I think hes the GOAT of motorsports period. I dont watch MotoGP, i am a F1 fan, but F1 drivers make a lot of money and i cant think of any drivers who have a driver academy, giving youth the chance, making it a bit easier for them. and then targeting having a team in MotoGP. its just amazing. How proud he would have been on his last day in MotoGP. So many drivers from his academy in all categories wearing his number on their helmets. LEGEND.
@@TheDatpussy Yeah, but so does Lando too i think. But they aren't like managing. Alonso is the same age as Rossi and has a similar length of career. So glad Graham Bensinger interviewed Rossi! I first met Rossi and Colin Edwards in the Castrol Honda garage during the 2000 Suzuka 8 hour race. Rossi was riding that VTR1000SP like he stole it. I've been a die-hard fan ever since that day.
I know basically nothing about VR, but it's clear to see why so many F1 drivers respect (and even idolize) him. Awesome piece.... how about an interview or two with some of the current F1 grid?
He did Lewis 5 years ago man. Let’s let MotoGP have it’s spotlight without F1 being brought into the equation again and again just because a lot of the world ignorantly follows cars more than bikes.
Are you a new-born baby born in Dec2021 or a child born after 2015 ?? How can you be so IGNORANT lmao?? You don't know who he is ?? You live in a cave or Amazon Rainforest ? Bikes = VR46.
@@Jimmie92 Exactly. The only reason why some countries like England have F1 even competing with motogp is because sky sports news refuses to cover anything on Motogp. Some people transcend their sport and become legends after they retire. In Vales case he achieved that status whilst still competing in it. There are comments on here saying he hasn’t won championships for many years (which is true) and yet every MotoGP was a home race for him no matter where he competed right up until he retired. I can’t think of anyone who comes close to VR in bringing so many fans into a sport and leaving such a vacuum once they leave it.
