already Q3 (after upgrade from Q2), a simple question, I am an amateur photographer, what do you suggest for me to use Lightroom or Lightroom CC ? I know that you are using CC but I would like to hear your point, thanks for your attention!
Sony and this one are the cameras you’ll use ? Did I not watch your video a while ago when you said the FUJI-FILM GFX 100 was the best camera for landscapes
Thanks for the review. Any thoughts on how this camera would be as an all-purpose travel camera, covering anything from landscape to cityscape compositions?
New subscriber…great review! What shoulder strap and connectors are you using? I preordered a Q3 for street and travel when I dont feel like lugging my D5 around.
He’s using a Peak Design strap. That one’s a bit overkill. They make a narrower one for lighter cameras. I have those anchors on all my cameras so I can swap straps from camera to camera quick and easy.
If I’m being honest, whatever you shot the video with was rendering a much more beautiful image than the Leica. No idea why because the Q3 seems pretty awesome.
Great review, but one issue I noticed is that no one has been able to get a hold of a Q3 camera as it is completely sold out. It's priced at £5300, and despite two months of trying, I still haven't been able to acquire one. A more informative review would be to explore the reasons behind its unavailability. So far, the only people I have seen with the camera are individuals on RUclips. 😅
Many thanks for your kind comment, a lot of videos are coming soon! By the way, what is the number one thing you would like to learn on photography and retouching? I will make a video about it :)
Amazing how many youtubers tries all together this new camera which is yet not availlable on the market !! And very surprised that all tell the same story : it's worth to buy this very good camera, ha ha ha!
Bonsoir Serge, merci de nous faire une review du compact le plus cher du monde mais pourrais-tu pas exemple faire la même review avec un appareil plus accessible pour le commun des mortels tel le Ricoh GR III par exemple ? Merci par avance.
He won’t explain, cause he knows shit… 😂😂😂 it’s a question of whether you can take photos and know your craft, there is plenty of sharpness wide open on this lens, he just doesn’t know what a focal plane is, lol 😂
The video footage looks far better than the stills output from the Q3 !
I live my Q3. Did you ever play with the perspective control in camera?

Thank you Bob and I really appreciate your comment!
Where did you get the music for background?
I came here to see the camera photos and I was surprised by the great golden hours color, dynamic range of the video itself 😅

I just took my Q3 to Italy, Turkey and Greece. The thing is great in evening and at night!
The Leica looks superb, great to see it in use in the fabulous Paris Blue Hour.
Great informative video! Do you think the Leica Q2 would do just as well for night photography in terms of same ISO ? Cheers
Any camera shake during a 9.5 earthquake with stabilisation on ?
Thoughts on its Macro abilities ?

@@nelsonfoote7641 Are the anchors Peak Design to?
@@JoeGiz64 HI Joe, yes, they are Peak Design too. they're really strong and work well.

the video is beautiful but you ser the quality of the prints and the sharpnesses much bette than the video
I hope they release the Leica q3 hodinkee edition white soon.
The color banding on the skies in your first few shots are bad….is that expected of the leica? Never had this issue on my sony
Was this an ad for Leica?
No way… lol
I wish but no
Horrific photos, it’s a shame one leica q3’s existence has been wasted on you
Serge, I love the photo walks through Paris with you (from NYC). Thank you.
This video demonstrates that it’s not the camera but the photographer that takes the photos.
Love seeing all the sights of Paris, brings back great memories! That camera sounds incredible!
Awsome!Thank you,...the same in french and one with GR3 x or GR3

We must be paying you too much. (Joking- it's a gorgeous camera and you deserve it)
Great video with technic and composition. Thanks Serge for detailed and hands on eperience.

Your process for retouching these night photos would be a huge help. Love your tones.
Nicely done , great scenery and technical help :)
Nice watch Serge... Planet Ocean? Oh, and the video was cool too.
Great video Serge. Like the last picture PANO.
What are you doing Serge? Now I want to buy a Leica again.
Maestro thanks for this impression session.
the music is annoying for the video, its unwatchable
I own the Q2. I looked at the Q3 but I didn’t like the rear LCD ruined the classic lines.

Great video. I want more of these on location 👍
high iso please ...
Nice video, Q3 is great. No IBIS for Q3 though -- has OIS.
Premier commentaire!! Merci pour tes précieux conseils Serge
Great review but I"m sticking with my Q2.
Struggling to see this “Leica Look” everyone speaks of..
Review was good but ditch that terrible backing music, please 🙏
Thank you! By the way, what is the number one thing you would like to learn on photography and retouching? I will make a video on it! :)
Thanks for sharing your photos. They are beautiful.
Besides the summilux name the lenses are very different. For one, the real summilux is 1.4 not 1.7... and the Q 28mm is actually more like a 25-26mm
Leica summilux lenses are anything less than f2.0 and greater than f1.0
Ok,,, so nice camera and lens. However at f/1.7 you have no sharpness due to the depth of field with that aperture . Explain....
He won’t explain, cause he knows shit… 😂😂😂 it’s a question of whether you can take photos and know your craft, there is plenty of sharpness wide open on this lens, he just doesn’t know what a focal plane is, lol 😂
These look awful
Your framing, your exposure... what the hell? For these results you could have used a cheap android phone.
😅😅😅😅😅
LOL Looking at your pictures... ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE A PHOTOGRAPHER LOL. Try learning what EXPOSURE is LOLLLL
