Hi stranded blitz you can do 512 symmetry stock (just do the x64 symmetry glitch butplace the the mess of parts with x8 symmetry.) do what you want with it.

Technically... He not only made his building the actual rock, but further made the building into a kinetic _(eeh? semantics, if it isn't)_ launcher for manned(!!) service pods! While I did see it coming that there'd be some means of small transport at the top (it's Stratzenblitz, after all), I will admit that: 1) I thought it was going to be a method of transport to the mentioned sister-colony, and 2) I did NOT expect it to be what effectively amounts to a bullet cannon-shell launch system! lol
Was a blast to work on this, even though I literally got there at the last minute. Also, fun fact, I accidentally made the drill on the Megarig too low, but as long as you Timewarp it being tilted a bit won't be an issue while mining :P
As always, you don't disappoint! Your music taste is always flawless. Keep up the great work! On a side note, I'd love to participate in this project sometime. If I get around to it, I'll totally give it a shot. To everyone who participated, amazing job! I can't wait to see more! 頑張ってください!!

It would be cool if you did a series testing/reviewing other beginners crafts and providing feedback for improvements. I'd be happy to provide a couple of my prouder noob level constructions. p.s. I prefer your metal music choices, it just fits the awesome power of rockets better :P
ya ain't gonna get better by cheating stuff. I only do that type of thing for testing purposes... like testing max range of an SSTO after it's reached orbit and been fully refuelled (the flight to orbit + plus station docking + refuelling time is more than I'm willing to sit through just to see my true DeltaV/max range in vacuum)
I keep rewatching the first half. That city's a dream! :) It's inspirational too. Colonization has been my goal for as long as I've had KSP, but it's had to wait, not only for me to get good enough, but also for a million side projects. Right now, I'm better at spaceplane design than basic rocket launches thanks to the side projects.
Probe control has no lag anywhere in the Kerbin system, only signal strength issues. Between that and the omnidirectional dishes, I think the dishes must actually be devices for injecting the signal into subspace or something.
This was beautiful! Loss for words but wow it's amazing everything worked so well and now I'm inspired to try something but i can tell many computer is already nervously sweating.

Thanks! I've seen alot of collaborative projects in KSP but this one I think is the largest in scale and most impressive. The team did a SPECATULAR job with this and I was honored to work with them!

Its not actually the 109 kiloton vehicle, its a half size version of it. The initial launch mass was about 50 kilotons and the part count was about 1500. I've yet to actually find a practical use for the full size one.
That was a great exodus from Kaladan to Duna! Very impressive builds for someone whose greatest achievement was a mediumish three-section solar space station with an orbit a bit lower than Kerbin. :D
Oh my gosh stratzen, not 100% reusable and launched with SSTO? No crazy hijinks? =P Insane stuff dude, I wish KSP actually ran that smoothly as your videos make it seem.
I am thoroughly impressed by all these builds, my big boy craft always end up shaking themselves into kraken-fueled obliteration. Maybe I shouldn't use 64* symmetry mode to make round objects out of mk3 tanks...
@@grantexploit5903 Actually I think it was radial *out*, not *in*. The only part of the mission(s) that moves Kerbin around is the launch (and some part of the gravity turn). As we seen, launches were during the day, therefore Kerbin was being moved away from Kerbol. Once you're in orbit, Kerbin no longer gets the momentum from exhaust fumes, because they go off into interplanetary space (duh.)

@@gabrielbonfim3077 Thank you! My specs are: CPU: Ryzen 3900x, GPU: RTX 2080 ti, RAM: 32 Gb @ 3000 Mhz. The gameplay was not as smooth as it was in the video. I sped up the footage by at least 4-10x to make it look good.

I ask because I am going to buy my pc and I am thinking about getting a i7 10th Gen, with 6 cores and 12 threads, plus an RTX 2060 S (8GB of VRAM) and 32GB and 32GB of RAM 2933Mhz, do you think this hardware is capable to play ksp with scatterer and Eve in a rocket with 800 to 1000 parts at 40 to 50 fps? What do you think?
@@gabrielbonfim3077 KSP is not going to run 800-1000 parts at that frame rate. My computer can't even do that. I dont think any computer can do that, even a high OC intel processor. That said, you system plan doesn't sound too bad. But honestly I'd wait maybe 1-2 months for the RTX 30xx series to become more avaliable for the new AMD cpus to launch. The new parts are much better value than the last generation and so its highly worthwhile to wait if you want to get the most for your money. I'd say an RTX 3070 and AMD 50xx cpu will be your best bet for a new system. The 3070 is equivlant to a 2080ti at only 500$ and the new AMD cpus are looking to be great value for the money as well.
too late, upsilon goes from inside the kerbol system to the outside. eve was way before duna, and now we are at jool already. ( I just realized who I was reacting to XD hi!)
Holy Crap. The ideas and execution of this are insane :~) I can't wait, and hope it will be, for KSP2 to stop us having to use the imagination so much in terms of "this is a big ass sat dish" etc and for it to actually be a big ass sat dish etc. WOW, just straight up WOW. I am proud when I make a rocket that moves lol, never mind the einstein stuff you lot are up to :~) I was slightly disappointed to not see a sandworm of in the distance ;~) Gotta get that spice
I'm very much looking forward to KSP 2 as well! I'll finally be able to fulfill my interstellar dreams (hopefully without all the bugs that KSP 1 has...)
This video was a long time in the making. We began in June with the actual construction of arrakeen, took us over an entire month to finish the city, and took stratzenblitz about the same amount of time to record and edit the video

Took me hours to get the landing down, as my craft would break upon loading saves if I wasn't in orbit or landed.
Imagine constructing a city by LANDING WHOLE BUILDINGS at its final resting spots. That's next-level prefabrication methods.

I was surprised too. Turns out, if landed structures are more than 200 m away it doesn't load physics so the lag is greatly reduced!

I also joined the Upsilon Initiative a few months ago and I’m now cooking up some builds for the ortus city
All that's needed now is a facility intended for holding copious amounts of snacks!

This video was a long time in the making. We began in June with the actual construction of arrakeen, took us over an entire month to finish the city, and took stratzenblitz about the same amount of time to record and edit the video

Not quite, its half size version of it. The whole thing was a mere 50 kilotons on the launch pad, rather than 100.
