1. A water depth brush so we can have dinosaur swimming animations and semi-aquatic animals in the game, like Hesperornis, Deinosuchus, Sarcosuchus or Koolasuchus. 2. Walking and social animations for pterosaurs.
I’m personally hoping for more intractability between Pterosaurs, Marine Reptiles and Dinosaurs. I want Dinosaurs to be able to break into Aviaries and Mosasaurs able to break parts of the Lagoons to swipe and snatch humans and dinosaurs when broken. I want Quetzalcoatlus Vs Tyrannosaurus Rex. I want them to interact more than Quetzalcoatlus able to steal Dryosaurus off the ground
Natural Lagoons. Multiple water levels. A Water fill tool. Waterfalls. Mod Support for PC. I'm sure I'll think of more but those jumped out to me as stuff I want a lot.
They could even add the natural lagoons as part of the new water feature, where you could rather place down a concrete lagoon or you could just make a deep section of water for the animals to swim in
I love the idea of island generation! I always felt underwhelmed by the map choices in jwe2. In general, the five deaths in jwe felt so special and exciting lore wise. With so many random maps in jwe2 the each felt less special.
Waterfalls, tunnels, better terrain tools, able to paint paths/roads that don't interfere with placing gates and weird overlap glitches. Dinosaurs swimming, more natural environment, water levels, aquatics that can have land habitats as well. More options for tours, less tours out at once. Able to create timed stops like sit in front of rex paddock for 30 seconds or two minutes. Able to cross tour tracks. Bridges. Able to drive through shallow water. New disasters like flooding or mud slides. More guest features like making swimming pools and beaches for guests to use. More interactive buildings, Able to go inside buildings in 1st person, mini games inside. Rides like coasters. Boat rides. Petting zoos. Breeding and a few baby dino species. Sauropods fighting. Dino AI being more challenging. Random fence tests from raptors and rex etc. Dinosaurs Able to enter buildings to get people even if it's just raptors opening doors. 1st person entering visitor centers and command facilities. Custom workers, Able to change appearance or rangers and tour Drivers. Unlocking movie characters for those roles like Muldoon, Grant, Ellie, etc. Dinosaurs Able to eat rangers and pull them out of jeeps. Rangers forced out on foot if the jeep gets totaled.
Site B Mode wherein you manage the dinosaur population (goal is to prevent their extinction in the Site B location), the ability to drop down dinosaurs independently of a hatchery(the way Zoo Tycoon 2 was in sandbox), and a way to "command" dinosaurs to go to certain locations or to make them do things such as fight each other, eat or drink. Not necessarily controlling them, just fixing the issue where they don't do these things automatically.
If modular building does get added, I do hope it is something toggleable. As much as I'd love to have a fully custom, modular park, I do like the simplicity of everything being premade too.
thats exactly how planet coaster 1 and 2 have it. Your able to build your own but there are also premade buildings made from the same modular building so you can edit them aswell as just place them down
I think if they were to add baby dinosaurs they should add petting zoos too. In jurassic world a majority of the dinosaurs in the petting zoo were baby dinosaurs so it would make sense
“Breeding would be a huge job for Frontier” Yes, but they can reuse the models already made in JWE2, (the dinosaur models would be the same as in the previous game and not all species have specific variants) with this in mind, they can perfectly implement babies and breeding in the third game, in fact, this feature is the change I want most in JWE3
@@EvolutionSquare How the dino growth works that will make the difference, as it involves heavy programming. The models themselves are the less difficult, they can make edits to existing models too, that would help a lot. Is it simple? Certainly not, is it possible? Definitely, see what was done in Planet Zoo
@@EvolutionSquare Yea, it will be quite hard to do. Sizing down the adults would still look wierd so they'd need to make some changes for the models to look right. They could do that by exaggerating the features of adult models like making the eyes bigger, the body more chubby and hiding spikes if the adult version has them. I've been watching game dev livestreams lately and the devs did just that, didnt size down the model in blender just change how it looks ( they can be sized down with code in-game ) It wouldnt be as hard as making new models and it would allow them to switch between the baby and adult models slowly, imitating actual growth. I hope they add breeding tho, would be so cute to see a rex and its family walk around
yeah i'm hoping the same. the models from jwe 2 are fine to re-use. baby's and behaviour updates then their dinosaurs are perfect imo. if they're able to let the herbivores defend baby's in heards etc it would be a dream come true. for the growth i think they could play with the size of horns, claws, beaks etc. in the proces. maybe also the skincolor slightly changing from light to darker or something during growth.
Hybrid enclosures (i.e. attaching/incorporating Lagoons and Aviaries into regular enclosures, allowing land animals into Aviaries, etc.), semi-aquatic creatures (suchians), more Paleozooic life, some Cenozoic pre-Holocene life, baby dinosaurs
I think we can expect some great things from "Evolution 3." It really feels like Frontier has convinced their Chairs that these games sell well, they sell DLC well, they have dedicated fans and fans that trust them to improve and slowly build up the game. My hope atm is that Frontier understands the roster can't really back slide at all. Removing a lot of species, or gods forbid, trying to sell them back to us. Will not go over well at all. At most they can trim a few redundant species off maybe. I know that sounds harsh. But I'm pretty sure we all know it's true. If I'm mistaken, or you think that's too much to expect. Please let me know.
Realistically a Quetzalcoatlus wouldn't even be much of a threat to most animals around its weight class. They are spindly and would get folded by most carnivores. Of course this isn't the Real Quetzalcoatlus but jurassic world Evolutions monstess Quetzalcoatlus that can grab a hold and trow down a multi ton hadrosaur as if it was T rex.
@@ZarkAnimates OK maby they could introduce a stress mechanic were if animal is stressed enough it will stop eating and move to a nother area. So maby they could pull a prehistoric planet and have large pterosaurs be able to harass other animals off thiere kills.
The one thing that I want from jwe3 is a campaign like jwe1. Evo, I know you are a sandbox player and might not understand, but the unique challenge of each island of death was something special. And my personal opinion, jwe2’s entire campaign was more like a tutorial instead of an actual game mode. And yes sure we had chaos theory, but it didn’t feel like your own park. Idk
Totally agreed: taking your unlocked research and dinosaurs with you to the next park, and being able to jump back to the other islands, was awesome. It gave more of a sense of really progressing and unlocking over a broader coarse of parks, with increased difficulties
I could see the petting zoo and river ride working hand and hand with the semi aquatic creatures and baby dinos. I could see them breeding baby dinos and putting them in the petting zoo, and the river ride working like a jeep tour that can only be placed in regular or deep water.
They could do customizable buildings instead of modular, like they did with the shops, but make all buildings (or most) have several different customization options, adding an illusion of variety to the buildings
My wishlist would be- -MORE attractions, buildings, scenery…I always felt like that was the key thing missing from evo 2 -Breeding and baby dinosaurs! You could even have a chaos theory-like issue where you have to use gene mutations to stop breeding. And then this would also allow a Isla Sorna like reserve option - WHOLE islands, or-LARGER maps. I also want more Tropical maps, yes the expansion to more biomes was cool, but I love trying to make a super accurate Nublar or just the Dinos in the tropics vibe…it would be nice to have more tropical maps than just 93’ and 2015
Since the JWE2s biggest Problem in the end wasn't the animals or their Variety, but lacking Buildings, Attractions and Terraintools, including decorative fencing .. i also do cross out Cenozoiks, Babies or Hybrids.
Running water, waterfalls, allowing water depth, better terrain tools in general. If you're going to have baby dinos, you need to have walking animations for pterosaurs
A second thing I want is the deeper waters like you suggested but with the fact that all dinosaurs can swim through them or under the water but the only thing is if there properly addapter to do it. Like they all have a time limit before they need air and then the start drowning but the semi aquatics have 10-15 minutes of time to stay under when the non aquatics have 5 at the very most. Something like a spinosaurus vs a T. Rex underwater
I really hope they add more unique maps, Maybe like Australia China France Netherlands Hawaii Other 5 deaths islands Japan India Chile Brazil Argentina
I think a customable monorail height would be amazing because it feels a bit too high and ground monorail stations would be cool as well as monorail tunnels and the park gates.
I haven’t seen anyone mention this recently, but I really want underwater foliage brushes! It’s very boring to place kelps individually in big lagoons or any decoration in general! Also swamp or shallow waters, or a waterfall making feature! It gives habitats a lot of personality!
i would just add the idea of more interaction with guest, because as of now they just come in, give us money and leave/die, (lol). nonetheless, very exited to hear about the new evolution game. thanks for the video!
My top 3 most wanted things in the next game 1. Baby dinos 2. Cenozoic species 3. A workshop like in planet zoo where you can download enclosures or buildings or maybe full on parks
I think, that Cenozoic (And, maybe, also animals from the other periods) and semi-aquatics are really, REALLY good suggestions for "stand-out features". And the most reasonable too. But, I also would really, REALLY want some kind of enrichment and other enclosure structures in the new game. Such as, maybe, the climbing structures for cats and clumbing dinos, rubbing pillars, fountains, maybe even kind of "jacuzzi" or opposite water flows for marine animals, and some other kinds of toys and treats for the animals.
Currently back in my Jurassic Park/World craze and I found your channel over that. I think your analysis is very much spot on! Personally, I think the features are well-rounded in JWE2 apart from the things you've mentioned, but one thing I'd really like to see overhauled is the territorial behaviour of the dinos. It was a neat idea in JWE2, but one thing that really ruins the Sorna challenge for me is the fact that you can't really have incompatible dinos (like Stegos and Trikes) in the Safari park at all since they somehow always wander off even if you put them on opposite ends of the map. Would be nice for those territories to act more like natural "borders" like they would in the real world. I'm also hoping for the campaign mode to be more like that of JWE1 or the... campaign with several islands that got added later in a DLC in JWE2 (was it Malta?)... from the get-go. Maybe also more randomized start species in challenge mode so it's not always "spam Struthis until you have enough money for 3 Nasuceratops" (except for North America), but that's just a nitpick.
Another feature that could potentially be added would be custom skins and patterns, meaning we don't have to use preset colours anymore, you can choose the base colour of a Dinosaur and then create a pattern of your choosing and colour that a certain way, with maybe multiple different layers and patterns too.
Thanks for the overview🎉! I'm also curious to see what a third part will score with. I hope for the following improvements: 1. More individual building options for shops, galleries, entrances etc. similar to Planco and Planet Zoo. Not 1:1 as detailed, of course, I think there are also many fans who only want to place finished buildings and everything else is too complex and complicated. Should be a good mix. 2. Many more paths and textures to choose from, bridges!! 3. More decorative objects, trees, stones, lamps, usable benches, ash bins etc. 4. Visitors should also be able to observe the dinosaurs from the paths 5. Attractions and rides/boat rides/underwater tunnels 6. More different buildings as "blueprints" then, not just two hotels 7. deactivatable collision and hitboxes 8. Baby dinosaurs, YEEEEEEESSSSS❤! I'm generally happy with the graphics, the dinosaurs look great and the film music to go with it. I also hope that the long-awaited dinosaurs for part 2 will be included in the base game this time (Megalodon etc.). Planet Zoo 2 is probably already being worked on for 2026 I think, with birds and fish as game changers. Then all three games would be launched with new features🥳😍
4:09 I would also say hadrosaurs fighting back, making the herbivores stronger In general, and fixing pack hunting because a single velociraptor should not be able to bring a t-rex from 100% health straight to 0%.
Fr, and make it so rexes, gigas sarcos etc can help each other hunt herbs that can put up a fight (trikes stegos sauropods) And make sauropods be able to tail whip and trample
All I need from jwe 3 is 1) custom islands 2)Cenozoic and more animals that lived before the dinosaurs like meganura 3)Of course I want baby dinosaurs with the petting zoo to have.
Awesome video!!! Also I got my Wishlist of the Species The game can start with + add baby Varients for those first :) I'll share it to you on Discord :)
I’d love to see something like park staff doing small demonstrations with some dinosaurs, I mean something like in the amphitheater a staff member will stand somewhere and talk about the dinosaur rather than just the voice over the speakers that’s the same as on the tour. I know it might be a decent amount of work but I feel like it would add a lot of life to the parks and make them feel more like zoos
On My Wanted List. I Want The Return Of The Square Maps And The Five Deaths, Breeding, Natural Lagoons, Semi Aquatics, Modular Building, Freebuild, Site B Mode, And Many More Featured
They should add decorative trees like what’s already in the game but they have really big branches and leaves that go out really far so you can make ground areas completely enclosed with like tiny bits of sun getting it through the leaves because they cover up the sky probably could’ve made this more simple but idk
You should be able to build a 2 person park it could work so well you could put in a code and it wouldn’t be two different from the regular just all resources are owned by 2 people wouldn’t be to diffrent wouldn’t take much effort but playing with another person could improve the game quite alot
What I came through today on reddit - spitting and merging sections for monorails, tours and gyrospheres. It could allow to create nice branching nets of transport with no needs to build it into one long string. Also Joining the monorail with the "monorail merge point" on border of isla Nublar 2015 map would be great.
I couldn’t agree more with your list!!! However, i do think that River cruise and petting zoo style attractions should still be in the games, as they are literally in the films… shocked they haven’t already been in games
Time for a novel. I really don’t want Cenozoic animals in JW:E3, it would take the focus off of the dinosaurs and I don’t want that to happen. I think that breeding and amphibious behavior will be the two main new features, both are highly requested by the players and both already have precedent in the Jurassic franchise. For the amphibious animals, I do like the idea of connecting lagoons to normal enclosures, but I’d also appreciate a deep water option for more swamp/wetland habitats instead of the very ocean like lagoons as the only option. As for breeding/babies, the animals would need genders, which as a management mechanic would be “controlled” by the player, but as we all know “Life, uh… finds a way.” I think from a challenge mode standpoint, it would be interesting for certain research options to be dedicated to population control of your animals. At first you’d have no control, upgrade 1 would let you chose to make male, female, or mixed batches of eggs but the animals can still switch randomly after they hatch and grow, then upgrade 2 greatly reduces spontaneous sex changes, and a possible final upgrade that stops them entirely. A proper gender dimorphism mechanic would be amazing and also has precedent in the franchise, but we can manufacture that ourselves via skins/patterns and I don’t think it’s entirely necessary, but would be appreciated! As for the actual breeding system, if you have a male and female of the same species that are in the same enclosure, there will be a chance for a nest to appear. First the nest just has eggs and the females will tend to them, then an animation of the eggs hatching will occur and babies of the corresponding species will emerge, featuring a mix of the skins and patterns that the parents have. Onto the babies, I think there should be growth stages for the animals, and the bigger the animal, the more stages it gets. Each stage would be a slightly different model to the adult and would get slightly larger every minute or so. Tiny creatures (Compy, Microceratus, etc.) would only have two stages: hatchling and adult. Small creatures (Packy, Raptors, etc.) would have three: hatchling, juvenile and adult. Everything else would have four stages: hatchling, juvenile, subadult and adult. Lastly, I really hope they lean into the caring nature of the animals, animations of the Rex gently interacting with its babies, giving them food, playing with them, stuff like that. I don’t want to get my hopes or anyone else’s too high, but these are some ideas that would absolutely blow me away if we actually got them.
Baby and semi aquatics do sounds pretty damn cool but I'm also wondering somewhat if they're going to implement more feathered species/feathered options for existing species. We have a couple of those already of course but most of those are DLCs I thiiiink? Not sure if theries are or aren't in a DLC 🤔
Can't imagine Universal approving Cenozoics somehow - strays a bit too far away from the films. I hope it is modular building, and then just have lots of pre-fab options for those who don't want to use the modular system. I also think there's a lot more they can do with the guests, give them more personality and variety, deeper systems involving them.
Considering Cenozoics are in Jurassic World The Game and the smilodon was in Camp Cretaceous.... it doesn't seem like Universal takes issue with adding them to the extended franchise
im hoping its either babies, enrichment or just added complexity to how your animals behave. An overhaul to animal behaviour in general (breeding and enrichment would fall under this), is my biggest personal want for the next game, more than new species or new attractions, buildings etc. Id love for the animals just to act more like animals. Would love site B tho, if it had custom islands.
it would be a great idea to add babies dinosaurs because in sandbox if you dont want them you can change in the sandbox settings and that would satisfy everyone
Bigger skins selection for the dinosaurs. And skins for the Triceratops 1993 version and the Brachiosaurus 1993 version. And what they still forget is the Parasaurolophus 1993 version like it's exist but everyone does not remember them.....😢 And Peloroplites also Teratophoneus they are cannon we only see them a little dried out in the film but it would just be cool if they added it just for the cannon. Im also really happy for you that you have 250 thousand subs! So proud of you!
I know this is controversial, but personally i don’t really care whether or not cenozoics get added. I personally am not a fan of those, but we all have our opinions. Same goes for modular building because i think it’s too hard for a simple man like me. Idk tho, guess we’ll wait and see!
There is one thing I would like them to implement a lot. It's not really a mechanic: it's a set of mechanics. We all generalize dinosaurs as: Giant and powerful lizards. Did you see the part about the powerful? Well, I didn't see it in Jurassic World Evolution 1 and 2. I liked that part of the danger. Let's imagine that we are running a park with little security because we are saving money to get a large predator. In Jurassic World Evolution 2, you see: "Oh, the dinosaur escaped, let's capture it and get it back to safety." And normally in this process everything goes well. We lost points in safety but after a while everything goes back to normal. But I would love it if they made a real danger when we are looking to rescue a dinosaur. As if we had to control an expedition to find and sedate him, for this idea to work they had to add a mechanic of a kind of perimeter in which we couldn't track the creatures. They would also have to add a way for the dinosaurs to counter attacks. Two ways: 1) They make the helicopter weaker. 2) They leave the way of sedating with a new construction, without a helicopter. In short: What I want most in JW3 is more dangers in the way of controlling the dinosaurs. But to be honest, I doubt it. I and lovers of this idea have to remember that, although fights, escapes and adventures are some of the most interesting parts of the game, its focus is to create a theme park with prehistoric creatures. Will anyone ever (other than me read this in full xd)?
i really hope they update the spinosaurus model because we genuinely just need an absolute badass movie style spinosaurus with movie sounds, things that the last two games lacked in a way
I think this is a big stretch but I would love to see a mechanic where if you have 100% of the genome of a dino, you could change the model to a paleo accurate one with different animations and sizes.
I hope it’s baby dinos and attractions. Also an innovation that I feel like almost has to be in this new one that I didn’t hear you mention is the species viewer previews available in the hatchery. It was so baffling that this never came to JWE2 that I’d be stunned to not see it show up this time. Like, we want a full skin preview, they have full skin previews in game, yet we can’t access the full preview when we’re picking the skins for the dinos we’re about to make. Why???
I think one of the features are actual eggs and baby dinosaurs that hatch no one has found an ACTUAL BABY DINOSAUR and the second feature is making your OWN HYBRID DINOSAUR AND WHEN YOU MAKE IT IT WILL SAVE TO YOUR DINOSAUR GALLERY
I really just wanted them to allow more editing like making waterfalls, or not having collision for some stuff, like having full control of decoration placement (choose biome for plant placement), and for them to make a full release instead of 30 separate DLCs like JWE2, also deinosuchus and other prehistoric animals instead of only dinosaurs would be nice, like a prehistoric planet zoo you know
We want paleo accurate dino skin for every single dinosaur that existed. By skin I mean it should also change its size, not only skin color and texture.
Baby dinos would bring a interesting mechanic to the game, especially in story mode. The Life Finds a Way quest starts with you opening your park to rescued dinos. Everything is going fine. One of the dinos is pregnant and you don't realize it, till you just see a pop up in the corner saying Stego-13 has made a nest (or something of the same nature). the quest continues with you, the scientists, and the INGEN personnel trying to figure out what to do. There could also be a mechanic to where if a nest is made and it has eggs in it, dinos that are considered egg snatchers could have a chance to steel the eggs from the nest so you have to isolate the mom and nest. The features that I do want most are Baby Dinos/ Breeding, semi aquatic dinos (this would be combined with more terrane customization along with a water fill tool to make larger and deeper ponds and possible waterfalls), Cenozoic species, and modular buildings (this would be combined with custom aviaries and lagoons). One that I would like to see but not over the ones stated above are custom islands to give myself more or less building constraints to build on as the pre-generated maps are sometimes to cluttered for me to build on comfortably.
im thinking and have always wanted a caving tool. ive always tried to glitch it to allow roof but i think that many other people could also want it too!
Biggest thing I want is just smarter, more realistic guests who don’t stop to take selfies with a brick wall in the background and point in awe at trees lol
For innovations/updates, I think it will be better tools(including adjusting water depth), probably more modifiable buildings/maybe a little more modular building capabilities(I don't think they'll go full Planet Zoo with modular building), pathing tools, to maybe include paths connecting/being able to pass through gates, lagoons. Hopefully with lagoons, natural lagoons and/or land or riverr transition area. Also add new attractions including the river cruise. Maybe upgrade to the skin system(including indications of sexual dimorphism.... important for one of the new features I'd like yo see) 2 new features: 1: Breeding/baby dinos(sexual dimorphism would probably be helpful in making this happen) 2: This may fall into the Site B idea, but what I had hoped they had done even with JWE 2, making the park not a park. Be able to adjust the entrance between Park(typical requirements for guests, would alter dinosaur/prehistoric creatures behaviors to make them more comfortable in smaller exhibits, make money how you do in game); Research Facility (alter "guest" requirements safety, maybe somewhere to eat/restrooms but not directly affecting income. Income would be a stipend based on expeditions, or types of dinosaur species or exoticness/modifications and dino behavior modifications again making them more comfortable in smaller exhibits, probably limited on different buildings also would get cheaper research or increased money from completing certain research); Nature Preserve: (would be akin to a Site B.... would be limited on what buildings you're allowed to build, money would be a stipend based on number of different species, breeding/species population). Certain game modes(and possibly even campaign) you would be able change between the different settings. If they did a Chaos Theory or campaign say for creaton of Jurassic Park, Isla Sorna would be set to a research facility and Isla Nublar would be set as a Park. A possible 4th setting could be a dinosaur exchange/fight club, related to Dominion, similar to what we saw in Malta, or Pennsylvania where dinosaurs were being captured in the wild, and then treated and either sold to some dubious buyer or shipped to fight in underground fighting. Completely unethical, it would still fit into the prior storylines.
What we need for Jurassic World Evolution 3 could be: - quite advanced and new terrain mechanics with the possibility of altering the terrain quite a bit, being able to create deep lakes or not, being able to create caves and hills or long mountains and even natural bridges, waterfalls and other things - By being able to create lagoons, I hope there can be more amphibian dinos like we already have Archelon, Nothosaurus or even Dimetrodon and that they can live in enclosures with other dinos or at least be able to go out to a space of land and not to a rock same as in 2 - Speaking of Lagoons, they should give the possibility of creating natural lagoons like in one of the Malta DLC maps - we also need cenozoic animals and baby dinos like in planet zoo (optional) - more animals in the feeders of all types and not only goats, they could even release more fish or aquatic animals for the marine ones, such as live sharks or large fish or similar to tuna, and for the aerial ones, birds that fly like them, such as pigeons. - decoration objects for venues such as PLANET ZOO, destroyed jeeps, buildings, etc. - At the beginning everything is unlocked, maps, dinos and buildings from all eras, for what you want to play campaign or challenge, normal without problems
Im really excited for the game although it will come out on like a year or two, but i guess it's time to save up my money. I really hope they do add babies and semi-aquatics, and overall more things about water. I feel like the lagoon dinos, despite being as cool as they are, rarely bring much to my parks in the game, the same with aviaries. Also, i have gotten a glitch twice where my mosa got stuck on nothing and starved to death, the only way to get it out of that state was to tranquilize it and put it back in the same spot lmao
I think the aquatic habitat should blend in more to the surroundings, and it'd be really cool for the marine reptiles able to jump out and attack dinosaurs.
I think that the custom hybrid addition would be EXTREMELY hard to implement, but incredible in the end. There's a lot of options, but I do think what they could do is borrow models from Jurassic World The Game, like the Diplotator, Alanqasaurus etc.
A few things I want are Sauropods fighting back, babies, natural lagoons, actual underwater and air fights, flyers walking on the ground, better fighting mechanics in general, and hybrids coming along with the game this time. For at least one pack they need to incorporate Carnoraptor
I want to see baby dinosaurs and nesting behaviour. Animals like Ice Age mammals, giant insects, avian dinosaurs, reptiles like Deinosuchus. A larger array of decorations for all park eras and buildings. Including statues Maybe more hybrids? Water depth control. Canoe ride, balloon ride, Cave building system, upstairs and ground floor enclosure viewing. More awesome dinosaur coloration features. And like the feature that gives buildings their damaged look, but one for dinosaurs and their scars
i think we need a copy and paste option and also have a lil rework with symmetry because whenerver i place hotel opposite to eachother it is messed up and faces the way it shouldn't be, i think also more patterns like have to choose between stripes spots, both, feathers or having to add some sort of quills or just the option to make it patternless. a thing that triggers me are fences yes we need different height but also different models because from the jp and jw era the medium fence is the same and i want them to feel more unique which is a thing that the dfw building sets has ( also a feature to clip fences would be cool like concrete + wire). more decorations fountains with an animal in the center or even statues of dinosaurus but just the iconic ones like trex para brachi you get the point
I definitely want advanced terrain tools, deep ponds, some way to create flowing water to simulate rivers, even create islands in a shallow or deep water enclosure and consequently pscinivorous dinosaurs with swimming animations. So the glorious option of creating steep terrain, mountains, peaks, ridges, and deep burrowing to create a habitat that is below spectator level. And if deep terrain exists there should be some kind of elevator for the guards and medical cars, and bridges that go over the habitats. Although creating habitats in deep terrain can be very convenient, since the dinosaurs will not be able to escape.
I guess in my top 3 would be breeding, semi-aquatics and modular building. These 3 would be the ones which would make me definitively buy the game, none of them, well, I guess I would just skip...
i kinda doubt that authentic breeding will be added, but one feature i'd certainly like to see is implementing baby dinos (at least for those with "known examples" from the franchise--it might be too tall an order to have that for all of them) as either alternate models or as part of the in-game gene modification where you take out the implied growth accelerators, making them small, young, and helpless for a long time but extending their total lifespan in exchange truthfully, most of my own hopes and what i'd suggest are really just elaborations on what came before--an "Authenticity Pack" that makes the dinosaurs look more like they really did as alternate models (such as adding feathers to everything that reasonably would have) so that those who want accurate dinos can have them while the fictionalized ones are still there, or a version of the aviary building which is used to replicate caves, but that's really just more of what we already have. probably the most radical thing i'd have in mind would be to include a biome brush (and corresponding biome preferences) so that you can theme areas in certain ways, such as laying down a temperate biome area in an otherwise tropical map to more clearly suggest that it's a distinct grassland rather than just a part of the jungle with fewer trees
I think adding a size changer for the dinosaurs if you make the dinosaurs 10% size they can be considered babies and they also need more raptors and species like dakotaraptor and achillobator
here is a feature i would like to see: building interiors! you can go inside some buildings in 1st person view, and walk around inside the building. You could go in a hatchery, and see your actual dinosaurs in the incubation process. Or you could go in a anemity building and see all the attractions inside. This would be cool, but the main reason I want to see this feature is because: raptors going inside the buildings! and you can send the response teams to go inside the buildings, either by foot or drone, and try and capture the escaped dinosaur before they cause any trouble. also the brads and brad x.
I really want it where there is to different modes in sandbox 1st where you can play as the dinosaur in a free land of where a bunch of other dinosaurs are or where you are being controlled by a park builder or 2nd you can just play as a normal park builder just like how it is right now. Or maybe you can build a park and control any of the dinosaurs you want.
The fences should be able to be broken like normal fences on the lagoon and dinosaurs like the mosa and megalodon can jump out to eat dinosaurs if they get too close I don’t think that would get added though because it would be too hard to make
I'd love the ability to go into the eyes of a guest and be able to move around, so we could actually walk around the paths of our parks looking at enclosures etc. Also with the Sabertooth featuring in Camp Cretaceous the Cenozoic creatures are a very real possibility for the third game. Also what I would be most hyped for, immediately throwing a trex in with the Mammoths 😂
Modular buildings and Breeding are not big deals at all. Just import Planet zoo code for breeding and have prefab building options. So, you only have to go module if you want to. Plus, steam workshop will add tons to new fan made buildings like Planet zoo has. I can almost guarantee these are the two features they are adding.
I feel like Custom Island is the safest bet for one of the new stand-out features. Its been one of the most consistently asked for while not being as hard to implement as baby dinosaurs or most other ideas. The fact they singled out the subreddit's discussions makes me think this is very likely.
Which 2 new features would YOU most want to come in JWE3???
1. A water depth brush so we can have dinosaur swimming animations and semi-aquatic animals in the game, like Hesperornis, Deinosuchus, Sarcosuchus or Koolasuchus.
2. Walking and social animations for pterosaurs.
hmm probably a Deinosuchus
Being able to play as the dinosaurs
I’m personally hoping for more intractability between Pterosaurs, Marine Reptiles and Dinosaurs. I want Dinosaurs to be able to break into Aviaries and Mosasaurs able to break parts of the Lagoons to swipe and snatch humans and dinosaurs when broken. I want Quetzalcoatlus Vs Tyrannosaurus Rex. I want them to interact more than Quetzalcoatlus able to steal Dryosaurus off the ground
More destruction and spino can swim would be cool
I think a neat feature would be guests leaving actual reviews like: "The Allosaurus ate my son in law. 3.5 stars."
ahahaha "the allosaurus ate my son in law... 5/5 stars!!!"
@@EvolutionSquare "Clever Girl" in reference to the Velociraptors escaping
@@keithkahler1327 not tryna be mean but do try to spell "Velociraptor" right bc people are mean and might correct you in a mean way

Natural Lagoons. Multiple water levels. A Water fill tool. Waterfalls. Mod Support for PC. I'm sure I'll think of more but those jumped out to me as stuff I want a lot.
They could even add the natural lagoons as part of the new water feature, where you could rather place down a concrete lagoon or you could just make a deep section of water for the animals to swim in
Waterfalls and water customization would be sweet!
I love the idea of island generation! I always felt underwhelmed by the map choices in jwe2. In general, the five deaths in jwe felt so special and exciting lore wise. With so many random maps in jwe2 the each felt less special.
@@Drby_ oh yeah, the 5 deaths as playable maps should return for sure. They’re iconic
Also mod support on console too
Waterfalls, tunnels, better terrain tools, able to paint paths/roads that don't interfere with placing gates and weird overlap glitches.
Or homonocephle getting pet
“Breeding would be a huge job for Frontier” Yes, but they can reuse the models already made in JWE2, (the dinosaur models would be the same as in the previous game and not all species have specific variants) with this in mind, they can perfectly implement babies and breeding in the third game, in fact, this feature is the change I want most in JWE3
that's still 122 new models to make though, it's not as simple (or shouldn't be) as sizing down the adults.
@@EvolutionSquare How the dino growth works that will make the difference, as it involves heavy programming. The models themselves are the less difficult, they can make edits to existing models too, that would help a lot. Is it simple? Certainly not, is it possible? Definitely, see what was done in Planet Zoo
@@guilherme20af I kinda think it may work like the Isle
@@EvolutionSquare
Yea, it will be quite hard to do.
Sizing down the adults would still look wierd so they'd need to make some changes for the models to look right.
They could do that by exaggerating the features of adult models like making the eyes bigger, the body more chubby and hiding spikes if the adult version has them.
I've been watching game dev livestreams lately and the devs did just that, didnt size down the model in blender just change how it looks ( they can be sized down with code in-game )
It wouldnt be as hard as making new models and it would allow them to switch between the baby and adult models slowly, imitating actual growth.
I wanna see a Quetza bully an Indominus, and its not just being there and scaring it, its full on harassing the Hybrid.
I can here the head bonks already
Realistically a Quetzalcoatlus wouldn't even be much of a threat to most animals around its weight class. They are spindly and would get folded by most carnivores.
Of course this isn't the Real Quetzalcoatlus but jurassic world Evolutions monstess Quetzalcoatlus that can grab a hold and trow down a multi ton hadrosaur as if it was T rex.
@@Gigi4u realistically i just think this would be funny!

Idk
I would want a campaign like JWE1 too! But yeah, not at the top of my list ;)
Yeah i agree, i personally felt bored out for most of the missions, jwe1 had a better campaign.
I call swimming dinosaurs and babies since those things excist in planet zoo❤
Hopefully swimming dinosaurs means variable water depth

They could do customizable buildings instead of modular, like they did with the shops, but make all buildings (or most) have several different customization options, adding an illusion of variety to the buildings
My wishlist would be-
-MORE attractions, buildings, scenery…I always felt like that was the key thing missing from evo 2
-Breeding and baby dinosaurs! You could even have a chaos theory-like issue where you have to use gene mutations to stop breeding. And then this would also allow a Isla Sorna like reserve option
- WHOLE islands, or-LARGER maps.
I hope they make accounts. So you can log in across different devices and keep building the same park.
“Familiar“ , “Stand out feature” and.. “Reddit“. Big tree confirmed?!?
lol "Reddit"
BIG TREEE
De TREE
CRETACEOUS
FINALLY, I AM CRYING RN
Running water, waterfalls, allowing water depth, better terrain tools in general.
If you're going to have baby dinos, you need to have walking animations for pterosaurs
A second thing I want is the deeper waters like you suggested but with the fact that all dinosaurs can swim through them or under the water but the only thing is if there properly addapter to do it. Like they all have a time limit before they need air and then the start drowning but the semi aquatics have 10-15 minutes of time to stay under when the non aquatics have 5 at the very most. Something like a spinosaurus vs a T. Rex underwater
I really hope they add more unique maps,
Maybe like
Australia
China
France
Netherlands
Hawaii
Other 5 deaths islands
Japan
India
Chile
Brazil
Argentina
so real
Please add Russia I want giant Siberia
I’d like Japan for the sake of the pink blossom trees. That’d be amazing.
the 5 deaths is in the game, but only the 1st one sadly
Hammond mentioned Orlando in JP1. As a Florida Man, myself… I wouldn’t mind engineering a spine rampage in central state. 😄
I hope they add roller coasters or pools and water slides Or even playgrounds as decoration
It would also be cute when you release the dinosaur they will be a baby
I think a customable monorail height would be amazing because it feels a bit too high and ground monorail stations would be cool as well as monorail tunnels and the park gates.
Air, Land and sea creature interactions would be cool
I haven’t seen anyone mention this recently, but I really want underwater foliage brushes! It’s very boring to place kelps individually in big lagoons or any decoration in general!
Also swamp or shallow waters, or a waterfall making feature! It gives habitats a lot of personality!
totally! but I would peronally file that under "better terrain tools" or "more customization" in general

Btw I am new to the game and your channel! Thanks for making such a great community. Loves it here 🖤
i would just add the idea of more interaction with guest, because as of now they just come in, give us money and leave/die, (lol). nonetheless, very exited to hear about the new evolution game. thanks for the video!
My top 3 most wanted things in the next game
1. Baby dinos
2. Cenozoic species
That might not be enough for a standout feature, but I would like to see it
Currently back in my Jurassic Park/World craze and I found your channel over that.
I hope for the following improvements:
4. Visitors should also be able to observe the dinosaurs from the paths
5. Attractions and rides/boat rides/underwater tunnels
6. More different buildings as "blueprints" then, not just two hotels
7. deactivatable collision and hitboxes
@@domino5525 Fr
All I need from jwe 3 is
1) custom islands
2)Cenozoic and more animals that lived before the dinosaurs like meganura
3)Of course I want baby dinosaurs with the petting zoo to have.
I would also love to see boats and maybe more military themed attractions, like military boats and armored cars
i want rides like the spinning eggs or maybe a small rollercoaster and full islands.
I’d love deeper water for areas outside of lagoons to see the spino swim and brings in options for crocs and other amphibians
I know it might be a decent amount of work but I feel like it would add a lot of life to the parks and make them feel more like zoos
easter egg where if you have raptors the staff member will sometimes be Owen
I want them to interact more than Quetzalcoatlus able to steal Dryosaurus off the ground
i hate to break it to yo but quetz vs rex wouldnt even be close, flying creatures have weak bones.
Baby and semi aquatics do sounds pretty damn cool
but I'm also wondering somewhat if they're going to implement more feathered species/feathered options for existing species.
@@EvolutionSquare
That’s good
personally i would want custom islands and semi-aquatic dinosaurs the most
im hoping its either babies, enrichment or just added complexity to how your animals behave. An overhaul to animal behaviour in general (breeding and enrichment would fall under this), is my biggest personal want for the next game, more than new species or new attractions, buildings etc. Id love for the animals just to act more like animals.
Would love site B tho, if it had custom islands.
it would be a great idea to add babies dinosaurs because in sandbox if you dont want them you can change in the sandbox settings and that would satisfy everyone
exactly *or* if you don't want to deal with babies constantly growing up and having too many adults: switch off aging.
@@EvolutionSquare this is how it should be ngl
Will anyone ever (other than me read this in full xd)?
i really hope they update the spinosaurus model because we genuinely just need an absolute badass movie style spinosaurus with movie sounds, things that the last two games lacked in a way
I think this is a big stretch but I would love to see a mechanic where if you have 100% of the genome of a dino, you could change the model to a paleo accurate one with different animations and sizes.
oh man I would looooooooooove that!
The space=pause button drove me insane I at first I thought my game were somehow overlapping with yt lol
I honestly really want water parks like how we saw from Jurassic World😅
Honest opinion
I think custom dinosaurs and custom maps, will be a cool feature in evolution 3
I think custom hybrids would be harder to implement than baby Dino’s, just from the sheer amount.
Why???
I’m a simple guy with simple requests:
•No hit boxes.
•Reversible buildings so we can have symmetrical layouts
•Paintable pathwork
•flowing water
if they remove the hitbox, I'll *swim* to the UK to drop to my knees at Frontier's HQ and thank them
I think another cool thing would be making a tour on water for those semi aquatic dinosaurs like you were saying
I would love park sharing, since i play on ps5. Especially multiplayer mode would be a nice thing to have, but realistically? They probably won’t :(
I really just wanted them to allow more editing like making waterfalls, or not having collision for some stuff, like having full control of decoration placement (choose biome for plant placement), and for them to make a full release instead of 30 separate DLCs like JWE2, also deinosuchus and other prehistoric animals instead of only dinosaurs would be nice, like a prehistoric planet zoo you know
We want paleo accurate dino skin for every single dinosaur that existed.
By skin I mean it should also change its size, not only skin color and texture.
I would love if you could change a setting so they only hunt wenn they are hungry and need food
Through that they could breed before they die out
Baby dinos would bring a interesting mechanic to the game, especially in story mode.
I would love the ability to make caves! I would consider that part of "improved terrain tools"
I hope there will be baby dinosaurs/breeding so you can make a true sanctuary with predators and prey with better herding behaviour
Biggest thing I want is just smarter, more realistic guests who don’t stop to take selfies with a brick wall in the background and point in awe at trees lol
I would like to see enrichment for the dinosaurs. Like scratching posts or balls, just little things like that would be nice
utahraptor pack playing with toys would be the best thing i've ever seen
2 things:
1:breeding/baby dinosaurs
2:PTEROSAUR WALK CYCLES
For innovations/updates, I think it will be better tools(including adjusting water depth), probably more modifiable buildings/maybe a little more modular building capabilities(I don't think they'll go full Planet Zoo with modular building), pathing tools, to maybe include paths connecting/being able to pass through gates, lagoons. Hopefully with lagoons, natural lagoons and/or land or riverr transition area. Also add new attractions including the river cruise. Maybe upgrade to the skin system(including indications of sexual dimorphism.... important for one of the new features I'd like yo see)
2 new features:
1: Breeding/baby dinos(sexual dimorphism would probably be helpful in making this happen)
2: This may fall into the Site B idea, but what I had hoped they had done even with JWE 2, making the park not a park.
I think would be nice have choice like put few few animals in dinos enclosures and roaming free around the park such as reptiles and birds
They need to concentrate more on the guest and park stuff more than the dinos in this next one I think
Including statues
Maybe more hybrids?
Steps/stairs would be nice lol
I guess in my top 3 would be breeding, semi-aquatics and modular building. These 3 would be the ones which would make me definitively buy the game, none of them, well, I guess I would just skip...
I still want an ADS (aerial deterrence system) in jwe2
Breeding and sauropods fighting back please and thank you
i kinda doubt that authentic breeding will be added, but one feature i'd certainly like to see is implementing baby dinos (at least for those with "known examples" from the franchise--it might be too tall an order to have that for all of them) as either alternate models or as part of the in-game gene modification where you take out the implied growth accelerators, making them small, young, and helpless for a long time but extending their total lifespan in exchange
truthfully, most of my own hopes and what i'd suggest are really just elaborations on what came before--an "Authenticity Pack" that makes the dinosaurs look more like they really did as alternate models (such as adding feathers to everything that reasonably would have) so that those who want accurate dinos can have them while the fictionalized ones are still there, or a version of the aviary building which is used to replicate caves, but that's really just more of what we already have. probably the most radical thing i'd have in mind would be to include a biome brush (and corresponding biome preferences) so that you can theme areas in certain ways, such as laying down a temperate biome area in an otherwise tropical map to more clearly suggest that it's a distinct grassland rather than just a part of the jungle with fewer trees
more attractions such as balloon ride from operation genesis and breading
The fences should be able to be broken like normal fences on the lagoon and dinosaurs like the mosa and megalodon can jump out to eat dinosaurs if they get too close I don’t think that would get added though because it would be too hard to make
That wouldn’t be that hard actually
I'd love the ability to go into the eyes of a guest and be able to move around, so we could actually walk around the paths of our parks looking at enclosures etc.
Also with the Sabertooth featuring in Camp Cretaceous the Cenozoic creatures are a very real possibility for the third game.
Also what I would be most hyped for, immediately throwing a trex in with the Mammoths 😂
You hit the two at the top of ky wishlist with wdvanced terrain tools and bridges. I’d absolutely LOVE to build an enclosure with a sharp cliff.
The fact they singled out the subreddit's discussions makes me think this is very likely.
waterfalls is a must imo
