“JWE2 will definitely have another DLC; a Chaos Theory Pack” ^ Been seeing this a lot in response to the video. Typing my thoughts here to point people to. Obviously, there’s a chance there will be a Chaos Theory pack.Considering how much-anticipated the show is, it would financially make sense. But personally, I’m not *expecting* it to happen. Because Chaos Theory doesn’t end with season 1. It’s not as straightforward as adding one more species pack to JWE2 in June/July to “finish the roster”, with Becklespinax and some variants. The second season of Chaos Theory is rumored to premiere as soon as August/September this year. Does that mean *another* pack for JWE2? Or should Frontier just wait for both seasons and do 1 pack? What happens when Chaos Theory gets a third season? And a fourth? If the show is successful (which it probably will be), future seasons are likely. Does JWE2 need to keep going to add the new things that Chaos Theory introduces down the line, as they’ve done with Camp Cretaceous? When does it end? A commitment to adding Chaos Theory content to JWE2 stretches the support for the game closer and closer to “JWE3” (or whatever it will be titled) and that doesn’t make sense to me. But it also doesn’t make sense to only add content from Chaos Theory season 1, because it’s “so close” now anyway. We already know what the reaction will be to that; we’ve seen it with the demand for the missing Camp Cretaceous content since that first pack. I think it’s much cleaner to end JWE2 before Chaos Theory - i.e. now - and then put all Chaos Theory content in “JWE3”. Not saying there won't be a Chaos Theory pack, just saying I disagree with the predominant assumption that it's basically guaranteed to happen.
I agree a JWE3 game would be great for stuff like planet coaster terrain modifications so we can make bioluminescent parasaurolophus caves with kayak River adventures, deeper water for rivers so Dinos can’t cross and much MUCH more. So we don’t need mods for stuff like that. Do you agree?
It feels like a final DLC with them giving us the last cannon species, except for the Smilodon. This combined with a potential JWE3, seems like a nail in the proverbial coffin.
@FlaskoDeLarko I would love a larger variety of aquatics! Especially something like Bascillosaurus, Ammonites, etc. It was also be nice to get the Smilodon with a bunch of Cenozoic animals. This doesn't include all the decorations I would love. It would be awesome if the game were to continue. I would love that.
@@DVMWannaB1018 It’d be cool if Livyatan was added since there might be whale feeders, (basically live whales in the water and megs and livys (future ones) just have to attack/ eat big chonky whales. Also, Megalodon and Livyatan were rivals, but mostly rarely fought. The thing is, I don’t know what the model will be if frontier actually listens to this reply.
Honesty, I do feel like this is the last one. Like you said in the video, all the animals in the latest DLC feels like more of a "Eh, if we don't give this to them now, they'll be less willing to buy a new game." If you want to be pessimistic.
I believe this may be the last DLC pack for JWE2. They kinda end it with a bang in the form of the creatures we all wanted and asked for. Plus the recently discovered extinct flyer in it. It may not be very big (besides the Megalodon and Thanatosdrakon), but at least it ends with what top 3 creatures we wanted or something. Unless there's a future Frontier Stream that'll talk about JWE2 in it and tell us on the real last DLC pack that will really end it with a big bang. That or a complete edition in it. So I think I'll take your word on this being the last DLC pack for JWE2. At least until there's annouced here.
While all the reasons in this video are definitely valid, considering Chaos Theory is coming out this Friday and has not only new species, but new skins AND variants of existing species, I wouldn’t be super surprised if we get a Chaos Theory dlc or update so that frontier can stay up to date until after the show premieres. However, if this truly is the end for Jurassic World Evolution 2, it’s been an amazing ride. I was here since day 1 and if they make Jurassic World Evolution 3, I’ll be there day 1 for that. Jurassic World Evolution 2 when it came out was a solid 3.5/5 for me. Definitely an improvement over the first game but still lacking in some departments. In its current state, I’d give JWE 2 4.5/5 thanks to the sheer amount of work Frontier put in since release. I hope for more, but if it’s the end, what a good way to end.
The last Dlc for Jwe 1 was a Map expansion and not just a species pack. In fact, it was arguably the biggest update Jwe 1 ever got. Don't you think a similar pattern isn't completely out of the question ?
nothing is "completely out of the question" but keep in mind that JWE2 hasn't stuck to the same pattern as JWE1 anyway. I wouldn't count on it mirroring the pattern of JWE1 now at the very end.
@@EvolutionSquare There are species like Ramphorhynchus and Dearc that would give us more "real Jurassic" Pterosaurs and Plateosaurus ( at least one single herbivore of the Triassic) would make the Specieslist much more complete. Lagoonplatform with the new Kelp would "screem" for Machimosaurus Rex ! We have still ..... NO BRIDGES ! NO Placeable Fountains that look like natural waterfalls ! No Riverride-boatattraction like " JP/JW the Ride ".....no really High Rocks like in the RTJP-DLC of JWE I. So there is a lot of content that would give people reasons to buy 1-2 DLC or one last expansion. I don´t no if this will be the end of JWE II , but i still hope there are a few things to come in 2024 for it.
Maybe, but I hope not cause I really wanted an expansion and don’t get me wrong, this was my favourite pack but everyone wanted wanted an expansion. It has been so long. I may not be in the streams this week because I am going to visit my grandparents. This video came and gives me something to think about as I am doing my end of years exams. Let us hope you are wrong but I don’t mind if it speeds up the process of getting JWE3 earlier and having a good launch. Great video as always and I will be in the Frontier livestream as well.
My hopes for JWE3 are: - Herbivores being more capable of defending themselves; - Taller Aviary domes; - Flying species being able to walk; - Better terrain tools; - Aquatic creatures being able to kill guests by destroying viewing stands; - Dinos not phasing trough each other like ghosts; - A fair skin preview in hatcheries; - More pattern and color options for skins; - Dinos from the same species sticking close to their herds instead of running away and feeling sad because they are lonely. - Being able to create natural lagoons - More decorations! ...And re-design the Deinonychus, for God's sake.
Hopefully, we get one last DLC to tie in with Chaos Theory, featuring Smilodon, Becklespinax and new variants for Suchomimus and Pachyrhinosaurus (and Majungasaurus???) 😀
There are still a few things to enjoy about Jurassic Camp/Chaos Theory before the DLCs end: The Smilodon, the Becklespinax, the new Pachyrhinosaurus, the Spinosaurus from Manta Corp, anyway, you can still get milk from this cow

I hate it if they would stop supporting this game, I have so many memories with it, and I am not excited for JWE3 because JWE2 has that charm of a fun and entertaining sandbox game that will never be boring, if JWE3 comes out, can you still do things with JWE2 because most of the Glitches will probably not work in JWE3, however I will buy JWE3 when it comes out, but it will probably never get as much playtime as JWE2 I literally wasted 450 hours on that game, but about the dlc news I think there would be a chance that a new DLC would come out because Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, which would include skins for the Suchominus and Pachyrhinosaurus And The Bleckespinax. But if it doesn’t. I would be sad. JWE2 will always have a special place in my heart
I hope we get another expansion. I don't think we do need more species, but rather more maps and biomes, buildings, foliage, etc. I would like to see them try the wet forests from China, the western canary islands, the peruvian/argentinian pampa, african “redlands”, etc. Another map with a NATURAL lagoon would be great, and I hope we get those on Evo 2 instead of 3
I feel like it really was a “farewell” dlc pack because all of the creatures in the dlc were ones that the fans craved for and never got in the past dlcs, if it wasn’t the final dlc it would probably be another generic dlc pack but it only packs a wide variety of creatures
As much as I'd be disappointed about this, I really can't be considering now we shouldn't have mods break upon updating. There's still a lot more Frontier should really have done for this game, much more in fact, but since we're getting JWE3 for sure now, we'll just have to see how they improve on and possible add in stuff that should've been in JWE1&2.
Imagine lake that is fresh water and you can change depth so we can make spino swim and hunt and attack dinos in it with sarcosuchus and deinosuchus can go from land into it to swim then come out to bask and then attack dinos from basking

This most likely was indeed the last dlc for the game and it makes sense, the name of the pack says it all, i hope frontier focus 100% now in JWE3 then. Although would not mind we get one more pack and update, afterall there still stuff missing. Anyways i will be waiting for news for a bit, but if there are none, i guess i can finally go and use mods.
The way the DLC is titled feels like the last one and I’m preparing myself for it. It’s probably better to bring in a whole bunch of Cenozoic animals into a third game then have one pack and then Evolution 2 is done with, like she said, it’d feel out of place. Although some thoughts have occurred to me. If Frontier is working on a third game this very moment, wouldn’t support for the current game had stopped a bit earlier than now? And there’s no way they would’ve announced it this early I think. Like when the console edition for Planet Zoo was announced, I thought they were done and there were still a couple animals I’d love to see but nope, they’re still supporting the PC with more packs on the way. And how that game came out in the same year as Planet Coaster was finished. Then again, we’ve been surprised before. If it’s the end, fine. If not, we’ll have to see.
For me is last DLC because Jurassic world evolution 3 is coming on 2026 so I think JWE 2 Decided that this is the last DLC but I am not sure about that! 😕.
To say one last thing, I believe it would make sense for a hypothetical JWE3 to make the following changes/additions over JWE2. *The bold print is tl;Dr version:* *1.) Allow for deeper bodies of freshwater to be placed in land exhibits -* This could enable things like our land creatures swimming, the addition of boat tours, the addition of free-swimming freshwater fish dispensers for piscivores, and the addition of semi-aquatic animals at last (like prehistoric amphibians, Deinosuchus, etc.). If otherwise fully terrestrial animals were to meet each other in deep freshwater and fight (such as a T. rex attacking a Triceratops or Spinosaurus underwater), the combat mechanics could be similar to when lagoon creatures hunt/fight each other. *2.) Increased interactivity between lagoons and non-lagoon creatures -* For example, some flying creatures could swoop down to snatch fish from the lagoon and even dive underwater. Lagoon predators could try to snatch flying creatures as they do so. Large terrestrial and lagoon creatures could also smash lagoon fences, allowing for the terrestrial creatures to wander into lagoons, semi-aquatic lagoon creatures like Nothosaurus to walk out onto land towards guests, and large lagoon predators to burst from the water to snatch nearby terrestrial creatures (like the Indominus Rex’s defeat). *3.) By the time the Chaos Theory show has finished, its content could easily make for logical JWE3 DLC -* Season 1’s sneak peaks are already giving us glimpses of new dinosaurs, a potential new Pachyrhinosaurus variant, etc. And should the Smilodon still not be featured in JWE2, nor become a base game creature in JWE3, then a Chaos Theory DLC would be the one other place to finally bring in Smilodon. *4.) Make the species viewer more readily accessible in-game -* Self-explanatory. *5.) Increase the cosmetic variations to now include some potential sexual dimorphism, slight variations in color shading within patterns, slight variations in sizes, etc. as BestInSlot suggested based on Prehistoric Kingdom -* I also have nothing else to explain here. *6.) An allowance for a greater variety of non-dinosaur, non-pterosaur, and non-marine-reptile creatures-* JWE2 has mined so many of the popular species from those three categories, while also setting a precedent for other categories like synapsids and Dunkleosteus/Megalodon. So I think JWE3 would be more fit to bring in additional creatures from those other categories. In addition to bringing in some more Mesozoic dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles, I could see JWE3 bringing in Cenozoic land mammals, Triassic pseudosuchians, Cenozoic dinosaurs (like terror birds, Pelagornis, and Argentavis), other Cenozoic reptiles (like Megalania and Barinasuchus), prehistoric whales, other Palaeozoic synapsids/reptiles, giant terrestrial/flying arthropods (like Meganeura and Arthropleura), aquatic invertebrates (like sea scorpions and the giant ammonite), and more kinds of prehistoric fishes (like Helicoprion). *7.) Make some additions which people were hoping would be added to JWE2 as free updates -* As I mostly mentioned before, I thought it would be nice to have a JPOG-style cow feeder, a JPOG-style balloon tour, large sauropod combat, unarmed hadrosaur-sized herbivores sometimes counterattacking medium carnivores (like my proposed large sauropod combat mechanics against large carnivores), herbivores with more appropriate combat stats, some of the herbivores getting their JWE1 kill animations back, a submarine/boat tour for lagoons, pterosaurs walking, and a lagoon feeder which releases freely swimming sharks. *8.) Possibly an in-game breeding system, as BestInSlot suggested in more detail, though that would be incredibly ambitious -* Exactly what it says on the tin.
It would be sad to have the support now end after the park managers pack, but I believe that frontier may not be fully done. There's still the Chaos theory show that's so close to releasing that it would be logical for Frontier to have the new species from the show like Beckelspinax as a free update. They did the same thing with the fallen kingdom dinos and the Nasutoceratops in the first Jurassic world evolution. It's probably not really going to happen, but I just thought that would be a more logical move by Frontier
Also, fun little tip I've wanted to share: Behind a row of amenities, place fossil walls, with a gap between for the classic bathroom! Place the bathroom side towards the amenities as a staff bathroom, and the palm trees side outward, as a wall decoration for the guests! Just a little tidbit :P
Personally, I hope that this is not the last dlc. This is one of those games that you can keep going forever and ever and keep adding content to it. Like, you do NOT need a sequel game for something like this. But that's just me personally.
I hope that Becklespinax, Protoceratops, Guanlong, Kosmoceratops, Microraptor, Irritator, and Saltasaurus appear in the game or in JWE3. I wonder if the JWE3 game may give us prehistoric Cenozoic mammals in it. Because the Megalodon is the only prehistoric Cenozoic animal to appear in JWE2. And Dimetrodon, Lystrosaurus, and Dunkleosteus are the only Paleozoic animals in it. There are now 111 Mesozoic animals and seven hybrid Dinosaurs. I'M ALSO EXCITED FOR Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. May it could come to JWE2 or JWE3 in the future.
I just want to say to Evo and everyone, if this is the end as it most likely is, I’ve enjoyed the ride over the last two and a half years. This community, this game and the exciting speculation and news of new content has really got me through some very difficult times and at times, it has been the only thing positive and exciting in my life and sometimes the only thing I’ve had look forward to. It has kept me going when I’ve been so close to giving up. This community is so unique in the gaming industry and it really feels like you’re part of something. I’ve really enjoyed interacting with people’s comments and thanks Evo for being one of the few RUclipsrs that replies to so many. Evo and Frontier themselves truly have helped create this sense of community feeling. I’ll look forward to doing it all again for JWE3 🦖💚

It would be cool if they added more things to do with the dinosaurs at some point, maybe like manually feed them or view them from an alternative tour guide attraction. If we are persistent and not too annoying, maybe they'll add more stuff in.
To be honest, if this is really the end, I'm totally okay with it. The pack was amazing, and I absolutely adored the kelp addition that made the lagoons even more fantastic. I've already spent money on JWE2 and all the DLC/expansion, so I don't really feel the urge to buy more. I just hope the new game will be absolutely fantastic, with no limitations from the older consoles. Even so, I'll still tune in to the channel and I'm looking forward to seeing you use mods and build even more awesome parks.
I remember you saying something about how in the file of jwe2 you can see all the the extra content being the dlc and expansions and you said that if we just check to see if they add a new file to be able to add the next dlc we can confirm if their isn’t or is a new dlc on the way Also I love your vids❤❤
This does feel like a final DLC to me. My one hope is that maybe we get one final Anniversary update in November. If we are to get anything more for the game, DLC or free, it will be then. I would personally love to get the Smilodon and maybe some skins (TLW Pteranodon and Mamenchisaurus, Stegosaurus Lux from the Live Tour and maybe the camouflaging Carnotaurus from the novel). I personally feel like Chaos Theory will be saved for JWE3. There will likely be a lot more new animals and variants to pull from past season 1, so it would make sense to hold off and wait, especially if it winds up getting 5 seasons like Camp Cretaceous. If I recall correctly CC had the first 3 seasons greenlit right from the start with the last 2 getting the go ahead after the success of the previous ones. A similar deal is probably in place for CT which would probably mean 2 seasons per year like before, with season 3 starting off 2025 and assuming it does well enough season 5 ending things in 2026, just in time for the launch of JWE3. We also have whatever the new movie is in 2025 which will hopefully give Frontier more creatures to pull from with the next game.
I think there is going to be another one which might be called park visitor pack which will include some last additional dinos and creatures we always wanted.
I think amilodon might appear in JWE3 as a base game dinosaur along with some other mammals. This would make smilodon not the “odd ones out” if it was added. Then, more mammals can be added throughout the 3rd game’s dlcs
I’ve said it in a previous comment but I’m very happy with the game , if it’s been a last DLC and a send off I couldn’t be happier about what the game has become, we have kelp and species the community has wanted for a while, I don’t own all dlcs but all species I would want are available
i think there will be jwe3 but a last pack for jwe2 and stuff fans requested like a party of dinosaurs it will be a massive event and we will be able to play as dinosaurs
Though it’s technically been a longer lifespan for this game, it feels like yesterday that this game was announced and i was getting excited about Amargasaurus. I know I’m not ready for a sequel now. Don’t know how I’ll feel a year from now.
if this is not the end of JWE2 this is a dlc I want Triassic creatures pack animals 1. Alwalkeria 2. Plateosaurus 3. Pilosaurus 4. pterosaurs Bug fixes 1. small carnivores clipping through fences. Nature stuff. 1. kelp brush. 2. all biome brushes on every map. 3. Overlay on buildings, fences, decorations and paths, so you can mix them together. Buildings. 1. River Rides 2. So I have a good question ok so when you go into the lagoon hatchery then in filters then it says "shark" can that Mean theres maybe coming a New type of prehistoric shark to the game bc what is the purpose of having the filter if theres only 1 shark🦈🧐

the kelp in game is not static, it moves slightly. The modded kelp does not "move with the current" because there is no current in our lagoons. The modder just added a bigger animation to it.
I appreciate the continued use of an un-modded game. As a console player, I don’t have much interest in seeing modded games. Evo does amazing things with just the game itself and I enjoy coming here to find park inspirations.
Yeah no it’s probably the second to last dlc probably since I generally believe that they would at least give us a campaign or something like that or something grand this dlc was good but it doesn’t feel like the end

I feel like they'll probably add a chaos theory pack that'll give us becklespinax and varients of pachyrhinosaurus and suchomimus as a last dlc. If not, then we'll see them in jwe3
I hope and find it likely there is one more dlc but if there is another than it is an expansion and the angle is to get in wanted species before adding a very themed content pack.
I unfortunately think it’s. The name of the dlc hints that it was a fan pick for animals. While an expansion would have been amazing, I for one really wanted some more scenery to round everything back out. I wanted more decor for the outside of our marine exhibits. Shark jaws, mosa fountain/ statue, maybe a patch that gave our pterosaurs the ability to walk? I’m for sure hyped for JWE3 and hoping a lot of the features/animals/decor we have now transfers over to that version, I’m very eager to see how the game… well evolves! The hope for Cenozoic species, the ability to use all terrain types in sandbox so we can make snow areas, desert sections, tropical, etc… like some zoos. There’s still a load of improvements that we need and I look forward to seeing those in JWE3
I think we may get the last dlc about Chaos Theory, or they including that Beckelspinax in some way the same way the added Tarbo in Predator Pack, but still i like all your speculative vids! ❤
I don’t think they’ll end it just yet. They still haven’t made the 93 Trike a body variant, something fans have been begging for and may be added in a final update for the true last dlc. They also might try to cap of the number of species, currently at 128, at a number like 135. I think they could do this in one big dlc pack. They could add Plateosaurus and Postosuchus from the Triassic, Amphicoelias and Torvosaurus from the Jurassic, Saurolophus and Argentinosaurus from the Cretaceous, and Smilodon for one more species, and call it “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.” That’s what I hope at least.

this better not be the last DLC because I’m not gonna lie this DLC kind of ended weak as hell. I’m happy for three out of four of the creatures that came to this new DLC but… segisaurus??? Why him of all other dinosaurs they could’ve picked? Literally I’m willing to buy the same DLC at full price without him… even if they added a velociraptor size creature I would be OK with that, but why the segi??? 2 possibilities we can have left at least 2 more DLC with rest of this year to collect some more budget, which mean more content they cannot skip for JWE 3 which mean more work for em, but it is still not clear at all.
It really feels like the last dlc cuz of the variety of dinos and fan favorite, I hope its not tho lol. I really wanted argentinosaurus to make in JwE2 with a herb pack before the end. We have a amazing roster so if it is the last I’m happy with what we got.
It’s the last one, the name of the last pack screams it and can’t make it anymore obvious. If there were more packs they would’ve split up Microceratus and Meg into themed packs that have more to do with them, but they put 2 completely different species in the same “favourites pack”. I also think this relates to Planet Zoo because they also are ending support soon probably, so I would expect a “zookeeper collection pack”.
I do think it's the last pack however a possible reason for them doing the basically fan favorite pack now and not later could be from the backlash the hybrids dlc seemed to get, the fan favourites pack would certainly be a good move to get back in peoples good books, just me wishful thinking and hoping there's a legacy pack left that includes more lost world and novel content haha

I think it’s much cleaner to end JWE2 before Chaos Theory - i.e. now - and then put all Chaos Theory content in “JWE3”.

I agree a JWE3 game would be great for stuff like planet coaster terrain modifications so we can make bioluminescent parasaurolophus caves with kayak River adventures, deeper water for rivers so Dinos can’t cross and much MUCH more. So we don’t need mods for stuff like that. Do you agree?

It feels like a final DLC with them giving us the last cannon species, except for the Smilodon. This combined with a potential JWE3, seems like a nail in the proverbial coffin.

@FlaskoDeLarko I would love a larger variety of aquatics! Especially something like Bascillosaurus, Ammonites, etc. It was also be nice to get the Smilodon with a bunch of Cenozoic animals. This doesn't include all the decorations I would love.

Also, Megalodon and Livyatan were rivals, but mostly rarely fought. The thing is, I don’t know what the model will be if frontier actually listens to this reply.

Honesty, I do feel like this is the last one. Like you said in the video, all the animals in the latest DLC feels like more of a "Eh, if we don't give this to them now, they'll be less willing to buy a new game." If you want to be pessimistic.
I believe this may be the last DLC pack for JWE2.
They kinda end it with a bang in the form of the creatures we all wanted and asked for. Plus the recently discovered extinct flyer in it. It may not be very big (besides the Megalodon and Thanatosdrakon), but at least it ends with what top 3 creatures we wanted or something.
Unless there's a future Frontier Stream that'll talk about JWE2 in it and tell us on the real last DLC pack that will really end it with a big bang. That or a complete edition in it.
So I think I'll take your word on this being the last DLC pack for JWE2. At least until there's annouced here.

While all the reasons in this video are definitely valid, considering Chaos Theory is coming out this Friday and has not only new species, but new skins AND variants of existing species, I wouldn’t be super surprised if we get a Chaos Theory dlc or update so that frontier can stay up to date until after the show premieres. However, if this truly is the end for Jurassic World Evolution 2, it’s been an amazing ride. I was here since day 1 and if they make Jurassic World Evolution 3, I’ll be there day 1 for that. Jurassic World Evolution 2 when it came out was a solid 3.5/5 for me. Definitely an improvement over the first game but still lacking in some departments. In its current state, I’d give JWE 2 4.5/5 thanks to the sheer amount of work Frontier put in since release. I hope for more, but if it’s the end, what a good way to end.
I really hope that jwe2 still gets some big thing to end the game instead of just ending it with a whimper like how jwe did.

The last Dlc for Jwe 1 was a Map expansion and not just a species pack. In fact, it was arguably the biggest update Jwe 1 ever got. Don't you think a similar pattern isn't completely out of the question ?
nothing is "completely out of the question" but keep in mind that JWE2 hasn't stuck to the same pattern as JWE1 anyway. I wouldn't count on it mirroring the pattern of JWE1 now at the very end.
@@EvolutionSquare There are species like Ramphorhynchus and Dearc that would give us more "real Jurassic" Pterosaurs and Plateosaurus ( at least one single herbivore of the Triassic) would make the Specieslist much more complete. Lagoonplatform with the new Kelp would "screem" for Machimosaurus Rex !
We have still ..... NO BRIDGES ! NO Placeable Fountains that look like natural waterfalls ! No Riverride-boatattraction like " JP/JW the Ride ".....no really High Rocks like in the RTJP-DLC of JWE I.
So there is a lot of content that would give people reasons to buy 1-2 DLC or one last expansion.

Maybe, but I hope not cause I really wanted an expansion and don’t get me wrong, this was my favourite pack but everyone wanted wanted an expansion. It has been so long. I may not be in the streams this week because I am going to visit my grandparents. This video came and gives me something to think about as I am doing my end of years exams. Let us hope you are wrong but I don’t mind if it speeds up the process of getting JWE3 earlier and having a good launch. Great video as always and I will be in the Frontier livestream as well.
My hopes for JWE3 are:
- Herbivores being more capable of defending themselves;
- Taller Aviary domes;
- Flying species being able to walk;
- Better terrain tools;
- Aquatic creatures being able to kill guests by destroying viewing stands;
- Dinos not phasing trough each other like ghosts;
- A fair skin preview in hatcheries;
- More pattern and color options for skins;
- Dinos from the same species sticking close to their herds instead of running away and feeling sad because they are lonely.
- Being able to create natural lagoons
- More decorations!
...And re-design the Deinonychus, for God's sake.

I hate it if they would stop supporting this game, I have so many memories with it, and I am not excited for JWE3 because JWE2 has that charm of a fun and entertaining sandbox game that will never be boring, if JWE3 comes out, can you still do things with JWE2 because most of the Glitches will probably not work in JWE3, however I will buy JWE3 when it comes out, but it will probably never get as much playtime as JWE2 I literally wasted 450 hours on that game, but about the dlc news I think there would be a chance that a new DLC would come out because Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, which would include skins for the Suchominus and Pachyrhinosaurus
And The Bleckespinax. But if it doesn’t. I would be sad. JWE2 will always have a special place in my heart

I don't think we do need more species, but rather more maps and biomes, buildings, foliage, etc. I would like to see them try the wet forests from China, the western canary islands, the peruvian/argentinian pampa, african “redlands”, etc. Another map with a NATURAL lagoon would be great, and I hope we get those on Evo 2 instead of 3

As much as I'd be disappointed about this, I really can't be considering now we shouldn't have mods break upon updating. There's still a lot more Frontier should really have done for this game, much more in fact, but since we're getting JWE3 for sure now, we'll just have to see how they improve on and possible add in stuff that should've been in JWE1&2.
Imagine lake that is fresh water and you can change depth so we can make spino swim and hunt and attack dinos in it with sarcosuchus and deinosuchus can go from land into it to swim then come out to bask and then attack dinos from basking

This most likely was indeed the last dlc for the game and it makes sense, the name of the pack says it all, i hope frontier focus 100% now in JWE3 then. Although would not mind we get one more pack and update, afterall there still stuff missing.
Anyways i will be waiting for news for a bit, but if there are none, i guess i can finally go and use mods.
The way the DLC is titled feels like the last one and I’m preparing myself for it. It’s probably better to bring in a whole bunch of Cenozoic animals into a third game then have one pack and then Evolution 2 is done with, like she said, it’d feel out of place.
Although some thoughts have occurred to me. If Frontier is working on a third game this very moment, wouldn’t support for the current game had stopped a bit earlier than now? And there’s no way they would’ve announced it this early I think. Like when the console edition for Planet Zoo was announced, I thought they were done and there were still a couple animals I’d love to see but nope, they’re still supporting the PC with more packs on the way. And how that game came out in the same year as Planet Coaster was finished.
Then again, we’ve been surprised before. If it’s the end, fine. If not, we’ll have to see.
For me is last DLC because Jurassic world evolution 3 is coming on 2026 so I think JWE 2 Decided that this is the last DLC but I am not sure about that! 😕.

To say one last thing, I believe it would make sense for a hypothetical JWE3 to make the following changes/additions over JWE2. *The bold print is tl;Dr version:*
*1.) Allow for deeper bodies of freshwater to be placed in land exhibits -* This could enable things like our land creatures swimming, the addition of boat tours, the addition of free-swimming freshwater fish dispensers for piscivores, and the addition of semi-aquatic animals at last (like prehistoric amphibians, Deinosuchus, etc.). If otherwise fully terrestrial animals were to meet each other in deep freshwater and fight (such as a T. rex attacking a Triceratops or Spinosaurus underwater), the combat mechanics could be similar to when lagoon creatures hunt/fight each other.
*2.) Increased interactivity between lagoons and non-lagoon creatures -* For example, some flying creatures could swoop down to snatch fish from the lagoon and even dive underwater. Lagoon predators could try to snatch flying creatures as they do so. Large terrestrial and lagoon creatures could also smash lagoon fences, allowing for the terrestrial creatures to wander into lagoons, semi-aquatic lagoon creatures like Nothosaurus to walk out onto land towards guests, and large lagoon predators to burst from the water to snatch nearby terrestrial creatures (like the Indominus Rex’s defeat).
*3.) By the time the Chaos Theory show has finished, its content could easily make for logical JWE3 DLC -* Season 1’s sneak peaks are already giving us glimpses of new dinosaurs, a potential new Pachyrhinosaurus variant, etc. And should the Smilodon still not be featured in JWE2, nor become a base game creature in JWE3, then a Chaos Theory DLC would be the one other place to finally bring in Smilodon.
*4.) Make the species viewer more readily accessible in-game -* Self-explanatory.
*5.) Increase the cosmetic variations to now include some potential sexual dimorphism, slight variations in color shading within patterns, slight variations in sizes, etc. as BestInSlot suggested based on Prehistoric Kingdom -* I also have nothing else to explain here.
*6.) An allowance for a greater variety of non-dinosaur, non-pterosaur, and non-marine-reptile creatures-* JWE2 has mined so many of the popular species from those three categories, while also setting a precedent for other categories like synapsids and Dunkleosteus/Megalodon. So I think JWE3 would be more fit to bring in additional creatures from those other categories. In addition to bringing in some more Mesozoic dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles, I could see JWE3 bringing in Cenozoic land mammals, Triassic pseudosuchians, Cenozoic dinosaurs (like terror birds, Pelagornis, and Argentavis), other Cenozoic reptiles (like Megalania and Barinasuchus), prehistoric whales, other Palaeozoic synapsids/reptiles, giant terrestrial/flying arthropods (like Meganeura and Arthropleura), aquatic invertebrates (like sea scorpions and the giant ammonite), and more kinds of prehistoric fishes (like Helicoprion).
*7.) Make some additions which people were hoping would be added to JWE2 as free updates -* As I mostly mentioned before, I thought it would be nice to have a JPOG-style cow feeder, a JPOG-style balloon tour, large sauropod combat, unarmed hadrosaur-sized herbivores sometimes counterattacking medium carnivores (like my proposed large sauropod combat mechanics against large carnivores), herbivores with more appropriate combat stats, some of the herbivores getting their JWE1 kill animations back, a submarine/boat tour for lagoons, pterosaurs walking, and a lagoon feeder which releases freely swimming sharks.
*8.) Possibly an in-game breeding system, as BestInSlot suggested in more detail, though that would be incredibly ambitious -* Exactly what it says on the tin.
It would be sad to have the support now end after the park managers pack, but I believe that frontier may not be fully done. There's still the Chaos theory show that's so close to releasing that it would be logical for Frontier to have the new species from the show like Beckelspinax as a free update. They did the same thing with the fallen kingdom dinos and the Nasutoceratops in the first Jurassic world evolution. It's probably not really going to happen, but I just thought that would be a more logical move by Frontier
Also, fun little tip I've wanted to share: Behind a row of amenities, place fossil walls, with a gap between for the classic bathroom! Place the bathroom side towards the amenities as a staff bathroom, and the palm trees side outward, as a wall decoration for the guests! Just a little tidbit :P
To note aswell they've been in full development of a game as of 8 months ago due for FY2025 they said, so I'd bet it's likely a year off for JWE3

Personally, I hope that this is not the last dlc. This is one of those games that you can keep going forever and ever and keep adding content to it. Like, you do NOT need a sequel game for something like this. But that's just me personally.

I hope that Becklespinax, Protoceratops, Guanlong, Kosmoceratops, Microraptor, Irritator, and Saltasaurus appear in the game or in JWE3. I wonder if the JWE3 game may give us prehistoric Cenozoic mammals in it. Because the Megalodon is the only prehistoric Cenozoic animal to appear in JWE2. And Dimetrodon, Lystrosaurus, and Dunkleosteus are the only Paleozoic animals in it. There are now 111 Mesozoic animals and seven hybrid Dinosaurs. I'M ALSO EXCITED FOR Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. May it could come to JWE2 or JWE3 in the future.

I just want to say to Evo and everyone, if this is the end as it most likely is, I’ve enjoyed the ride over the last two and a half years.
This community, this game and the exciting speculation and news of new content has really got me through some very difficult times and at times, it has been the only thing positive and exciting in my life and sometimes the only thing I’ve had look forward to.
It has kept me going when I’ve been so close to giving up.
This community is so unique in the gaming industry and it really feels like you’re part of something.
I’ve really enjoyed interacting with people’s comments and thanks Evo for being one of the few RUclipsrs that replies to so many.
Evo and Frontier themselves truly have helped create this sense of community feeling.

It would be cool if they added more things to do with the dinosaurs at some point, maybe like manually feed them or view them from an alternative tour guide attraction. If we are persistent and not too annoying, maybe they'll add more stuff in.

To be honest, if this is really the end, I'm totally okay with it. The pack was amazing, and I absolutely adored the kelp addition that made the lagoons even more fantastic. I've already spent money on JWE2 and all the DLC/expansion, so I don't really feel the urge to buy more. I just hope the new game will be absolutely fantastic, with no limitations from the older consoles.
Even so, I'll still tune in to the channel and I'm looking forward to seeing you use mods and build even more awesome parks.

I just hope frontier adds prehistoric crocodilians before the game ends, Great vid once again evo.
This does feel like a final DLC to me. My one hope is that maybe we get one final Anniversary update in November. If we are to get anything more for the game, DLC or free, it will be then. I would personally love to get the Smilodon and maybe some skins (TLW Pteranodon and Mamenchisaurus, Stegosaurus Lux from the Live Tour and maybe the camouflaging Carnotaurus from the novel). I personally feel like Chaos Theory will be saved for JWE3. There will likely be a lot more new animals and variants to pull from past season 1, so it would make sense to hold off and wait, especially if it winds up getting 5 seasons like Camp Cretaceous. If I recall correctly CC had the first 3 seasons greenlit right from the start with the last 2 getting the go ahead after the success of the previous ones. A similar deal is probably in place for CT which would probably mean 2 seasons per year like before, with season 3 starting off 2025 and assuming it does well enough season 5 ending things in 2026, just in time for the launch of JWE3. We also have whatever the new movie is in 2025 which will hopefully give Frontier more creatures to pull from with the next game.
I think there is going to be another one which might be called park visitor pack which will include some last additional dinos and creatures we always wanted.
I think amilodon might appear in JWE3 as a base game dinosaur along with some other mammals. This would make smilodon not the “odd ones out” if it was added. Then, more mammals can be added throughout the 3rd game’s dlcs

I’ve said it in a previous comment but I’m very happy with the game , if it’s been a last DLC and a send off I couldn’t be happier about what the game has become, we have kelp and species the community has wanted for a while, I don’t own all dlcs but all species I would want are available
i think there will be jwe3 but a last pack for jwe2 and stuff fans requested like a party of dinosaurs it will be a massive event and we will be able to play as dinosaurs
Though it’s technically been a longer lifespan for this game, it feels like yesterday that this game was announced and i was getting excited about Amargasaurus. I know I’m not ready for a sequel now. Don’t know how I’ll feel a year from now.

the kelp in game is not static, it moves slightly.
The modded kelp does not "move with the current" because there is no current in our lagoons. The modder just added a bigger animation to it.
I appreciate the continued use of an un-modded game. As a console player, I don’t have much interest in seeing modded games. Evo does amazing things with just the game itself and I enjoy coming here to find park inspirations.
Yeah no it’s probably the second to last dlc probably since I generally believe that they would at least give us a campaign or something like that or something grand this dlc was good but it doesn’t feel like the end

I unfortunately think it’s. The name of the dlc hints that it was a fan pick for animals. While an expansion would have been amazing, I for one really wanted some more scenery to round everything back out. I wanted more decor for the outside of our marine exhibits. Shark jaws, mosa fountain/ statue, maybe a patch that gave our pterosaurs the ability to walk? I’m for sure hyped for JWE3 and hoping a lot of the features/animals/decor we have now transfers over to that version, I’m very eager to see how the game… well evolves! The hope for Cenozoic species, the ability to use all terrain types in sandbox so we can make snow areas, desert sections, tropical, etc… like some zoos. There’s still a load of improvements that we need and I look forward to seeing those in JWE3

I don’t think they’ll end it just yet. They still haven’t made the 93 Trike a body variant, something fans have been begging for and may be added in a final update for the true last dlc. They also might try to cap of the number of species, currently at 128, at a number like 135. I think they could do this in one big dlc pack. They could add Plateosaurus and Postosuchus from the Triassic, Amphicoelias and Torvosaurus from the Jurassic, Saurolophus and Argentinosaurus from the Cretaceous, and Smilodon for one more species, and call it “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.” That’s what I hope at least.
I hope they release 3 more DLCs, one about JW Chaos Theory, one about herbivorous species, and another about flying reptiles.

I am not particularly interested in new dinosaur mods. We have enough species already. It'll be free build and decorations

this better not be the last DLC because I’m not gonna lie this DLC kind of ended weak as hell. I’m happy for three out of four of the creatures that came to this new DLC but… segisaurus??? Why him of all other dinosaurs they could’ve picked? Literally I’m willing to buy the same DLC at full price without him… even if they added a velociraptor size creature I would be OK with that, but why the segi???

Hi evo I have been trying to comment and say hi for so long but I wasn’t logged in I have been watching since the beginning of jwe2 anyway I love the dlcs and it would be so sad for this to be the last one
2 possibilities we can have left at least 2 more DLC with rest of this year to collect some more budget, which mean more content they cannot skip for JWE 3 which mean more work for em, but it is still not clear at all.
It really feels like the last dlc cuz of the variety of dinos and fan favorite, I hope its not tho lol. I really wanted argentinosaurus to make in JwE2 with a herb pack before the end. We have a amazing roster so if it is the last I’m happy with what we got.
It’s the last one, the name of the last pack screams it and can’t make it anymore obvious. If there were more packs they would’ve split up Microceratus and Meg into themed packs that have more to do with them, but they put 2 completely different species in the same “favourites pack”.
I also think this relates to Planet Zoo because they also are ending support soon probably, so I would expect a “zookeeper collection pack”.
I will not rest until I see the tale tale tylosaurs it looks so good
I think there will be a dlc for aviary which will be the last. Microraptor is a cut animal. Also there was no Hatzegopteryx in the new pack.

I do think it's the last pack however a possible reason for them doing the basically fan favorite pack now and not later could be from the backlash the hybrids dlc seemed to get, the fan favourites pack would certainly be a good move to get back in peoples good books, just me wishful thinking and hoping there's a legacy pack left that includes more lost world and novel content haha
I hope that the last thing Frontier does for this game is an Aviary Expansion that updates the pterosaurs like the did for the lagoon creatures.
I hope there will be Emperorsuchus or Deinosuchus in the new DLC but The lagoon area and the fence should be able to be built together.
