Great Catch of lots of emergency vehicles! I prefer the fire department responses is the best!🧑🚒🚒
EMS RESCUE truck... rare until i saw it 12 times in a row ;-)
It's like I get it your not the only working truck in the city.
Jonathan Hamelin I subscribed
what is it ?
?
???? Idk what that means
"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK" Move!!! :D Just love the sound!
I am so glad I live in the small town I do. We pull over for police, fire, ambulances, rescue squads and funeral processions. We were brought up right, unlike some city folk
Diana Jenkins city drivers are real idiots for not pulling over for emergency services
It depends. Drivers should ALWAYS try to be helpful and alert Getting out of the freaking way is the point. Drivers who are oblivious and/or who don’t understand (or maybe don’t care), that seconds count drive me nuts.
ALF got no chill on dem air horns 🤣
Sooooo dont miss the bread van days.
Everybody gangsta till at 7:40 when the fire department’s food truck rolled up
Not the food truck! Gotta love the FD burger van.
7:46 never thought I see a fire Department box truck. Or something that looks like one of those SPEE DEE DELIVERY TRUCKS
4:22 when the high way patrol does the traffic break its badass
2:20 the gta Iv fire truck siren 😂
At the same time listen... Is that the trucks little horn of a squeaky toy?
7:40 It's the fire department food truck.
Judy Haynes best comment ever
9:30
Manufacturer: How loud do you want the siren
Fire department: Yes
probably my favorite siren tone other than powercall
8:30 nice
Man you’re everywhere! Great comp!
+Nestor Lewis thanks Man:)
Nestor Lewis and
That ems rescue rig is awesome
I like how the cars @4:15 keep speeding up and slowing down like 'Oh i'm sure he's not going to swirl back into my lane -this- time.'
He was holding back traffic
That open cab yellow e-one ladder newark has shown in this video is a 1987 model year and one of the oldest e-one ladders still in operation if even just a reserve....
Great Content!! You've earned a new sub
Thank you :))
awesome 👍
Gooooo get e'm brotherrrsssss!!!!!!
Nice comp bro!
Nice piece of work you did there Jeff
+joseph Benecke Sr thank you :)
+joseph Benecke Sr thanks Man;)
Jeff Stang my brother nice work
Thanks Man:)
Cool
Grrat vid bro great catches
Cool video
4:15 That state trooper must have drunk a 5-gallon bucket of whiskey bc he was all over that road, lol. Great compilation vid.
@Nick H Yeah, they call it a rolling road block, it slows down traffic but doesn't bring it to a complete stop. I was just joking about it swaying severely.
It's a technique commonly used by CHP in california, so kindly dubbed a traffic break. Used to keep traffic slowed down either before, during or after a scene
Very NICE 👌 Keep doing your thing!! 💥💢💯💣👨🚒
Thank you! Will do!
Thanks for the video
Some of the dam people don't get the hell out of the way.
William E honestly I think that's everywhere lol they move half the time for our department as well
Lee you are right I'm sure . I'm in San Diego California USA and some people do but they don't care people driving around with no clue to life. On there cell phones, texting...etc..
I got hit from behind in my work truck and the guy was on his cell phone getting off the freeway and I was stop in traffic. I'm still hurting my neck and back from 3 years ago. Doing better but I was messed up week afterwards. I was in a full size van. I serviced fire extinguishers and safety equipment for business....
Be safe out there...
William E brother I hope you feel better ! We our a rural department so we use our povs alot. My truck lights up like a Christmas tree and it still doesn't help . We have had issues with people not slowing down on scenes of mvas. Even with fore apparatuses on scene it doesn't help sometimes
Kind of in love with this truck at @7:38
Nice great work
Thanks
8:28 lol responding without lights
He did have lights, just they're old xenon strobe bulbs, which flash too quickly for a lot of cameras to pick up during any time that isn't at night.
In the 90s I was a volunteer firefighter a small Coastal Community. We had an 80s model Ford Bronco set up for EMS response. It had a two-way master switch for power. If you switch the switch in One Direction, you could just power everything including lights and siren. If you flip the switch the other way, the radio and siren work but the lights did not. Unfortunately, I had never been told this little tidbit of information so I responded about 2 miles with no lights.
Luckily it was the offseason and the middle of the day so there really was not a lot of vehicular traffic. Of course I was obeying all traffic laws and making sure people were yielding before I went through an intersection but I'm sure they probably wondered why there was no lights flashing and just a loud ass siren LOL
JoeUglyFatMama Funny bro, sometimes we learn things the hard way, meaning our brothers busting our chops for years over a small mistake, lol. Brotherhood.
xtermn8 I beg to differ. Strobes normally cause some type of flicker on a camera, the whole duration the rig was going by, even when turning, there was nothing. The rig also seemed fairly new considering its trailer had LED runner lights instead of incandescent bulbs. I'd also like to point iut that the trailing HAZMAT truck behind the chief vehicle had the exact same lightbar as the leading HAZMAT truck. Both of which are LED.
Hex he probrably forgot to turn them on lol thats what it looks like as his trailer has no lights active also
3:00 get out of the road lady
@3:29.... Take The Test Muh Fukuh!!! Only in Nork!!! HAHAHA
10:47 just ems rescue trucks
I have a really stupid question to ask. Is the sound/strident tones a thing a person controls? It's not a toggle on a dashboard and all the magic comes to life?
shootybaking no it's automatic programmed
If your talking about something like the Federal Q, or the EQ2B siren, well those are called manuals. And to answer your question, yes. The Lieutenant or Captain controls it.
umm if you turn the lights ON on the haz mat semi truck people move out of the way better Jersey City
With an all strobe light bar and strobe perimeter lights I'd say they were on; the camera just didn't pick them up because of the flash rate.
They were too busy playing "DJ" with the sireeen !!
@@firefightr_spike3846 No. They were not on! The lower side lights were visible.
All the other trucks on the video - Strobe, LED, whatever, showed up.
@@GMan-yv8cb Ah, must have missed that. I see what you're talking about now.
Are these all up in New Jersey
Nice vid with lots of cool catches.
This west coaster has a few questions. From 5:46 to 7:56, were all those units responding to the same incident? If so, what was it? Also, which agency runs that EMS Rescue rig which is basically featured from the 10 minute mark through the end of the video? What kinds of incidents is it called out on?
University Hospital EMS located in Newark New Jersey operates this Heavy Rescue. Responds to any type of rescue and medical calls. Staffed by 2 Rescue Specialist. Only hospital based (Heavy Rescue) in the country that they are aware of.
So they respond to a simple medical aid?. Or is for MCI's or mass whatever these days? What good to 2 personnel do on a large scale incident? Also, you became part of the problem when you failed to move to the right as we require all vehicles. You are on both sides of the issue.
All were responding to the Learjet crash in Carlstadt last year
Their primary function is to respond to MVA's requiring extrication, rope/trench rescues, and traumas including but not limited to MCI's. They also act as back up for lift assists and psych patients. Pretty much the swiss army knife of the UMD fleet.

1:56 we have one of those were i live but its white its a Detroit diesel
I understand painting fire trucks Fluorescent Green for higher visibility, but RED is so universally recognized for Fire Equipment I don’t under a base of white. What are cities too cheap to spring for the nice paint? My town used to keep Engines in service for 20 - 40
years and the units where high gloss Red with Gilded Stripes and Chrome all over the place. And they were made in Wisconsin, USA. Peter Pirsch Company of Waukesha trucks where in service seems like everywhere.
USFS uses Green.
Airports usually use Yellow
Watched the whole video and still looking for the "best rare"
No obsession with the EMS rescue truck...
What's happening in the 6:00 - 7:30 responding? All of them say emergency response care
mass casualty units
I think I've seen the same response, plane crash from what I'm thinking
Mark Tv dude he said from 6:00-7:30 therefore we all saw it
why was that battalion chief vehicle we even left and right through all four lanes of traffic back and forth back and forth ? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😳😳😳😳😮😮😮😮😮😯😯😯😯😯😯😮😮😮😯😯😯😧😧😧😧😧😧😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨😕😕😕🤨🤨🤨😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Im thinking police slowing all 4 lanes down at once.
What happened on kero rd
Those yellow Newark rigs look like they're from the 1980s .
+Sonic 7 yea the open cab is from 1987 newaks rigs are mostly red now and white
those are the old late 80' early 90's now they are replacement rigs there is more of them in service now then some of the new models as those from now are breaking down cause they cant handle our Newark side streets and constant wear and tear 2018
Great video Jeff. Thanks.
+Susan Leingang thanks glad you liked it :)
Newark FD rocks retro
WAIT. A non police vehicle there was traffic breaking.
Sorry for being a dummy! But what does the EMS Rescue truck do? The same as a fire department?
It's literally a heavy rescue operated by EMS
at 3:29 what the guy said take the test lol
Yea
925...why would an idiot pull out in front of a firetruck?? now I see why. They are from New Jersey where they get their license from Sears
Question from the UK? What does the EMS Reacue do? What is the crew skill set? And what type of jobs do they respond too?
EMS is emergency medical service. EMS Rescue handles mostly medical emergencies. Like a more well equipped ambulance that doesn’t carry patients. Or it might, depending on what type it is.
That unit is part of a hospital based EMS unit out of Newark, NJ. It performs vehicle extrication as well as other rescue tasks.
Craig R Thank you Craig. Its a lot different to our set up here in the UK.
Would love to come and see some of these in action.
Emergency medical services that us all you need
Is sorry
Ladder Trucks aren't rare. In Tulsa almost every traffic accident or car breaking down or mainly any call on a road they respond. They are traffic control for us. In other places it might be different but you see them around lots of times.
16 times the ems rescue was in the video
what does the rapid deployment force do?
lmao, say the name again but slower, its self explanatory.. RAPID Deployment, typically heavily geared up to deliver more supplies/resources/units to the scene faster than just standard multi-unit response
Rapidly Deploy...
@4:36 can someone tell me why police cars do that on interstates? What’s the point, thanks!
Tre Walker it's called making a traffic break. It creates time on the highway further down when there isn't any cars on the road.
At 2:46 that is weird a police vehicle with a federal q siren
Which city had the EMS Rescue truck?
NEWARK UMDNJ
At 0:57 Why the actual hell would people still keep going? There's a big ass truck with lights on ready to move out, and people just ignore it, like, how ignorant are people?
sometimes, a truck will not roll out until everyone's aboard
I swear from 5:45-7:30 there filmed in the same place
Why was this filmed on a potatoe
At 12: 51 what state is it in ?
Nicholas Wurth Joisey
Their fire trucks seem soo outdated
Lol na..the ems rescue was just cruisin'
What are mass care units for?
Like collapses plane crashes bombing etc. Where large numbers of people can be injured
Max Hallman Oh, ok. Thank you for clarifying
What is a esu unit?
railfanmike gaming emergency services unit
it's basically SWAT
🚨 Hello firefighters friends🚒 Bonjour les amis des pompiers🚒 Freunde der Feuerwehrleute🚨 Have a nice day🚨
4:43 is he traffic breaking
Yeah he is
what is it for?
@@y.s8915 toaf mantinance with out shutting the road down
@@maxhallman1036 Oh thank you sir
What is that at 2:46?
passthe goddamnbutter Transit police I guess?

Rare ?????
Why is this rare equipment?
It's stuff that almost never gets used. Like MCI units and spares.
if it dont have a q on it, then it aint a fire truck is how i see it. unless its like a utility truck or brush unit or a chief car
or the department doesn't have the money or the need for a Q siren.....We're a town of 1200, both our engine and tanker (both Pierce enforcers) don't have Qs on them, they are still firetrucks, we can't justify getting one because we really don't need one, I'm sure most departments that don't use Qs would agree with me, think before running your mouth.
Fink Response Videos we are a town of 1700, both of our engines, ('89 Arrow, '01 Saber) have Q's. Why? Why not, we are the busiest volunteer department in the county and run in tandem with the largest paid department in the county, it gets people out of the way
wow. you guys really need to learn how to take a joke
What is so rare?
The fire trucks
Poor EMS rescue..
3:12 is ear rape
Bruh fire fighters aren’t rare it happens often
It's not the firefighters responding themselves, it's the vehicles that are rare. These only come out usually once in a blue moon, because they are meant for more advanced tasks like multi causality accidents or hazmat incidents.
Who TF goes “I want to live in New Jersey” lol
