Just sad that many people forget what that guy had done in the past and how good he really is. I remember Troy Bayliss saying in a documentary, when Rossi announced to leave Honda for Yamaha, that: "If he (Rossi) wins with the Yamaha, he would be one step closer to god." Rossi won it four times. He is the last 500cc World Champion and I wonder how many of the so called "Aliens" would have survived a 500gp season. But that's only my 5cent.

Being 40 just beginning track riding and watching this. This guy is younger than I, and has been doing this for 20 years and makes it look easy. Wow. Just wow. He sees things faster and can compute them faster than any human. It’s Is artificial intelligence like. If you are behind him you just better be ok with it. You’re done.

Realistically, he deserved the title last year too, and to still be at the absolute top of the sport at 37 years of age is an extraordinary achievement and should be respected and celebrated. Been watching Rossi race since i was 9 years old in 99 and I still remember that race where he ran to the toilet after, was a funny moment id never forget, I grew up loving motorcycles and used to watch Michael doohan and Max biaggi battle it out, doohan was coming towards the end of his career and when I saw Rossi I was captivated by his fun personality and his natural abilty. I've been a fan of his to this day
