- Jump on board at the legendary Motor Ranch VR46 like you’ve never seen it before, to discover how The Doctor himself, with Franco Morbidelli, Pecco Bagnaia, and the Sky Team VR46 Academy practice dirt track riding to help chase down Grand Prix podiums.
Ask any motorcycle racer about going fast and within seconds the words ‘feeling’ and ‘control’ are usually mentioned. Controlling the power, and feeling the bike slide and move are some of the most important skills for any racer to master in their quest for the podium. At Valentino Rossi’s Motor Ranch VR46, in northern Italy, a bespoke dirt flat track incorporating two ovals and a TT-style circuit, help riders of the VR46 Academy as well as The Doctor himself keep their skills razor-sharp.

100% best training around , lose control to gain control
No doubt the goat. Still racing. And still have the potential to win a single race at motogp. The doctor the master. Forza Vale🇮🇹🇮🇹👍👍❤❤💪💪
Still win a race😂 come on mate he is well past his used buy date & should give his seat up to more younger hungrier rider.
Ty 122 you say this but can do as well as him I think not. Just finish top 10 is out of reach of ALL you critics. You dont have like him, you can be a fan of others, but you should not disrespect his ability
Obviously not a true rider like Rossi, it's a passion for him like true rider's. I'm pushing 61 years old and still love to wheelie at 160kph!. Long live Rossi and all that know.
Then watch the hungrier rider's and I will enjoy watching
all rider's regardless of status 😁👍
@@Ty-dz9ed he came 7th in the championship meaning he beat 15 of those younger hungrier riders you're talking about, and as far as I am concerned if you're finishing in the points consistently you deserve to be there.
The Motor Ranch VR46 is one of a kind 🤩 Like its owner

I'd like to live there.

Bring on the Springfield Mile.
@@652barry yo....thats a big difference in every way.....these guys slide around at 40 mph at the
"MILE" you slide around at 140 mph
Starting as a youngster, I raced flattrack every chance for about 10 years, and played with racing it after that to some degree.
I was never any genius at it but eventually I made expert, and always had the most fun doing it.
Those skills are different skills and they stay with you. I trailride, Im always sliding, its too much fun.
I streetride, if there's gravel on pavement it has never caused a problem. Getting so used to sliding and sliding and sliding gives a person skills to deal with all kinds of situations on bikes....................mainly its the most fun ever!
The Legend himself 💛 #VR46
And still showing wisdom beyond his years. Go Valle, you truly are the best of the best. Stay safe mate from your fans down under
There is not one word from the "GOAT" that i could ever doubt
If I had a playground like this in my backyard I would never go to work.
"The Boss" Love Rossi.
Sup bro? How you and A doing?
Valentino Rossi is a legend in my eyes!!
Yep, absolutely right. This is why all the World Champions in the early 90s came from the US and from dirt track. They were all able to back wheel steer the 2-strokes on the race track.
ROSSI the best I've seen..💪🏼💯
The goat doin what he does. He may race till he is 70!!!
An old timer superstar named Kenny Roberts started the “dirt training for roadracers” thing back in the 70’s. He kept a fleet of XR100 Hondas available for lack of grip training on dirt ovals and TT tracks. Some World champions trained at Kenny’s house. It’s the only way to learn. Good stuff.
Rich Oliver told me a similar story when I took his course years ago.
@@MrBlurry2011Awesome. I love Rich! That course must have been a blast!!
@@videditorEB1 broke my collarbone the last day during the race test, but I couldn’t wait to get back on the horse. Learned so much in 2 days.
@@MrBlurry2011 don’t tell me…high side?? Brutal. Sorry about the crash, I’ve done the collarbone thing a couple times myself. Nothing fun about that. Nothing more fun than riding a dirt bike though. God Bless You brother. ❤️😊❤️
@@videditorEB1 high side indeed. First time ever riding like that. No regrets.
Vale forever GOAT VR46.
Stay safe.
Perfect place while in lockdown! Agree dirt bike racers do well road racing. Too many electrics now less sliding 😐. Can't wait until the bikes are back on!
2 minutes? just 2 minutes? 😭😭😭
ROSSI=GOAT! Stay safe Valentino.
VR46 is and will always b one of a kind.
Bike of version of "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"
ROSSI RULES FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN. BTW This is no secret. If you race or even just ride motorcycles you had better train on a dirt bike.
Sober SteveO telling Drunken SteveO stories with videos may be the best thing on RUclips currently...keep um' coming!
Imagine trying to build this track in California. The state agencies would tie you up for 20 years with environmental impact reports. But Valentino is legend in Italy.
Can you imagine if we would have grown up in the US? He would have been an amazing motocross rider
Love v.rossi
🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️❤️
If curious most American riders back in 80's , 90's and early 2000. Have dirt track back ground.
GRANDE VALEEEEEE❤️❤️💙💛
This video needs to be about three times as long and zero of the muzak please.
Schwantz would exit corners here making wheelies on an old air cooled two stroke 500cc dirt bike
Raced in 500cc era, motogp era, and now playstation era!
What a great place for a driver. I hope #46 will ride a motorcycle until the end. ps. Spencer,Mamola,Lawson,King KennyRoberts, I can continue for an houre, all great riders have driven the dirt before the circuit.
love your guys monster energy drinks. and i love riding dirt bike but i only have a little xr 80. still fun to ride, love your guy drinks still.
The king
Awesome, I want to be just like Rossi when I grow up
Awesome allround driver, rider, pilot....👍
這些新一代的車手,出生於90年代,當時歐洲的滑胎車開始出現。
他們受到滑胎車的騎乘影響,把滑胎技術運用在MOTOGP上。
因此近十年來,我們看到了這種華麗式的操駕風格。

Hello and hai to u. Stay safe. Loved the track 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Still looking young Vale!
Omg I miss racing 😖👍🏻
Thanks #Yamaha for support #46 🔥
Man that would be a blast to train with the dr.
What a life ❤️👍
Rossi is the best
VR owns a Harley XR-750 flat tracker, I think it came to him from Tommy Hayden? It sure would be cool to see him fire it up and make some rumbling thunder!
Monster get VR to the Daytona TT next year!
LEGENDDDDDDDDDDDDDD ......................
Awesome 🤟🏽

Kapan MotoGP 2020 dimulai? Udah gak sabar ni

Rossi!!!! wheres the invite ?????
Get this man on a speedway bike
El si es mi idolo #VR46 quisiera poder manejar moto como el
I've always wondered why he sticks his leg out when he approaches cornering on a track. This has got to be the reason. Yes? No?
Muscle memory, right? 😀
I believe it’s to shift the weight over for the approaching corner
There is a lot of rumours as to how the " doctors dangle " started , people say it's for a type of air brake , for shifting weight , muscle memory. VR46 has never said why he started it as far as I'm aware , lots of other GP riders do it too now
@@danlewis3185 there was even a rumour that he made it up just as a mind game to show off how everyone copies him all the time.
Super merci pour la vidéo
MarcoMoto2 look like legendary Marco58, I miss you simoncelli.

some people dislike the video, cos it is only 2 minutes
Vale sei un Grande! Ma ti prego, si dice "to improve" non "for improve"
Valentino has made a wonderful place to train, but Kenny Roberts had a similar place back in the 80’s. This is NOT a new idea! Valentino has just gone further with the concept.
who said it was a new idea?

Sure!! Dream boy... dream again
You? Rossi likes me more
Where’s the jumps and air time haha?
🔥🙌
Do you hit jumps or just ride a dirt bike around the track lol
You're missing the point... these guys are track racers and dirt tracking is to improve bike handling skills which transfer to MotoGP.
Never heard of American flat track racing?
@@hfr8343 I'm just joking that must be fun as hell

Rossi is good...but this is not motto cross...more like flat track.
Sind das alles Rossi Clone xD

Tienes que entrenar mas rosita😉
This should be ‘Valentino Rossi realises he will never be quick enough to be competitive again, especially in these strained economic times, and retires with grace’. Seriously Vale, I love you and everything you have done for the sport, but now you deserve to bow out with your head held high. You will always remain an excellent ambassador for motorcycling.
