- My new Bucket Blaster High Banker works amazing. The home made high banker is a super easy DIY project and cheap to make. I even found some nice gold in the dirt I ran I think I found a new hole to dig in and search for some more gold.
Atta Boy..!!!....
Great concept...!!!!
Thanks
Thank you! Very nice design!
Glad you like it!
Great setup!
Thank you
Süper verinays gut tenkyu 👍👏👏⭐⭐🖐🇹🇷
It's great that contraption.who needs fancy shiny metal to do the job.I reckon lodes of people will see your inventions and be able to do what you do because they can't afford a machine.👍
Thank you I think you are right I can see that from some of the comments I think it proves you don't have to spend a ton of money to get something that works.
I've been cutting and riveting everything in my back yard as a DIY challenge to not spend a crazy amount on a recirculating high banker. The sluice was easy enough as i took the sheet metal covering of an old fridge but who knew the big white 20litre bucket i sometimes sit on to pan was the answer for the top piece lol. Your channel after a quick glance looks like a wealth of information so i'm making some popcorn, grabbing a beer and settling in for some education. Cheers 😀👍
Slick idea
Great Idea
Glad you think so!
Well looks like you did it again another great product and video. It's a real honor and privilege for you to let us in to you life and mind, kinda like hanging out with family thanks and prospect on.
Wow what a great comment so glad you like what I do. I feel like I have made a lot of new friend since I started this channel. You take care and thank you for watching.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
That is fantastic, this is great if you can't afford a trommel
This project did work well. But I love my $80.00 bucket trommel.
Great job. Don’t worry about the nay-sayers, “necessity is the mother of invention”! You have the ingenuity and intelligence to think of new things and build em. Keep on doing what you do, it’s inspirational. Great idea!
Thank you very much!
Love the high banker, and all your other projects. Thanks for sharing.👍
Can't wait until spring to run it and put it to a real test.
I'm very impressed by your ingenuity .
Another inspirational build. Great job. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thank you Brandon. I think this one is going to work out great Thanks for watching.
Another great project. THANKS for the video.
Thank you Mike.
Love your Bucket Blaster high banker Alan! I have been looking for an idea like that. Thanks for making another great video - keep 'em coming!
Thanks Dan glad I could help out Thanks for watching.
True ingenuity! As long as it works for you and the area you are working, thats all that matters.
Thank you Jon
love home made equipment. nice idea nice job!
Thank you this was a fun project.
i love it. absolute efficiency from simplicity.
Thank you I love the way you put that. Thank you for watching.
Very very cool?! I just bought land with a creek on it and I want to try panning it. As a newbie I can't afford thousand dollars for a whole rig. Got a pan a sluice box and a stand and I'm gonna try out you design idea if you don't mind to see what's in there after a few hundred pounds of materials.
Great video I subscribed!!!
Keep them COMING!!!
You’re quite the inspiration , another great invention , well done
Thank you James so glad you like what I do. Thank you for watching.
Just what I needed thank You
Fran
Thank you Fran glad I could help out Thanks for watching.
Love the boiler bucket!
Thank you I think it will work great this year as soon as the snow is gone.
Thanks for sharing Alan.
Thank you billy
Nice looks great and works great 👍

Thank you I think it will work out great. Thank you for watching.
thanks for sharing, i think i will be using the bucket blaster this summer
Looks pretty simple to make, I like it
You are an inspiration, sir. So much so that i went and made one myself using your design! Thank you for sharing this!
Fantastic! Have fun.
Far out ! That is cool
Looks like you have a super setup. Keep on keeping on.
Thanks, will do!
simple and creative.. Great Job.. cant wait to see more Alan.. In the works creating mine at this time
Thanks Frank good luck on your build. I can't wait to get mine out this year the snow is almost gone. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much, that works amazing. Doing a lot with a little.
Will be trying this.
Best of luck! Thanks
Great little bucket must make it a lot easy to work
Thanks Jeremy Just a little more work on it and it will be ready for spring. Thanks for watching.
Great video looking forward to the next one
Thank you Carter
I like the use of the bucket.
As long as you are finding gold it's a success... good job
Thanks Peter
Thats a good idea i am in the process of collecting gold equipment and your bucket idea is perfect for me too use as a starter for finding gold thanks and keep up he good work
Thanks Ross Glad you like the idea it show you don't have to spend a ton of money to get something the works. Good luck on your search for gold.
I like the boiler box tho i think a more durable can such as a 15 gallon steel drum would be better..good gold!
great job, looking good,,i think this my next project, thank you
Hey Lou good luck on your build I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine. Just a little more work and it should be ready for next season.
so many ways a guy could alter this to fit his own needs, i always refer back to this video, gjob man
Thank you That is for sure so many way to go with it.
KCD....Keep Costs Down used to be my dad's mantra, and boy you always hit the nail on the head! I really like how this works, and one of the best things you have taught me was to quit wasting time drilling holes in my spray bars, all they do is catch junk and plug up! Thanks again for sharing and best of luck.....
Thank you Ken That is a great saying and yes this one was low cost for sure. I never got the spay bars to work either I think you can accomplish the same thing with pressure and water flow. Take care and thanks for watching.
That was great , thanks so much, I'm gunna build one of these.
Have fun a great winter project.
👍 Great I'm going to try this when the snow gets gone and a little warmer
This was a fun project. Good luck with you build.
@@alanrobertson2510 it looks like a lot of fun
I keep a pool skimmer next to my recirc highbanker to scoop up the leaves, grass, roots, etc. Cheers from AZ! Chris.
Hey Chris Thanks for idea the pool skimmer sound like it would work a lot better than the classifier we have been using. Thanks for subscribing.
Looks pretty genius to me. Great concept brother!
thumbs up here!!! great job.
Thanks Steve.
This is a great design. I think it would work good with our Keene or Angus MacKirk sluices. Thank you for sharing
Thank you I just need to improve the grizzly bars and it should be ready for spring. It should work on your sluice boxes I was using a 2000 gph pump.
A(u) Robertson....lol ...very nice setup ya got there ...always making things better and better.....love the interchangeable parts idea....thank you for all you do and share with us....it makes life better. Great gold from that hole...Keep diggin, stay safe ..and we will anxiously await the next one.
Thank you I think I am just about there just need some new sluice mats to handle the bigger rock I hope to get out one more time if the weather will just hold off. Thanks for watching.
Hi AR, Thanks for your great stuff always interesting for us poor prospectors. Dennis
Thats me the broke guy too lol
You are welcome so glad I can help out with some ideas who cares how much it cost as long as it works. Thanks for watching.
Great job awesome
Thanks Danny
I dig it ....good job on the high banker ....and video
Thank you I only got a chance to run it 2 times before winter set in a few more adjustments and it will be ready for spring. Thanks for watching.
Great job Alan, I like it! That's one thing about most prospectors, we are a very creative bunch indeed. Liked & Subscribed.
Thank you I can't help it always trying to make things better and run more dirt. I love your gold traps that you are making. Thank you for watching and subscribing.
@@alanrobertson2510 Thanks Alan!! They are patent pending as a classifier. Sure hope the PTO lets it through, making it legal in all 50 states. Time will tell!
Thanks for sharing this Alan. I had a chance to run a $600 Gold Hog with a destruction chamber and it worked well but I have to say your machine works quite a bit better ! Like your ideas and inventions and wish you luck out there in the goldfields !
Thank you Mike I am headed out to day to give it a try in the field I think once I get it dialed in it will work just as good if not better than most high bankers on the market. Thanks for watching.
Every time I visit your channel I end up inspired! So I'm gonna Subscribe! Well done Alan looks cool!
Wow Thank you I am so glad you like what I do It makes my day Thank you for subscribing.
Pretty cool..
Thank you.
Dude that’s so cool the manager hooked you up with that metal shelf/screen! It’s perfect and they could have easily asked for some dough. If they still work there, you should totally go back with a little vile of some shiny from your custom high banker! 😂
Nice very nice
Hello Alan, I have been following you for quite a time now. I enjoy the way you present your videos and I also enjoy your practical genius. Thank you for a friendly and interesting video. Harry van Niekerk, South Africa.
Thank you Harry I am so happy you like what I doIt make a guy feel good. Thank you for watching.
I like it going to try making one like it.
Good luck on your build. I like the way mine is working just need to work on the grizzly bars. Thanks for watching.
Nice work Alan, that should help you move more material. I think I would try and work that new hole a little more before the snow flies. Looks like it is a good one.
Thank you I think this is what I have been looking for all summer. And yes I want to get back to that hole soon if not I will have to wait 6 long months.
good deal, nice gold. I would find a way to bank some of that dirt for winter if possible
Thank you I would love to have a truck load of that dirt to run but I just don't see that happening I hope to get out one more time this fall. Thanks for watching.
Great build adjust angle of 5gallon as well keep hands out of water means you stay dry and can run longer in cold weather love it i made one simliar with smaller square buckets all slides together easy for packing into dig site
I agree it needs some fine tuning and if I get a chance to get out again it will be cold. I can see the square buckets working well as well . Than you for watching.
great idea! why spend $400-800 on a highbanker! smart and innovated! Thanks!
Thanks and you are welcome.
Thanks for this idea. Looks very good. Will I build and try in the field. class
Greetings Goldjunge Tom
Thanks Tom Good luck on you build I think you will find it is super easy to make. Thanks for watching.
Hey, look who I have run into here!! Greetings my friend...
I guess its easy to build an light to carry. With a fey of this ideas i can du several different tasks in the field? Greetings Tom
super idea , i will have to try mae me one too :)
Thank you good luck on your build. Thanks for watching.
One observation of your Bucket Blaster, I recon if you heated the spray nozzle and made a fan type spray it would cover more of the bucket, and wash more material. Thumbs up. You've Done It Again. Robert, "from down under"
Thanks Robert I think I like the water flow just the way it is if I make a spray out the nozzle I think I would lose a lot of the pressure. Thanks for watching.
I miss digging in the dirt to find that shiny I’m unable to do to my hips see I had two total hip replacements and I can’t get out like I use to but great shiny and good luck
Thank you it's sure is a bummer when life happens but it happens to us all at some point. Thanks for watching and take care.
Looking like it works better than a regular hibanker
It worked pretty well I like my trommel a lot better.
Dang I like that looks like something I can afford lol what size pump was that.
I’m saving this video it’s awesome plows through the dirt.
Thanks I am using a 2000 gph pump.
Nice
I used to use those tubs at deer camp, they will get red hot and have hundreds of holes pre drilled
Thank you for the show and tell. Did you reprocess the tailings to check the losses?
I like you bucket blaster high banker. I would like to see blueprints on this so I could build one for myself.
Glad you like it. The best blue print is the video I never make any plans I just have a idea in my head and go with it. If you have any questions I would by happy to try and answer them for you. Thanks for subscribing.
@@alanrobertson2510 Thank you for reply back to me. I will watch the video again and make up a list of things I will need to make up one of my own.
Good luck It's pretty simple to make I did do away with my grizzly bars and went to screen and it keeps a lot of the big rocks out. I did do a video in that a few weeks ago.
for this and for all his inventions is k called him the master of the sluice box
saludo vive en rd???
@@dominicanundergold4047 si hermano
yo tambien en el este
Thank you I will take that. Thanks for watching.
Interesting... 🙇♂️ works...what more u need?
And again.. So cool
Thank you I think this is what I was looking for I think it will work great
@@alanrobertson2510 I was out yesterday running my gold hog stream sluice and I messed my back up.. after classify material for 2 hours, I decided to sit on a bucket and feed it.. well I think sitting on that bucket hurt my back... Lol. I guess I deserve it for trying to be lazy
I hope your back feels beater soon. That is exactly how we got started running the recirculating system.
@@alanrobertson2510 I have a homemade crash box highbanker that I made for it.. I just put it back as a stream sluice to try out a powerhead that I made.. I made one like the power pig that doc made.. It's ok.. but I like the highbanker way better
That sound interesting I have not seen the power pig yet.
It’s so funny to see all of your little ideas and stuff that work better than all these other products that are over complicated and extremely overpriced.
That gold fox trommel is the biggest joke I have seen
Necessity is the Mother of Invention ! Being Broke and wanting cool tools helps too. LOL What pump you using there ? Seems to be Chooooching along quite good. I'd like to come up with a little MINI High Banker something along that line. Smaller, eaa?
👍👍👍
I do like the homebuild prospecting gear and your bucket blaster is just the type of gear i love by the way what gph pump was you using there .
Glad you like it. I was running a 2000 gph pump.
nice find! and great set up, nice and inexpensive! Your pump is so quite, is it running on a battery?
Yes the pump is a 12 volt 2000 gph pump.
Hi Alan, you did a great job of showing the yellow bucket and explained that very well but we did not get see the square bucket very much (Close up) how is it cut etc.
I am gathering material to make one of these. I also have a yellow-dog pump that I hope to restore and use.
I also noticed that you moved the rocks from the grizzly bars by hand a lot could they be on more of an angle? (steeper?)
Hi Keith. The beginning of the video show the white bucket the best. There was two cuts in the bucket one for the grizzly bars to sit on and could be adjusted to any angle you want and one cut in the front for the sluice. I hope this helps good luck with your project.
you must try the gold owl matting it´s a man from sweden who have made this mat it´s awsome mats
Thank you The gold owl mats look great I can't wait to give them a try. Thanks for watching.
What size did you say your pump is. I love the workings of your naggin.SHARP .Keep it Golden Always
Hello David I was using a 2000 GPH with a six foot hose.
In your earlier videos you've talked about a 2000 gph pump and a 1000 gph pump. I assume 'cause there's a generous water flow that you're using the 2000. Or do you have a bigger pump now? What size, what model, what brand? That would be fun to include on EACH of your vids. You're fun to watch! Thanks.
Thank you James the pump I was using was my 2000 gph it is a Amarine bilge pump that I bought off Amazon I have used it for two seasons now without any problems. Thanks for watching
How about using a washing machine tub, porcelain one... tilt it backwards and cut 5 inch slot in the back for waste to escape after classification into a metal slide to get it away from trommel.... any large rocks simply use the shovel and catch them and toss away. You can run a water source through the front. The motor could actually be above the tub or on the back of the tub... pretty simple process
Good stuff. Just wondering if you ware out pumps by pumping gritty water all the time?
I keep expecting for my pumps to go out but so far so good. I have been running them for two seasons now without a problem. Thanks for watching.
Alan that's as about the cheapest I have seen as far as making a high banker with , the slues box cost more then a five gallon bucket. What is your length of the slues , is it good for floor gold in black dirt. Alan would you use a blue bowl for beach sand, it looked like you were scooping out Sand wet like you would find on a beach. Can you send me a copy of your setup using the five gallon bucket or are you selling the unit as a add on to a lighter high banker. Thnx Alan have a Good bless day.
looks great, what size pump and hose are you using?
2000 gph with a inch and a 1/8 hose.
@@alanrobertson2510 - I think you mean 1 and 1/8 inch hose : )
good idea! are you in montana...looks like it
Thanks Craig. Yes I am in Montana almost time to start digging again Thanks for subscribing..
Just a thought.
You know how a Dry Washers works with a weighted cam rotating. Would it be hard to put one on the water inlet so it would rock the bucket and the bars just a little to help clear the bigger rocks?
I am sure that would work I would have to make some changes the buckets are sitting on the sluice and I don't think I want the sluice to shake. Thanks for the idea.
Really ingenious way to make a high banker, question can you make the sluce out of thin plywood if you can't afford an aluminum one asking for a friend...lol great video sir thank you much... merry Christmas
Yes you can I am using a six foot wooden sluice right now for the winter. Just seal it up good so it doesn't swell.
@@alanrobertson2510 should I use paint or marine grade varnish roughed up with sand paper...
@@seanparchim9165 I have tried both use the varnish.
@@alanrobertson2510 thank you sir much appreciated, merry Christmas
Allan did you cuc all the plastick right down to the bottom of the ,,pail and that work perfect
I am not sure what you are asking sorry
Apologies if you mentioned in the video and I missed it, what size of pump is good for this setup? Just made a similar one, thanks for the video!!
No problem, I use a 2000 GPH pump. Thanks for watching.
i maded one like this after watching this but i used a square beckett
What size recirculating pump do use with that and what size would you suggest for one of those gutter sluices, gallons per hour?
I was using 2000 gph pump for a gutter sluice I would say a 800 gph would work fine
Hey Alan, I know this is an old video, but I've heard you mention gold hog mats a couple times and now the gold owl mats, which exact mats are you using under your pump?? thanks...
Que bomba é essa?
Consigo no Brasil?
What did you use for a water pump
I use a 2000 gph 12 volt pump.
Think about this if you will, why not have triple grates to classify the materials,,, washing each section , it will really wash the material off better. That’s the key isn’t it,,, to keep the bigger material off the sluice
So I did away with the grizzly bares and went to 1/4 inch screen and I like it a lot better.
